I recently had back surgery done by Dr. Vinay Deshmukh (neurosurgeon) at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital . From the moment I had consultation with him I knew he was the right surgeon for me. I was very concerned about having back surgery. When it was all done, I was amazed. No pain whatsoever. Dr. Deshmukh is highly skilled.

Excellent surgeon! I had a TLIF (Transforminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) 3 weeks ago. Since my surgery, I have not had anymore sciatica or numbness in my legs. Pain is gone!! Thank you Dr. Deshmukh for giving me my life back.

We love dr. Deshmukh however, we received an email with the Amount of payment upfront. No name,no procedure, no cpt codes. We ask for help and we were denied. I would like dr Deshmukh to call me.

Dr Deshmuke does fantastic work. I am living proof. I was very close to being paralyzed permanently. After neck surgery I had a new lease on life.

I was referred to Dr. Deshmukh for removal of a brain tumor in October 2019. I will say that this physician has all the qualities of the type of doctor we all hope for. From his friendliness to his obvious care and concern for his patients to his exptertise as a surgeon, he is unparalleled! Wish I could give him 1,000 stars!

I am post back fusion surgery one week today. I have yet to have a day of pain. Not at all. Two incisions. Two rods. 4 screws. Most beautiful work possible. physically and visually. I was very dissatisfied with our first meeting. He didn't tell me much about my disease and seemed very unconcerned about performing surgery which I found out is the only way to treat my disease. I learned all I could about causes, symptoms, and treatment/surgery via the internet thanks to websites like Johns Hopkins, The Mayo Clinic and Barrows Neurological Institute. To me that is beyond irresponsible and uncaring on the doctor's part to leave a patient in the dark about a serious, progressive and very frightening arterial brain disease.

This is a awesome surgeon. He clamped off a aneurysm for me 2010 and 4 years later saved my mothers life after a ruptured aneurysm with massive bleed. He really takes his time and is very informative.

In 2006 I had a laminectomy and fusion with hardware l3-s2. I was in terrible pain but the surgery was a new lease on mobility. Thank you Dr.

Dr Deshmukh performed back surgery on me in March for spinal stenosis and I have felt a world of difference. I would highly recommend him!

My wife has had an AVM and we normally go to NY for her specialist. This time we were referred over to Dr. Deshmukh and he gave us the time, energy and patients that we needed. You want someone in CLT that has the knowledge, experience and bed-side manner to help you - then he is the ONE to see. I would recommend him 100%! Mark
