Reviews for Dr. Vincent C. Marino
Was just humiliated at this poodiatristâs office. It was a first time appt. I got a wheelchair from the entrance to the office. Once inside, the receptionist said there was a form to fill out. I explained that I canât write legibly due to strokes? and asked if she could help. She then attempted to just drop the 5 page form on the clipboard? into my lap. I asked her why she was doing that when Iâm not able to fill it out myself and she said well, it has to be filled out. ? Once again I explained Iâm not able to write legibly due to past strokes and that I would need some help. She sighed, rolled her eyes and stomped away. Then another office staff member did the same song and dance. Next, Dr. Marino came out and said âI canât see you if you refuse to fill out the forms.â I said Iâm not refusing I just canât write well because Iâve had strokes but he interrupted me and loudly said, â itâs the law! You have to fill out the forms or I canât see you?â I asked if anyone would help me fill out the forms and he said no you can get someone else to do that. ?I was nearly in tears. Then I had to ask one of the rude women at the front desk to please roll me back downstairs to my car which was also met with sighs and groans. Once the woman got me close to my car, I asked how to move the foot pedals so I could get up and again she rolled her eyes and sighed really loud?. I said, âyou guys must not be used to dealing with anyone with disabilities.â And she just said, âno, mamâ and walked away. Iâve never experienced such demeaning and unhelpful behavior at any respected specialistâs office, it was humiliating.

Dr. Curran is excellent—knowledgable and efficient. I followed her plan (and continue) to treat my chronic Achilles tendinitis/tendonosis and I am back walking and running pain-free. I had given up hope after being treated with a prescription of physical therapy and PRP by an orthopedic surgeon—which both failed. Dr. Curran got me back on track, and I am extremely grateful for her no-nonsense care. Dr. Curran is excellent—knowledgable and efficient. He discusses with you honestly your condition. Technically, he is great. I cannot recommend him more highly. I am glad my friend recommended him to me.
I had a terrible experience with this office. After I had my consultation, they recommended a treatment. I told my doctor I would only be interested if it were covered by my insurance. She told me she would check with my insurance and got back to me saying it would be covered by my insurance at no charge to me, so I went through with it. Later I found out my insurance never told her the treatment would be covered. In fact they told her I would not be covered. The office made me pay $600 dollars out of pocket for her mistake and threatened to send me to collections. I've never had a doctor give me incorrect information like this, let alone refuse to take responsibility. Needless to say, I do not recommend them. I had a terrible experience with this office. Dr. Marino has been a constant in providing excellent care for my family. Both my daughter and son have had need for his services over the years. In both cases, Dr. Marino went above and beyond to help insure our children's needs were more than met. In fact, he brought in a bone stimulator to help progress the healing of my son's foot. From assessing the issues, implementing advanced care procedures and the related follow up, Dr. Marino has provided excellent care and professionalism. I highly recommend his services. Dr. Marino treated my son when he broke his foot playing high school football. We were fortunate that he was at the game helping out the trainer as a volunteer so he started treating my son on the field and then followed-up at his office on his own time. By using a bone growth stimulator early in the process, he actually had my son's foot healed and had him back on the field in 3-4 weeks. Having seen Dr. Marino at numerous youth athletic events as a volunteer trainer, I can tell you that my experience is that he's one of the best doctors in the area and we are lucky to have him helping out both in his office and on the fields. Dr. Mariano provided me with quality care. He is very easy going and clearly described the different options that I had. I will definitely return for and foot issues in the future.
Dr Marino is amazing. I slipped and fell off of a ladder hanging Christmas lights and broke my foot in 3 places. I needed surgery. The ER doctor called in Dr. Marino (on a weekend) and he had me in surgery the same night to fix the breaks. I just finished physical therapy after being in a cast for 6 weeks and I am please to say I am doing great and back at work full time. I highly recommend Dr. Marino! Dr Marino is amazing. I am a patient of Dr Marino, and also an RN who happens to care for many patients he treats at a local hospital. My treatment in his care was exceptional, and he went above and beyond by working me into his busy schedule. I was back to my prior function (and better) in no time. He comes highly recommended from myself, and his patients I have cared for all had great experiences with him. Recently Dr. Marino completed a bunionectomy to correct issues with my foot and it was a complete success, including the insertion of a plate in my foot. He explained the process with pros/cons, routinely checked the progress post-surgery and I am very happy with the results.

I had a bunion surgery with Doctor Marino, was the biggest mistake for me. I am in worse condition now!!! Please get a second opinion. I have to get this surgery done again and I have to pay now. I don’t recommend this doctor at all!!! My advice don’t let this surgeon touch you!!

i had my first visit with Dr Marino and I was worried my treatment would be painful and it wasn't. I also had concerns re: my ankle and tendon healing process. He was supper nice, gentle and explained everything clearly. Feeling positive
I have known Dr. Marino for the past ten years .....like and trust him and have always received nothing less but excellent service by him and his staff! :)
Excellent, effective fast footcare. Very satisfied with Dr. Marino's expertise.
If you want your doctor to be condescending and arrogant with the personality of a warthog with a hangover, this is your guy. Biggest mistake of my life. Ruined my foot by performing a procedure never discussed with me pre-surgery. Left me with a numb and burning foot. Didn't fix what I went in for. Five other very well known and peer respected surgeons have all told me Marino was incorrect in all aspects of my surgery. Need second surgery to correct what he didn't. See anyone but him.
