Terrible service, would never do it again

As an RN, I am very disappointed. This provider kept saying she didn’t have good internet connection and asking if she could make a phone call instead. Then, she would call and make the appointment two minutes maximum. Overall, poor beside manner, expensive, awful plan or care and lack of empathy by this provider. Avoid at all costs!

Decent providers but it is so hard to get an appointment in a timely manner.

Everyone is kind and considerate here. Very professional and no problems with scheduling ect

I always find Dr. Ramineni pleasant, and easy to share my concerns. I especially like the ease and convenience of the Telehealth appointments that enable medication refills without having to drive to see her.

Dr Ramineni is wonderful! She makes each appointment as painless as possible. Makes sure to cover any questions and concerns I may have. Also, helps that she has a calm to her voice, makes for a welcome experience.

Dr. Ramineni is a complete fraud. We booked our appointment for our daughter, we were sent a link for the online appointment, logged in 15 minutes early to a patient portal and no one showed for the session. we called the office number and were told we would get a call back in 15 minutes to assist us with the online seesion. No call, no assistance, then we get a $100 bill for a no show appointment. Called today, and was told Dr. ramineni will not reverse the charge and was hung up on. Stay away from her, called her about an emergency situation on Tuesday, receptionist got back on Wednesday afternoon(!), said doctor will call. Week later, no callback. Every appt she did was like it was the first. She either makes no notes or doesn't read them before appts. Zero care.

I have been seeing Dr. Ramineni for many years, and I am so glad to have her. She truly cares and listens to everything I need to share. She is so kind and I am very lucky to see her. Late, rude. Her office is a provider for my insurance and it seems they've gone down hill fast. Asks questions as if she were reading a script, doesn't actually seem to think or be personable. Wants to treat people like a textbook case and ship them off elsewhere.

Appt was ok. Directions to connect to the telemed appointment were not clear. I thought it was through the patient portal but it was not. My husband had to help me and I’m a professional who does tele med appointments at work . It really should not have been so hard.

Dr. Ramineni is amazing. My experience with the front desk was horrid. So.. I had to give it a 4.

Dr . Ramineni really takes her time to listen and treat her patients.

Absolutely horrible I had her for 3 years and she said I had to find a new provider because she didn't want to help me anymore. Did not ween me off my medication and never spent more than 5 minutes per session. Do not visit Usha Ramineni if you want to improve your mental wellbeing. So rude and unprofessional.

Professional, thorough, and caring. I recommend this Psychiatrist.

Very polite and takes the time to understand her patient before sharing medication. She makes you well aware of the pros and cons of each medicine she recommends!

She should be sued for malpractice. I might take up the case myself. A pill pusher to the max and NOT very willing to work with tricare insurance. She’d literally shut down when I’d break down in tears telling her the pills weren’t working and she would just up my dose! And my brother! Extremely rude, non empathetic and seemingly hates her job but loves the money. PARENTS BE WARNED. If you are bringing your child here and all she prescribes them is adderall/wellbutrin. RUN. Had two other psychiatrists tell me i have bipolar disorder and that those two in combination were detrimental to mood stability. They diagnosed me bipolar real quick off of a questionaire and asking me many questions.. what do you know they actually took into account what the patient had to say! Unlike Usha.. A money hungry, cheap excuse of a psychiatrist. Only interested about money, not someones actual well being. A real piece of you know what. I received a call from her office servant stating that they do not take my insurance even though it was stated. She makes her servants do her dirty work. If I could give 0 stars or better yet a negative 100 stars I would. Be aware. She has good ratings on Zocdoc, but very, very low ratings on Vitals, and very, very low ratings on WedMD Physician Directory. All she cares about is pushing pills monthly. She gives no refills and requires an appointment to request a new months prescription. She’s pretty good.

She has been nothing but patient and caring to me. Upon first visit I wasn’t too sure, but I’m very thankful I stuck with her. She has given me my life back.

Do not go here they do not care about anything except your money. The office literally cancelled 3 appointments because they booked wrong and tried to make me pay for it as a cancellation. Dr. Usha refused to refill a non controlled substance I have been on for several years because of these false cancelations caused by her office and thus I ended up in the hospital. Never in my life have I felt so wronged by a Office. I literally had to have a sit down with the office staff and the Dr. in which they had to apologize but they did it again. Do not visit this lady. She isn't a care provider, she is a pill pusher and a thief. I have been on antidepressants for 15 years, my insurance changed and I ended up with Usha. She will only give me a 1 month supply at a time of the medication I have been on for 10 years. She literally just wants to collect the money from me visiting monthly to get refills. She know NOTHING about self care or coping skills and actually said, "I will be honest, I dont know how the day programs work..." WHAT!? She is terrible. If you care about your mental health DO NOT VISIT THIS DOCTOR. She has no empathy, is extremely rude, and only cares about money. I have never left a psychiatrist actually feeling worse about myself until I met her. If you are assigned to this woman do yourself a favor and switch to literally ANY other person. Appointments start 20-30 mins after the scheduled time and when you walk in she acts like it’s the first time she has ever met you, she can’t be bothered to remember a single thing about you or show any type of compassion. When it comes to medications, she will put you on whatever makes her the most money and only gives you 1 month prescriptions so you are forced to pay her and visit her more than what is necessary. I’ve never had such an awful experience with a doctor and have no idea why she is still allowed to practice this profession. Psycare needs to do something about this, her level of care is unacceptable. On top of this, the receptionists treat you like trash and roll their eyes at you if you express any concern. Dr. Usha Ramineni failed to return calls from me when requesting a simple referral. 3 calls and zero response.

She is unprofessional and unethical. She was treating my family member for many years. When my family member had a bad relapse Dr. Ramineni would not return my calls for an emergency appointment albeit I had a signed Authorization on file to speak with her. When we finally went to the appointment, Dr. Ramineni still refused to speak with the family and threatened us at the appointment she would have my family member in handcuffs and chains and put in the county mental hospital if we continued talking to her. She has mental issues of her own and should not be practicing psychiatry. She needs her medical license taken away. She is unprofessional and unethical. Dr Raminini is one of the best and kindest psychiatrist I have ever worked with. She is generally interested in the person as a whole versus someone she prescribes medication.

On my first and only visit, she spoke to me for 15 minutes before telling me that I had to go to the ER to be evaluated. In 15 minutes she made the diagnosis and determination that I was a danger to myself and others. I thought you were supposed to honest with your psychiatrist and talk about your feelings. I left her office in tears feeling worse. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor in my life! Do Not see her or take your loved ones to see her. Front desk staff was rude.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PERSON! If I could give her an infinite negative rating I would. She took my daughter off her current medication [NO WEENING OFF MIND YOU] and gave her a cocktail of drugs causing my daughter to experience disastrous side effects. Whatever went wrong, it was our fault. Her attitude is that she is always right and if you try to tell her she is wrong, she will laugh at you and tell you to find someone else to help your child. What a complete joke.

Unresponsive to patient's needs. I question her abilities as a psychiatrist and wonder how she was licensed.

Very rude psychiatrist. Not willing to help my wife and did not want to take tricare insurance. Then after being confronted about how rude she was all she said was well this is my last time seeing you then.

She is friendly and good with children. She takes time to listen. She answers questions quickly about medication. It's easy to get an appointment with her if there is an adverse reaction to the medicine. You are never waiting in the waiting room long to be seen.
