Dr. Vanni C. Manthiram

Dr Manthiram may be a qualified surgeon but I found her to be among the most incompetent. I typically do not bother to review or share feedback but my experience with her was so compelling that I had to share. I got sick over the weekend so her locum covered and did my surgery / appendectomy. My appendix ruptured and the covering physician had to add a drain. The day after surgery Dr Manthiram came at sound 2 pm to follow up. Of course I was going to have some questions but she said well I did do the surgery so I didn’t know - I asked her if she could look at the ct and she said what’s the point it’s already taken place now. I asked her how to manage the drain and she said oh you have a drain ? And then opened the binder that I had for support - looked at it and left everything just open and awkward. She asked me how many days I waited in pain I told her about 4-5 and she just commented you waited too long. I told her I thought it was a uti or kidney stone and told her my father who too is a physician after hearing my symptoms she said what kind of a physician is he? She was super unprofessional and I highly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Dr Manthiram came in post surgery (her weekend locum came in to help me as I got sick on the weekend) and she knew nothing about my case and had terrible bedside manners - one could deal with the rudeness even if she had bothered to look at my files - when I asked her if she looked at the ct before surgery she said what the point - it’s already done but as a patient one does want to know what happened.

Her husband was arrested for using another doctor's license to operate a pill mill. Dr. Vanni Manithram is complicit. Boycott this FRAUDSTER.

Does not possess skills and experience as a surgeon. Her partner seems to be more mature, who had to help out in my father's gall bladder surgery.
