Dr. Vivek Jain

Have spent the last hour trying to make an appointment with Dr. Jain. Called 5 different numbers (no one could transfer me for some reason), was hung up on twice, was told he doesn't do sleep disorders (which he does), and finally, that his first appointment is in June (2 months away). I give up. They desperately need a new system for reaching doctors' offices at GW!! So inefficient and cumbersome to make one appointment! Arrrggghhhh

Dr. Jain tells you to schedule an appointment once a year to review sleep apnea protocol and there are never available appointments. Today I was told that he isn't taking appointments right now and maybe I should call back in two weeks. This is really crazy. How is one supposed to update their equipment or make necessary changes? Again, crazy.

Good luck trying to treat sleep apnea. Impossible to get an appointment, 20+ minute wait time any time you call in to talk to someone. The process for getting treatment will require no fewer than 4 appointments and a sleep study, spaced out over 8+ months. Expect road bumps at every turn as it’s impossible to ever get a straight answer out of a time, and every mishap is blamed on a mysterious system or bureaucracy with no attempt to remedy. Better off going to a different provider altogether.
