Although a knowledgeable Dr, his office is extremely poorly run. They won’t even talk to insurance companies for pre certification of prescribed medicines. They charge co pays even when you don’t have one. They never charged insurance for visit either. Very poorly run office. Not part of Cleveland Clinic or UH, don’t waste your time.

I saw Dr Namrata Kumar. She gave me the best news and made my day. She has helped me stay on course with my diabetes and helped me understand my thyroid problem was not as bad as I thought it might be. She helped me relax and not worry that my thyroid was worse than I thought. Dr, Dr. Namrata Kumar for being an angel.

Dr. Kumar has helped me drop my A1C 2 full points. I highly recommend he and Namarada. I actually look forward to my appointments with enthusiasm.

Fantastic. He care for his patients. He tells them what to do control diabetes. Weight loss is his goal for his patients better themselves on watch what they eat. Im thinking having him and his wife as my new diabetic doctors.

he should not be practicing, misdiagnosed me for years, and was rude once on went on medicaid, said he didnt make enough money off me to do a pre authorization, refused to give me medical notes

I've been seeing Dr. Kumar for my type 2 diabetes for more than 10 years and I couldn't be more satisfied with the treatment he has provided--I feel well, and my condition has remained stable. He is also caring and personable, which inspires confidence and puts me at ease. Dr. Kumar and everyone who works in his office are knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and friendly.

Dr. Kumar has been my endocrinologist for 10 years. He has kept my diabetes under good control.

Had 2 appointments. First was good. He took my history and sent me over to have lab work done. I felt comfortable. Second visit, he gave me my results, prescribed some medication, but his manner was unacceptable. He was demeaning and kind of snorted in disgust/made a dismissive sound. He didn't bother going into detail on any of the results such as how far off the norm any of the stats were or what I could do to improve my health. I don't need to waste my time with that type of doctor. Unlike other patients, the waiting room was not overbooked on my visits.

My care is in good hands. I have been seeing this physician for a few years and am managing my disease with his help. I have total trust in his skills.

Dr. Kumar explains treatment well and is very helpful. He listened to me and allowed me have a say in my treatment. A caring physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kumar for two years, beginning in early 2018. At that time, I was having a very difficult time managing my A1C blood sugar numbers, regardless of my attempts to control my blood sugar and diet. With Dr. Kumar’s assistance and guidance, I was able to lower my blood sugar A1C level to under 7.0 within the first 3 months of consultation. Since that time, my 2-year average of A1C has been between 6.2 and 6.4. To maintain this level of success, I continue to consult with Dr. Kumar as he is very aware of trends with new medications, diabetic testing supplies improvements, and information about existing medications that can affect my diabetes management. Dr. Kumar has been a live-saver to me and would be a valued medical profession for anyone who is serious about controlling and maintaining their blood sugar health.

What an incredible office! I've been seen by both doctors and I'm so thankful for having them as MY DOCTORS.

Dr Kumar was thorough and attentive. Didn’t talk to me while typing in a computer. Has a great wholistic approach to diagnosis and treatment options.

I switched to Dr. Kumar 8 months ago. I’ve had 3 appts with him (technically only one - the other two were with his wife/NP), thinking each must’ve just been a one-off. I’ll be switching again. I can get past waiting forever for a quality visit ... however none of the 3x I’ve been seen have I even had my eyes or feet looked at. As a Type 1 for 23 years, it’s imperative these things are done. The final straw is his lack of a response to multiple phone calls with a request for a prescription as I’m trying to get on a pump. 7 weeks ago, I learned my insurance coverage would be good but have been waiting and calling every week needing the script to get it going ... and I’m still waiting.

My first appointment was good after I got out of the over filled waiting room. My second appointment was awful. Dr. Kumar didn’t even come into the room to see me, his wife was the only one who came in. She was nagging me the whole time and gave back false information about me. Drive 30 mins to go see the doctor not a nagging wife!

His office over books for patients. Patients have to wait for over an hour to see him. Standing room and patients waiting in hallway. I had to sit on the floor at age 61 because there was no seating.

Drove from Sandusky, was triple booked at my time. was suppose to call with results of lab work, waiting area is small, I waited over 45 or longer in waiting room then waited another 30 + in room.

Every time I see him I feel better about myself and my efforts to manage my diabetes! He always takes the time to answer all my questions.

Extremely helpful and engaging! He has made managing my Diabetes a breeze and always makes sure that I receive the proper care. I could not recommend more highly!
