Dr prisk is byfar one of the greatest doctors and human I have ever had the pleasure of meeting....no words can express how much he saved and helped me with my foot from not knowing if I was ever going to walk right again till now I can't thank him enough

Dr.Prisk is amazing and so skilled. After living with ankle pain for over 5 years, he fixed my ankle in one hour. My ankle had been looked at by many of Pittsburgh's the "best" ortho doctors that had no idea other than cut my ankle open. My visit to Dr. Victor Prisk was literally life changing. He has state-of-the-art equipment, took his time listening to me and evaluating my ankles. After learning I have end-stage arthritis in both my ankles, I was devastated. I’ve been having problems with my ankles for years. I was having balance issues and a lot of ankle pain and swelling. He gave me a cortisone injection, fitted me with a fabric corset-like ankle brace, recommended the best tennis shoes one could hope for, and a regimen of fish oil and joint support dietary supplements. I have been walking pain-free after using all the above methods Dr. Prisk recommended. I would hold onto everything for support while I walked. Now, my family and coworkers noticed the difference in my getting up from a sitting position and walking around. I have been seeing Dr. Prisk for 10 years. He put may ankle back together after a really bad break. I see him for all of my Orthopedic needs. He is currently helping me with some neck and shoulder issues after having 3 previous surgeries. If he can’t help you he will refer you to someone who will.

Took my 91 yr old dad here for issues with his foot. We were very pleased with the whole visit from start to finish. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Dana was great in getting dad his xrays. In walks Dr. Prisk...very personable and thorough with the exam! He took time to explain things to us. Great bedside manner.. It took a while, but he gave us 3 options to help dad. A cortisone shot, foot brace/support and suggested home therapy. The girl that fit dad with the foot support was nice and very helpful as well. I have been treating with Dr. Prisk for almost a year now, and I couldn't be any happier. he genuinely cares for his staff and patients. Dr. Prisk did both of my ankle surgeries, I couldn't be any more pleased then I am now. I was hurt at work last May, and was BLESSED to find Dr. Prisk in August. So, with workers comp, (this is my 1st ever experience with it) Comp does not pay for anything right off the bat. It is a long grueling process. I say this because Dr. Prisk continued to treat me even though he was not getting paid. I've had bad anxiety seeing him for my appointments because I knew that he hadn't been paid. But he never missed a beat, he continued with my treatments and appointments like nothing was wrong. Dr. Prisk, THANK YOU (saying it doesn't seem to be enough) for your wonderful care you've given me!! You have a wonderful combination of dedication, compassion , kindness, you're efficient and above all else, SELFLESS!! (I could go on and on). You are AMAZING and a great man! Absolutely! Ive had both knees reconstructed. Dr Prisk fixed a bad ankle injury with surgery. Ive been to his practice several times, and he starts every appointment with an MRI. Who does fhat?? Dr Prisk that's who! He's more knowledgeable with the human anatomy then most doctors, and will simplify the language until you understand, and will show you with photos as well. A very kind and courteous man, and he doesn't stop until he can resolve your situation. Go visit the man. Youll see for yourself. Do it soon before he's in high demand and you can't get an appointment. I'm privileged having him for a doctor.

At first I rated this as five stars, but then as treatment went on I realized it is not worth five stars. Dr. Prisk recommended surgery for my medical issues, which he completely misdiagnosed, and then had the audacity to write on his patient reports that I was the one PUSHING for surgery. This lie combined with the fact that other doctors couldn’t believe he didn’t do certain procedures/scans to immediately rule out exactly what he had diagnosed me with was appalling. The entire staff is AMAZING! Getting ready for my other ankle to be repaired and I can’t wait! The strength in the fist ankle is nothing I’ve ever known. I feel like the bionic woman. The practice is top notch with communication and service. I just love them❤️

I was referred to this practice through the insurance company that I was in a car accident. . Anyway I went for a appointment and the staff were nice and he has 2 adorable little dogs who follow him into each patients rooms. He made me feel at ease.i felt like I could talk to him .. I am in alot of pain and came out and asked him if I could please have some pain medication to get me help so I can at least move around and possibly get some sleep at night. I also mentioned that klonopin does work wonders for the pain I was on it for my severe panic attacks. And my anxiety issues that I have still especially because of the accident. He replied that he would help me and send a prescription to my pharmacy. He was very caring and a good listener.. When I got home I waited to see if I had my medication. It has been 2 weeks and I end up getting a device in the mail . To put shock things on the body and a neck and cervical retractor .. I can't even use this stuff unless I have pain meds

Professionalism, Valuable, Super Caring and Honest! I had to return to Dr. Prisk, after being wronged by another doctor. Dr. Prisk not only helped me, to be able to move my toes of right foot, again, He treated with up most respect as his patient, with attentive ear! Dr. Prisk heard me and didn't waste time getting me back on my feet. I'm still having burning numbness of my right foot. I feel if I wasn't force to see the W/C doc and medical care delayed, Dr Prisk would had me up and running! What a beautiful spirit and so caring! Dr.Prisk is a great doctor to fix your broken bones! He talks to you and shows you your x-rays ,CT scans,or mri pictures right in the office and explains everything easy to understand terms . Very genuine doctor! I had 2 surgeries ankle and elbow surgery he performed and was very impressed with his skills. My ankle cut is well done and scar is almost invisible . I just want to say thank you! His staff is always very helpful and nice no matter how many questions or calls I made. So if your looking for a good bone doctor and a great staff he is the doctor for you. He truly cares !

This was the worst doctor visit experience I have ever experienced. From a wait time of over 1.5 hours to a doctor leaving the room in the middle of a consult to take a phone call, dog running unattended in the office, misdiagnosis, double charging. From what I am hearing I am not alone in this experience. What a waste of time and money.

Had a great experience, especially after a wrong diagnosis from another doctor.

Dr. Prisk was my third doctor that I had seen trying to get pain relief after botched surgeries by Dr. Cherrie Cindric. I LOVE this man! He is knowledgeable and really takes his time with you. I only wish I had found him originally as I wouldn't be left with the problems I now have. I highly recommend him.

We have only been to the initial visit so far, but we will definitely be going back! First off the staff is wonderful!! No one that we had the pleasure of speaking with acted like they couldn’t wait for their day to be over and didn’t brush us iff. They were all so friendly and answered all our questions. Now to Dr. Prisk. He made us feel so comfortable and explained everything to us! He has many patients to be seen, but never once acted like he was in a hurry to get on with the next one. Dr. Prisk is a best in class doctor. I’ve had several consults on an old injury. Two other doctors were not able to figure out what the main issue causing the injury to act up. Dr. Prisk diagnosed and treated the injury quickly, and was able to refer me to a physical therapist within a day of the procedure. I continue to use his services to this day. I took my daughter to Dr. Prisk for a softball ankle injury and we could not have been happier! The time he took to work with her and to make sure she was ready to get back on the field was incomparable to any other ortho she's seen. After wrapping up my first year of amateur women’s bodybuilding, I was in desperate need of rehabilitation for knee, shoulder, and elbow issues that kept me from training at the start of my off-season. I was referred to Prisk Orthopedics and Wellness and I'm eternally grateful for the care and treatment I received from Dr. Victor Prisk. When I arrived in pain, he spent time getting to understand my injuries prior to creating a comprehensive plan for rehabilitation. I'm a college student that has battled rheumatoid arthritis in my ankle from the age of five. I've been to many specialists throughout my years, and Dr. Prisk is truly a doctor to rave about! He spent time reviewing my files and making sure he understood every aspect of my ankle! He was the first doctor to notice that one of my legs is shorter than the other and recommended an insert to even them out. This simple fix helped ease my everyday pain with walking! Dr. Prisk is the most arrogant doctor I've ever seen. He walked in to room and without even talking to me or looking at my X-rays tells me my problem. I started to tell him and show him what was going on, and he said he didn't need to see anything because it was something else (without even looking!). Maybe he's a real good Doctor but I would know. Dr. Prisk repaired our daughter’s ankle. He and his staff have been wonderful through it all. They have provided great care, detailed instructions and personal contact. They have taken the time to answer our questions, even one the night after surgery. The office was closed, but Dr. Prisk took that call himself! We had her post op visit yesterday. Ive had two surgeries with Dr. Prisk, The 1st was a reconstruction of my left leg after problem was mis-diagnosed & poorly treated by other drs. Dr. Prisk zeroed in on the prob quickly. The surgery was complex but he is highly skilled, very attentive, and explained everything in great detail. In 2014 I had a major break of my right ankle. It was repaired at my local hospital but really botched! Dr. Prisk reopened my ankle and repaired it 12/2017. Again, excellent care throughout!

Dr Prisk has a nice new office in Monroeville. Convenient off of the turnpike from Cranberry. He was attentive and thorough. He explained the surgery and alternatives. I was impressed by the detail he gave into the risks of surgery. I will have surgery with him soon.

Dr. Prisk is an excellent Orthopaedic Surgeon who truly cares about his patients. He worked with me and my other medical specialists to develop a treatment plan along with a good avenue of communication between everyone involved. He is always available when I have an issue (due to my diabetes and cardiac conditions). I hope this helps the reader to make a good decision to select Dr. Prisk for their Orthopaedic care!

Dr. Prisk was very impatient and would not give me the time to ask questions without cutting me off. When he would tell me something he didn't take the time to explain it, I would he was only in the room for 5 to 10 minutes at best. I'm Very unhappy with my visit. Best of luck to everyone else, maybe he was just having a bad day.

Dr. Prisk and staff are friendly, accommodating and very attentive to your needs. Explains in detail of condition, progress and what you need to do to continue to do to heal. Wish he and staff had the power to make healing quicker. I would definitely recommend to family/friends in fact already did.

Dr. Prisk was precise, timely, and to the point. My son has a few issues going on at the same time. Dr. prisk was very adept at diagnosing, getting testing ordered and completed, and getting us on our way.
