Dr Pirogovsky is an experienced and knowledgeable doctor. She helped me with both of my kids. She is a wonderful person. I highly recommend her.
Agree with other reviewers that her bedside manner was not at all comforting, especially during a vulnerable time when you are trying to provide your child with the best care and attention that you can, as well as ease their fears. The doctor was confrontational with me and was trying to pressure me into treatments for my child that I was uncomfortable with, rather than first discussing all of the options with me and working together as a team towards the best solution.
If you want a warm and caring doctor this is not the doctor for you. Dr. Pirogovsky has always been on the frosty side and appears to not want to get very involved with her patients of their parents. Her skills may be alright, however her demeanor is not reassuring and I found it very off-putting.
She's extremely knowledgeable and is there to care for your child. I highly recommend her and the rest of the Spring Lake Pediatrics staff.
She was very cold and distant with both our baby and us. A pediatrician should not be cold towards a child. Very disappointed. She barely spoke to us and when we asked her questions we got one word answers. We couldn't wait to get out of that room.
