Checked in late then waited 35 minutes past my appointment time. Patients should be told when a doctor is running behind and how long. Dr. Batista was fine.

Dr. Batista and his office are very professional and cordial. Very efficient practice. The doctor takes time to explain the procedures involved and answers any questions I had. Good experience. I had a carpel tunnel syndrome and needed surgury.

The doctor came in the exam room and never introduced himself. I didn’t see a name tag. In fact when we left my husband said “who was that guy?” Personally I thought he was very thorough and explained everything to me about my hand and what to expect about the surgery and healing time. He was very personable.

Very good Dr. I wouldn't ask for anyone else. Dr. B is very thorough. Orthopedic Associates in my opinion are the best.

All the staff were nice, The Doctor talked to me and explained very well about my medical problem and how to treat it. He gave an excellent steroid shot in my hand that was very minimal pain. I was expecting to be much Worse! Definately a good place to go.

Dr Battista is always wonderful and caring. He is an excellent surgeon and I have always gotten better following surgeries (meaning my quality of life has always improved substantially following surgery). All of the staff is excellent…efficient and kind. He is on time with my appts and never rushes me. Definitely recommend Dr Battista.

My hand surgery resulted in complications and hand therapy was unsuccessful. At my last visit I was told he would see me at my next hand therapy session but he wasn’t there and did not make any effort to follow up. The hand therapist said I could follow up if I wanted to. I felt abandoned in my care and no one cared that my surgery was not successful.

Pressured me into bilateral carpal tunnel surgery; never recovered properly. It has destroyed my livelihood. He gave up and pushed me off onto a neurologist. Save yourself!

Spends little time with you but has a different diagnosis every visit

Dr. Battista of Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster did a tendonitis relief surgery on two fingers and my thumb on my right hand. Two carpal release surgeries and one elbow. Very succesful outcomes. Straight forward and wonderful doctor.

Dr. Battista is an amazing surgeon. I wish I had listened to his recommendation for wrist implant surgery sooner.

Dr. Battista is very laid-back, which at times during my visits came across as apathetic and cavalier. That will work for him as long as he is 100% successful with a patient, and I have no reason to think he is not a bright doctor. But if he ever provides less than awesome work, he is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I would not use him again.

Fractures of both wrists. 4 plates inserted. Outstanding performance of setting and a speedy recovery for a 67 year old. Not enough praise for this surgon.

Would highly recommend Dr. Battista. He is very knowledgeable and took care of my problem in my hand.

Chronic pain, left hand. He had to remove a tendon from my forearm and reconstruct my severely damaged hand, from arthritis, below the thumb area. It's been 20 months and I continue to be pain free. Dr. Battista is very meticulous, with an amazing Physical Therapist Group for after care.
