Dr. Subramaniam put me at ease with friendliness and pointed questions about my symptoms. He let me know the next steps for diagnosing my problems, so I have confidence in any treatment he prescribes. I use this name to protect my identity for public posts.

Rude front office staff. Records not forwarded when requested. Felt like a number in Dr. Subramaniam's revolving door. Visits were rushed and unprofessional. Stay away if you want to be treated like a human.

First visit so far to Dr. Vijay , I was "seen" by a study . She asked all types of questions,and left . Dr. Vijay came in talked with me, explained what he had learned from my answers, asked a few more questions. I found him to be very friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. I am glad he is my Pulmonologist.

I have been thoroughly satisfied with my experience with Dr. Subramaniam at TPMG. Dr. Subramaniam has been very professional, explained my issues very clearly, and methodically moved through a number of steps to finally figure out what my problems were. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction and I never felt rushed so that he could see another patient. He was always pleasant and made me feel as I was the most important person that day. In 2011 I got really sick and could not stop coughing. Three ER visits they sent me to Dr. Vijay. He was so wonderful and concerned. I go to his office once a month for a shot and if I need to talk to him he is there for me. If I have issues or concerns I send him a message and he takes care of it. I would like to let everyone know that I’ve received great medical service at Dr. Vijay Subramaniam’s office. Dr. Vijay and his staff are true professionals and really provided outstanding treatment and advice for my lung conditions. Dr.Subramariam or Dr. Vijay as he is called by his clients is a wonderful doctor. I drive an hour and a half to reach his office but its well worth it. He is very down to earth, very clear and simple in his explanations and I am very relaxed at his visits. His staff is very friendly as well. I highly recommend this practice!

Treatment of Sleep Apnea. At-home sleep study. Review continued use of CPAP.

Reviewed my hospital records and gave a thorough review and diagnosed the probable problem as well as what was not a problem.

Explains procedures and reason for them. Is careful and thorough. Has a good manner with his patients. I would rate him a ten.

I am seeing Dr. Subramanian for a sleep apena. And will need to set up New sleep study. It's been more than 15 years from 1st one.My other Dr. Retired over a year ago. He is very listener and easy to talk too.

I am seeing Dr. VJ for a lung disease. I was quite upset and worried. when this problem was found however Dr. VJ provided excellent information and put me at ease. He also made it clear that I would need to take responsibly for my health while at the same time being supportive. He listened to what I had to say and gave necessary feedback. I know I am in good hands and am grateful to have him as my doctor. His staff have also been professional and caring as well. Thanks to all.

Dr. V.J. and his staff always provide friendly, professional, and exceptional service. They are thorough and Dr. VJ takes his time explaining results and is thorough in his examinations and explanation of results.

Routine follow up

My visit was great! I have been a patient of Dr. Subramaniam for a long time. I really appreciate him and how he helps people. He's the best thank you for all you do.

The first time I visited Dr. VJ I was really in very bad condition...he immediately saw my condition and started to work to help me survive. Dr. VJ and his ENTIRE STAFF always showed genuine compassion and were truly concerned for my health. In addition...because my condition kept me out of work the staff worked with my employer and insurance companies to help relieve the burden from me. I’m so thankful for Dr. VJ and his staff and they have continued to always care for me in the most professional and compassionate way.

Dr. VJ and I recently shared a virtual visit. I was a bit skeptical at first, however, the visit went off without a hitch. Dr. VJ was his usual professional, concerned, and helpful self. He, as always, listens to me express my symptoms and concerns and offers his medical advice and expertise. The virtual visit did not interfere with this at all. I would highly recommend Dr VJ to anyone that had pulmonary concerns. The staff at TPMG is also personable and professional.

Meeting went well. To date I have not heard back from lincare.

Dr. Vijay is a consummate professional and I trust him implicitly. I am grateful for his excellent care.

Dr Subramaniam takes the time to listen and orders needed tests. The test results will be be called to you so you know the results. Dr Subramaniam will refer you to a specialist if needed.

My aunt was his patient. In January she asked him for a cat scan because she was feeling shortness of breath. He declined. 10 months later I took her to emergency room where she was diagnosed with inoperable lung tumor. She is terminal. And get this... when his office called to ask about her routine appt. Dr “Vijay” is an excellent pulmonologist . I have enjoyed all my visits with him. He has My trust regarding all my pulmonary visits. I would recommend him to anyone having pulmonary issues.

Lackadaisical attitude, his schedule is more important than yours. His personnel attitude mocks his. Did me a favor in saying I did not follow his guidelines because it took me 6 weeks to get the appointment he told me to get anyway. His personal kept saying no appointments opened regardless of what he said.

He is a genius! Assesses the situation and acts. As you may surmise I am a big fan. However since his move to TPMG he seems rushed and literally ran out of the room. I was scheduled for three contacts with his office and only saw him once for about ten minutes. This was not the way he used to work. Front office scheduler is not helpful. I too cannot imagine why others have left such poor ratings for Dr. VJ. He and is staff are friendly and cordial. He spent the time to listen to my concerns, explained the facts and made appropriate adjustments to my treatments for moving forward. I did not feel hurried at all with him.

In my own experience, this office sees some patients charitably from local clinics but does not treat them with dignity.

Very rude office staff

I have had severe sleep apnea for years and have a bipap. I had an appointment to see the doctor but never saw him only office staff. The staff is rude, not knowledgeable and did not follow thru. It has been over a month and my issues still have not been taken care of. That's TPMG for you.

I took a lot of pride in choosing him to check me over, and do testing. I do not feel he took me seriously. Was in and out of office while talking with me, and on and off the cell phone with his kids. So time to find some one that will.

I cannot imagine why others have left such poor ratings for Dr. VJ; he is an EXCELLENT physician in every respect, and I am NOT one to praise anyone, particularly a health care provider, to others if he or she does merit the praise. Dr. VJ is a consummate professional, coupled with an encyclopedic knowledge of his field, an unflagging friendly, cordial manner that immediately would put anyone at ease, and spends as much time with his patients as they desire.. You are never hurried with him.

Dr Vijay lacks in sensitivity and bed side manner. His arrogance is astounding. My mother who is 83 years old did not follow one of his recommendations and now he refuses to see her again. Everyone makes mistakes, including my 83 year old mother, which she apologized for. He dis not see it in his heart to forgive and even speak with her again. You can't ask for a better doctor then Dr. Vjay. He is straight forward and to the point, he will tell you if your not willing to help yourself I can't help you and it's no good for me to waste my time trying. So if you aren't ready for brutally honest and to the ppint medical help and your not willing to try and help yourself Dr. Vjay isn't for you. Excellent doctor in his field of expertise. Dr Vijay did a fantastic job diagnosing and correcting my COPD. I found him to be personable and easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone. But if you don't follow his instructions, then you shouldn't expect positive results.
