Valery D Tarasenko

This doctor is an angry and abusive man. He refuse to allow me to speak to him about my condition. He would not confirm that he read my chart from the previous clinic and I know he did not because he could not comment on my previous treatment. He sat alone with me and scolded me and told me my attempting to explain my concern was a symptom of Fibromyalgia. He also told me that there are many people with much worse MRI results that do not have pain. He did not look at my MRI results because he could not tell me what the prognosis was. IT gets much worse from here. He stood up and walked behind me and grabbed very hard behind my hip and forced me to bend backward. He did not warn me he was going to touch me. He proceeded to do the same to both hips and shoulders and when I asked him what he was doing he did the same to my knees and told me "You have Fibromyalgia." By that time I was in tears. He led me into a room where a male X-ray tech was and who handed me a tissue to wipe my nose and eyes. He told me to stop crying or I will hyperventilate. After when I asked him about my medication refill he yelled at me and asked me who was prescribing me "that poison" and when I told him he was he told me he was going to decrease the medication. He asked me ho much was I taking and I told him 3 times a day as RX and he yelled at me and told me not to take it as it is Rx and only take a half after I can no longer stand the pain. THE ENTIRE TIME THERE WAS NO FEMALE MA PRESENT AND THERE WERE AT LEAST 6 OF THEM IN THE OFFICE AT THE TIME. I have submitted a complaint he should not be allowed to practice on anyone. Refused to prescribe opioids.

Was a patient her for years was sent to a surgeon and told didn't need any of what he has been doing for years have not been back in almost a year

I have brought my father twice already, its a 2 hour drive each way and everytime its at least a 1.5 hour wait for them to treat him, meanwhile i see 2 other people that got here 10 minutes after us already been seen and left, rhis is ridiculous if i can give 0 stars i would...

It took a few times to hit the right spot, but when Dr Tarasenko hit the spot, my pain decreased immensely! I was able to resume most of my normal functions with out pain.

Dr. T as we call him, is an excellent doctor who truly cares about his patience. That's why I can't stop going to see him.

Awesome place for treatment, doctor Tarasenko is very respectful, professional and truly cares for me as a person and my needs. The office staff is very welcoming and they will climb mountains to help in any situation that may arise. Ever sense receiving treatment from this office, my life has greatly improved for the best.

I had high hopes he could help my condition , but after several visits it is my personal belief he made it worse through his questionable practices .

He appears to not check medical background before he does procedure and or gives out medication. He does ask about medical conditions but does not ask for the actual conditions from the primary care doctor, does not prior X rays ?? appears to be set on HIS only few ideas and proceeds without substantial concrete bloodd work or evidence of medical conditions ...in other words ...find this rather risky but it's up to paitnets to decide if they want to just "let he do whatever" He appears to not check medical background before he does procedure and or gives out medication. Saw him years ago. Did wonders for my back. Saw him 9 years later and this man is the most rudest person seeing him again. I said hi it’s been nine years. His first word out of his month was yes. You missed all your past appointments. I had thought he lost his mind. Because I never missed any appointment at the most maybe one. Then he touches me around and says who told you you had fibromyalgia? He is very insulting. By the fourth time he accused me of interrupting I was done. A doctor should listen to the patient and want to know more to the story. I was there for pain from knee replacement and back hurting from car accident. When he tried to say I had ADD and ADD and interrupting were systems of fibromyalgia, I said was out of there. I have a right to talk. He controls the conversation and doesn't want to know anything about you or your situation. Maybe he needs listen. I didn't deserve this kind of a day. I walk out before appointment was over. In my whole life I have never done that. Neither have I been to any of my Dr. ever just complaining of pain. I broke my back 5 yrs go, now car accident, and the knee replacement. I felt demeanored as a women and I have a right to interject, or talk. its not a one-way conversation. Or maybe to him it is. To be told you interrupt or aren't capable of listening is disrespectful. My Dr's have known me for years, not one has ever said that to me. I'm 67 and it hasn't been easy this last 16 months. 4 stars only because i've seen him one time and that was yesterday. He had several individuals speak with me before he came into the room and when he did he seemed to have a handle on my background. He did an exam, spoke with me, was straightforward with the fact that he will deal with each issue I have individually as not everything could be resolved immediately and provided some temporary relief for one of my problems and is going to further help me with a treatment plan. I found him to be so very honest as he didn't try to make me 'feel' better or bad with his findings he actually made me feel very good that I went to him for help. I would recommend Dr. T for chronic pain he is very knowledgable ! by the way i hardly write reviews i just don't have the energy but after my visit i have the energy to do alot and one of those things was being able to get out of bed this morning feeling very good! also - his office staff are amazing!!! 4 stars only because i've seen him one time and that was yesterday. Since birth I have a back condition that caused me constant pain 24/7 but I grew to live with. It wasn't until I had open heart surgery that caused my back pain to skyrocket. I visited my PCP Dr Zhu. He referred me to Dr. Tarasenko. There are Pain specialist closer but If Dr Zhu recommended Dr Tarasenko that was good enough for me and boy was he right. I have been seeing Dr Tarasenko for some time now and he listens to me and my condition. Will I ever live pain free with back pain, No. But I feel I'm much better now and will continue to due so. And I have Dr Tarasenko to thank for this. And lets not forget the team for professional nurses and sfaff that know me by first name making me feel like family. Overall, this Doctor is outstanding and has helped me in various and critical conditions..! He is extremely professional and has excellent bed side manners..! He's helped me through tough times..!! I was in extremely difficult pain and Dr. T helped with relief of the pain in various parts of my body..! I've been a patient of his for over 10 plus years and he's been very supportive and helpful in my pain management goals..????. He's the type of Doctor who goes way out of his way to try all alternative therapies or treatments before even giving opiates or narcotics.!! It's refreshing to have a doctor who is willing to try all alternatives treatments before prescribing any medications..! Dr T is one of the best Drs I have seen about my back he believes in taking care of patients and not just medicate them.

There are times I'm frustrated because insurance companies only allow him to do so much. I think he is a great doctor with lots of talent . The office staffing is well organized, polite and caring . It's very unfortunate he's only allowed to do what insurance companies allow him to do. Great doctor in a B.S. system. Biggest thing I don't like is I have lots of injuries and he only looks at one at a time. Again it's to insurance companies not allowing him to do a complete job.
