Dr. Vincent Vern Benivegna

A year ago, just prior to leaving for Florida, Dr. Benivegna got me into his Charlotte office to remove a tooth that was causing a lot of pain. I had previously had a cap and route canal on that tooth, in an attempt to save it. It didn't work. Now, the plan was to remove it and install an implant. Dr. Benivegna could not have been easier to deal with, very knowledgeable, explaining the procedure, asking if I had any questions. The staff was great. I don't think I could have spent my 2 weeks in Florida without that extraction. I certainly would not have enjoyed my vacation. Upon return from Florida, I had a consult at his office in East Lansing. He fully explained all options, allowing me to make a decision without any pressure. I was very impressed. This guy was very brief with me and refused to listen at all when I tried to tell him that I was nowhere near numb enough for him to pull my tooth. He yanked it out and I felt all of it.

Was referred here same-day and had no time to do any research. Hoping to save someone else some PTSD. I was in extreme pain from an infected molar and it just had to come out. I told them that I need extra numbing because I do not numb up easily. I was brushed off. Next thing I know, he was yanking it out without making sure I wasn't feeling anything. I felt it being ripped out. And then I was told to be quiet when I let out a yelp and tried to tell them to stop because I could feel it. This isn't the Stone age. I should not have felt anything. I had a molar removed while pregnant by my regular dentist and felt nothing at all. I've also had 2 root canals and felt nothing, so I know that I am able to be properly numbed. I have horrible anxiety about any dental visit since this office visit.

Had an amazing experience from the wisdom teeth consult to the procedure (that I had literally 5 hours ago)!! Everything was explained thoroughly and in a confident manner. I was nervous for my surgery but the doctor who helped me pre-operatively with my oxygen, laughing gas and monitoring was so great and talked with me as I was becoming loopy and goofy. Dr. Benivegna was also great in talking to me as he placed the catheter and next thing I knew I was out! Everything went so fast and I didn't feel a thing, just noticed occasionally that they were in my mouth but no pain. Even now I feel pretty good. I'm very happy with my experience so much that I would do it all again! Definitely recommend this doctor! ???? I had a situation, a growth on my inner lip that I was constantly biting. I was sent to this office. After sitting in a cramped, uncomfortable waiting room for over an hour, I was taken back and it was lasered out. It returned, I went back, again waited for an hour or so, and when I was seen, I was basically blown off. It wasn't deemed to be an issue. I was more than angry. So the biting through my lip continued and I was referred to someone else. I went there and the differences started at the door. A pleasant, comfortable waiting room, front desk staff that were pleasant and welcoming. I waited maybe 5 minutes?, but I think it was less. The Assistants were like the office staff, friendly, caring, and so was the Doctor. He took one look and said, were going to have to cut this out, which he did; with care instructions to avoid scar tissue from coming back. I had 2 follow up appts., the original issue is gone, the scar tissue that developed is gone and I can now eat without holding my lower lip out to avoid biting through. It's a shame too, because I requested the doctor here. I won't again, and I'll tell everyone why and where they should go for proper treatment.
