EXTREMELY DETAILED AND INFORMED OF MY MEDICAL HISTORIES AND CONDITIONS. VERY DIRECT AND TO THE POINT ON WHAT I NEED TO DO AND WHATS NEEDED TO IMPROVE MY CONDITION. ROUTINELY STAYS UP TO DATE AND IN CONTACT TO MONITOR MY IMPROVEMENT. A VERY NO NON-SENSE, DO HER BEST TO ASSIST YOU DOCTOR.

I have seen her a few times at the VAMC in Indy. She is outwardly friendly but i get a feeling of her being a dominant person over whatever opinion or need you bring up. she makes me feel i need to work for her, as opposed to her working for me, which, as a veteran, is what i feel the VA is supposed to do. None of the previous three other Doctors/NP's were like her. its just like butting heads with someone and very uncomfortable.

Dr S. is interested in saving the hospital she works for, money. not for your best care. if you bring up prescriptions you need to refill at the start of your visit she will complanin that she is not there just to write prescriptions. if you have a health problem that was handled outside of the VA where she works she will complain of you not informing her. it all about her, not about you. This is the VA where is always needs to be about the patient!
