Friendly staff, thorough exam

Excellent… she listened to my concerns, is more conservative with medications, and I feel like I have a team member that understands me and the multiple facets of my health!

Very friendly doctor and staff. Informed me of what they were going to be doing and proceeded.

Dr Vera, Dustin, and Kristy always exemplify the meaning of kind. I have not been seen in person in a while but came back today and was treated like a friend, not a patient. When one truly wants to know how you are doing (not for the job) but just to be inquisitive and take the extra time to care on you it means a lot. I believe that medicine needs to take a page on her practice from start to back on how patients need to be treated, then and only then would patients feel like they are more than a number.

Dr. Huffnagle was very thorough, professional, friendly and explained everything in terms easy to understand. Her nurse was also very good. If I need to be seen by neurology again I will ask for Dr. Huffnagle.

She was very nice and took the time to explain how the procedures would go. Told to let her know if was too much and she would stop right then. Great Dr. 5 stars.

The staff was very nice and helpful and they answered all my questions and concerns and it's the best doctor office I've ever been too and the doctor was even better

Dr Vera is very thorough and informative and spends time with her patients. Would recommend her to anyone needing to see a neurologist.

Very friendly staff. I've never had to wait long for my appointment. Dr. Huffnagle is very concerned about my care and works with me on medicine changes as required. Her nurse is great and makes me feel at ease at every visit.

I was covered under these guys for years until my insurance changed. I've been having a hard time finding a neurologist under my new insurance, but Kristy, the woman that makes appointments worked hard to find me a doctor that could help me. I've been working 6 days a week so it was amazing to hear that she's been digging because I can assure you looking at the back of my insurance card and finding a doctor wasn't an easy task. Was being expected for my appointment, and was taken right in. Waited a few minutes for the initial BP and Heart rate. Not long after Dr. Huffnagle came in and the appointment was on its way. She is very keen on keeping you updated on your condition and anything new she has found to let you know if there are any other avenues to take. If you have any input, she is open on hearing you out. I would highly recommend her as a first line neurologist for anyone looking for one. Was being expected for my appointment, and was taken right in. Dr Huffnagle is a treasure. She knows how to talk to me and is genuinely interested in what it happening to me. She's a lot like Dr. Anna, and that's high praise indeed. Only, I wish she would stop calling me "Sir". I mean, I know, it's genteel and all, but it makes me feel so OLD. ;+)

I accompanied my husband Allen Nichols for his checkup. The receptionist Christi, was friendly and professional. Nurse, Dusty, did her exam and tests with confidence and patience. She made Allen feel comfortable. She was careful to wipe the utensils she used after each use and washed her hands after she finished. As much as I like Dr. Vera and her staff, I had to wait 2 hours just to be told my EEG showed no results.

Great doctor! Very caring of each patient and truly listens. That's a great trait for a doctor. I'm blessed to have her as my doctor. And the rest of the staff, Dustin and Kristy are just as wonderful as Dr. Huffnagle. It's a first class place all around!

I love Dr.Huffnagle & the staff ....myself & family members have went to her for yrs...I wouldn't trade her for anything....she gets straight to the point....

The waiting to see the doctor is crazy but the doctor herself and staff are all so nice!

Professional, Thorough, and compassionate great staff, great bedside manner, answers questions. Couldn’t ask for better care. She does run bloodwork and any necessary tests but doesn’t leave anything to question or guess at. It seems If you find a great Dr the staff lacks or vice versa both work well in this office.

Never seen the Dr cause her staff was so rude, my son was referred to her after having a concussion and when I called to make his appointment the lady that answered the phone very rude and loudly told me “that they have told the ER multiple times to stop referring patients they had to many already” that is not something you say to a patient or their family that is something they should handle with the ER without being so rude to patients! I am in the medical field and I couldn't believe how rude and unhelpful Dr. Huffnagle was. She absolutely refused to answer my questions. First, she said to wait until she'd finished the exam and, after the exam was finished, she said that she'd answer my questions after she got the lab and x-ray results. She spent no more than 15 minutes with me and kept implying by my reflex results that something was horribly wrong with me. When the lab and x-ray results came back, she refused to speak with me on the phone. Her nurse, Dustin (who was very sweet) said that Dr. Huffnagle doesn't speak to clients on the phone. I've never heard of something so bizarre. So she wouldn't answer my questions in the exam room and she wouldn't answer my questions afterward my lab and x-rays came back. What added insult to injury was her office visit was $488 and I had to pay $288 of that. I never got any resolution to my issue. I think it's horrible that the Dickson Medical Associates have their doctors refer to her. I was referred to her by Dr. Szczuka who's with the DMA. I would never ever recommend that someone go to her. It's impossible to tell if she's knowledgable because she's a horrible communicator. Please don't risk your well-being on this doctor. Dr. Huffnagle is wonderful! After visiting multiple doctors, I decided to drive over an hour to see her. She did tests, diagnosed me and treated me. I got part of my life back. Dr. Vera Huffnagle has been my Physician for many years now, and I love her. She has done everything in her power to help my medical condition. She is one of the best Physicians in her field, and her staff... are all professional and warm individuals. I would highly recommend Dr. Huffnagle.

Doctor Vera Huffnagle is very professional and compassionate. My husband has had neck surgery and has dealt with back problems for years. Being referred to her was a breath of fresh air. She answers all your questions in a way that you can understand and takes the time with her patients that they need. You don't feel rushed or pushed out of the way. We actually miss going to see her and her staff. The front desk is excellent, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

She wrongfully diagnosed me with an extremely rare, childhood birth defect. It was a greatly stressful time and of course, she was 100% incorrect. I incurred this undue stress and was forced to see a Neurosurgeon to get a correct diagnosis. At least now I know. Dr. Huffnagle had me thinking (at the very least) I would need surgery- not at all. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy!! Awful Dr. Look elsewhere if you value your health and sanity. She wrongfully diagnosed me with an extremely rare, childhood birth defect.
