My daughter saw Dr. Von Roekel in October of 2017. I was present for the visit. The doctor walked in with a preconceived notion of what my daughter was going through at the time. NOT a good plan! After introducing herself, she said “Mom, what do you think is wrong with your daughter?” My response was “You’re the doctor, we are looking for answers from you.” She proceeded to skirt my comment & ask my daughter the same question. We were off to a rough start. Long story short, everything she could have done - she didn’t & what she did do was bungled. Fast forward 2 1/2 years, my daughter is extremely ill & her prognosis is guarded. Had she acted professionally & done her job, she could have spared much of what my daughter is going through now. This was an opportunity missed & that’s unacceptable when someone’s life is in the wings.

I've been seeing Dr. Van Roekel for many years now, She is the most knowledgeable, caring and understanding doctor I've ever dealt with. I would highly recommend her.

This doctor should lose her license to practice medicine. I truly hope her malpractice insurance is up to date because she is going to need it for totally misdiagnosing and incorrectly prescribing medication for my family member. Her 2 different diagnoses in less than a week's time were not only utterly ridiculous, but they were each very, very wrong. A serious event happened and she missed it. Please do no harm and do NOT see this doctor.

Awful, awful experience with her. She was condescending and rude. Didn't ask about my history before telling me all sorts of things I should be doing. Interrupted me multiple times. Told me I had to come in and pay my very expensive co-pay if I'd like my medication refilled. Unreasonable and uncaring doctor.

Excellent physician. Very knowledgeable. I am a physician with medical issues and she is on top of everything.

I have gone to Dr. Van Roekel for many years. She is very thorough, takes the time to listen, will ask pertinent questions, and if necessary suggest further testing or specialist referrals to determine a diagnosis and best way to resolve. She has guided me through many complex health issues and I consider myself very lucky to have such a great doctor.

When I see Dr. Van Roekel, she gives me 100% of her attention. She listens carefully and addresses every concern I have. She never seems rushed and she's thorough in her exam and follow up. Dr. Van Roekel is a serious doctor with a good personality. I always feel Dr. Van Roekel is right there with me -not detached and clinical. When I call the office, a nurse or often Dr. Van Roekel herself calls me back promptly. She inspires me with her competence and dedication. Really love her!

Dr. Van Roekel is very thorough with my wellness and all medical issues I have. She is pleasant, personable, and easy to talk to. She has called me at home at night to check in and make sure I was doing well. She is the best!

Dr. Van Roekel is so thorough!!! I went in with a HUGE list of ailments from a career that had done a number on my body. After the short initial visit she right away scheduled a longer evaluation. She took the time to type every last detail into my chart even though I sounded like a crazy woman. I feel with her experience she takes the time to prioritize what will work best for you as an individual. She has compassion for what your going through...stress, anxiety, physical issues and more.

I think Dr. Van Roekel is an excellent Physician. She was very thorough in my physical examination ultimately diagnosing that I needed a new hip when previous Physicians did not discern that I needed a hip replacement operation. I can now walk much better. She ordered a number of tests to be sure that I was not in danger of a major ailment.
