A very thorough doctor that takes time to listen. Very caring and never in a rush.

My appointment with Dr. Malia is ALWAYS rewarding and he goes to great length's to make sure that my needs are met. I have never been happier with the Healthcare that I receive at APM.

I do not care for his practice at all. His PA said he has to many patients. I would never recommend him!

I have the best Nurse and Doctor. They treat me like family

Dr. Van Malia really listens to me and responds to my increased pain level by adjusting my medication accordingly. He is always very personable and understanding of my situation.

After my first visit, I can say that I was impressed with the professionalism shown by Dr Malia and his staff. I really liked Dr Malia because he knew about the pain my 2 major back surgeries is causing me and because he listened to me. I have had 2 other pain management experiences in the past to deal with a similar surgery on my cervical / neck area. 1 in Maryland and 1 in Ohio. Those experiences were so bad that I stopped going after the first visit. I really appreciate not feeling like a criminal like I did in those other visits. My next appointment with Dr Malia is in August and I am actually looking forward to it. I would give a 5 star rating if I didn't have such a long wait. Dr.Malia is a People person Dr. He takes his time & listens to what you say then he advises accordingly. Highly recommended!

My first visit was good so far, Dr Malia was very personable and informative.

Dr. Malia really listens to you and gives great suggestions to help with your pain. During a procedure he explains everything he is doing extremely well.

Doc. Van, has taken care of my back, for years. In my opinion he is the best. He has never hurt me. I have had a ruff time with my back. He has always done what was necessary to fix it.

Dr Malia took the time to explain why I was having my pain issues and also the plan to alleviate some of the pain. Very satisfied with my initial visit.

I have never ever heard of or seen a doctor with the compassion of Dr. Malia! He is so understanding of my issues and he listens and hears me when I say “I’m in pain” with no judgment or accusatory looks! I fought for years for the Veterans I served to have a doctor such as Dr. Malia, a man who truly cares! He works hard to find solutions and alternatives to cutting me again and again! Excellent Doctor that will take the time to find out what is wrong with you and come up with a way to treat it. DR. Dr. Malia is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. He’s incredibly patient, kind, helpful, and listens to my needs. He’s so compassionate and always tries to find a way to make things better. I could not be happier with him as my pain management doctor.

Dr. Malia is the kindest most understanding physician I’ve ever been to. He has options to help me with my chronic pain that are helpful. He is understanding when things are worse than usual. I highly recommend him. His staff was very friendly.

Dr. Malia is excellent when it comes to pain management and he is one of the nicest people I've ever met . He is very caring and professional and does his best to make you very comfortable during procedures . I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor and The treatments he provides have been extremely helpful in reducing or eliminating my pain.
