Dr. Victoria Morey Petty

Dr. Petty is a sad excuse for a health care "professional". She was the first-ever OBGYN I saw at age 18 (for around 3 years) and when I informed her that I was sexually active for the first time on my third visit to her, she shamed and patronized me. Genuine questions were met with a condescending attitude and when we discussed a particular type of surgery I was interested in, she informed me that she only performs it a particular way because she felt as if it was most suitable despite every other Dr. allowing the patient personal choice. She eventually left the practice and told me to follow her to her new practice even though she "wasn't supposed to tell patients that". It wasn't until I started seeing a new Dr. that I realized how much Dr. Petty enjoys inserting her unsolicited personal beliefs into the simplest of conversations, and how much she enjoys playing a moral superiority game with her patients.

Ever since the doctor who delivered my children retired, over 25 years ago, I have had horrific experiences with gynecologists. Then a young co-worker recommended Dr. Petty. Dr. Petty saved my co-workers life! I saw Dr Petty this past week and she is absolutely wonderful! She listens, is kind, caring and explains what she is doing. She also explains tests and why she wants them done! After all these years I finally found a gynecologist I trust! The nurse & receptionists are helpful & friendly.

Excellent doctor. She listens to what you have to say and actually seems interested in your well being. She is very patient and very nice to talk with, I would recommend her to someone who wants a doctor that really cares about your health. She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Most of the gynecologists I have been to in the past just never seemed to really care about you because they seemed more interested in younger patients who were getting pregnant or trying to.

Dr. Petty is wonderful! I started going to her in November 2016. She scheduled me for a series of tests to diagnose my problem. I had to have a small procedure that required general anastasia. She was thorough and fully esxplained the procedure. She was caring and personable. On the day of the procedure she walked me through the procedure again. After the procedure she took pictures to show me before and after and explained what occurred. I would definitely recommend her. Great doctor!
