I have seen Dr. Chamberlain for 20+ years and she has always had time to discuss any health problems I might have. My daughter also sees her and we would both recommend Dr. Chamberlain for her expertise in the field and her warm, caring manner.

I had previously written a review about Dr. Placek as my husband and I were very impressed with her service and bedside manner. However, this time around is not the case. I dealt with two different doctors at this practice, who in my opinion, were heartless and rude. Their clinical skills lacked in some areas which generated a terrible ending. The first interaction I had was when I was 7 weeks pregnant. I was having abnormal discharge. They did an ultrasound and everything was OK in that moment. I was still concerned about the discharge but the doctor's didn't give me any cause to be concerned. The next day I called because it had progressed further. The one call doctor called me back and asked what I was experiencing. I had laid it all out on the table for her. Her response was "don't eat or drink in case we have to do a d&c tomorrow." That just turned my world upsidedown. She didn't know I was miscarrying or had any inclination that I was. Broke my heart. So my husband and I went to the ER where I unfortunately miscarried. Her non-sympathetic recommendation was highly unprofessional and felt very "shrugged off." The second interaction was when I went in 3 days later for a follow-up. They did the ultrasound and determined everything had cleared. We then proceeded to the nearest exam room to wait for the doctor. 20 minutes later, the doctor had come in smiling and laughing. I had obviously been crying because this had been a traumatic event for myself and my husband. The first words out of her mouth were "Why are you crying? I thought we had got over this anxious hump?" SHE DIDN'T EVEN REVIEW MY CHART BEFORE WALKING IN TO KNOW THAT I HAD MISCARRIED. I cannot express how negligent and improper her care was. Having a miscarriage is hard enough but to have a providing physician, who you entrusted your care in, made the end that much harder. The only positive thing I want to say about the office is the nursing staff. They are beyond friendly, kind and patient. I wound not recommend this practice to ANYONE. I’ve been a regular (not pregnancy) patient for a number of years. My every visit is a positive experience. Dr. Chamberlain is a caring and knowledgeable professional. Wonderful staff. I recommend their services.

It is unfortunate that I'm writing this review as there are several other great doctors in this practice group; this review is specifically about Dr. Vicki Chamberlain. Dr. Chamberlain was the most difficult doctor to deal with when I was going through a horrible time in our life. She has terrible bedside manner, minimized my issues, and was not interested in answering our questions. We objected to having a specific procedure done due to our religious beliefs, but during surgery, Dr. Chamberlain completed the procedure against my wishes. After, I was unaware it was completed until I received three medical bills relating to it. Upon calling her office, her medical billing director stated that they would need a letter from my religious leaders to that effect. To recap, I did not want this specific procedure completed, I was not informed that it would be completed, it was completed against my wishes, and now I'm required to disclose that I had this procedure completed to my religious leaders so that Dr. Chamberlain will write her corresponding letter to the other service providers? Yes, definitely makes sense. Definitely not recommending Dr. Chamberlain. Dr Jane Oh delivered both of my children via c section and I felt very comfortable and cared for throughout both pregnancies. She also saved my life LITERALLY when I had Uteral Atony and a d&c didn’t work. I owe my life to her!

This particular doctor has a horrible bed side manner. When I would go see the group of doctors, which there are some really good ones in this group, I would ask not to be scheduled with this doctor.

Dr. Jane Oh is caring, competent, and compassionate- a winning combination for a Gyne-OB. Her attention to patients and her willingness to explore non- invasive options is beneficial. I highly recommend her!

My mom has been seeing Dr. Chamberlain since she was 19 so when I needed a doctor she recommended Dr. Chamberlain. I have a complex medical condition after Brain cancer. Dr, C delivered and treated all of my mothers 3 children. She is a down to earth, knowlegeable, and compassionate doctor so I do not know where this one star reviews come from. My time with her was very different. I was able to get an appointment that worked with my schedule quickly and she listened to my concerns. Some of these reviews seem to talk about other doctors or a lady that could have been drug seeking. I would not liability of seeing someone that wanted drugs that could affect a baby negatively. Absolutely terrible. Worst doctors period!! I am at risk of miscarriage because they lied and said they could help me manage pain during pregnancy due to the disintegration of my left shoulder, since the shoulder replacement I desperately needed couldn't be accomplished until after the birth.. They lied, I recieved a call the day I was supposed to receive my next prescription of hydrocodone and was told they no longer will treat me because I'm high risk. Now I'm at risk of miscarrying due to withdrawal. Mind you I took myself of large amounts of oxycontin to settle for a few Norcos here and there. Considering everyone (Illinois bone and joint institute and rush) assumes I'm suffering from bone cancer I found it appalling as well as my orthopedic and cancer specialists that these doctors refused me medication that they promised to my other physicians they would prescribe, and have now put me at serious risk. If I do end up miscarrying I will be talking SERIOUS legal action against this facility. I'm advised by my lawyer to pursue action now for pain and suffering since I can't find appointments for medication anywhere that isn't in a month or two. Don't go here if you want yup be mistreated and lied to. Absolutely terrible. Worst doctors period!! We had extremely great experience with Dr. Vicki Chamberlain, She is having a great personality. She is a compassionate doctor and we're very impressed with her expertise.I must say she understands her patient very well that at some point of time, you would feel like she is one of your family members. All in all the best doctor, I've had in years! Very knowledgeable, confident, soft- spoken. Love her !! The rest of Dr. Vicki Chamberlain's staff are also great, professional & always very helpful.
