very abrupt, did not explain well, was assigned in hospital

I was assigned this physician at a local hospital after being admitted by Emergency Services. I was NPO for 3 days, not pleasant when water isn't even allowed. A bladder stent was finally implanted on day 4. The stent was inserted too far into the kidney area. Kidney spasms sucked it further into the kidney making the final removal difficult and very painful. He never appeared to explain anything after the procedure and a follow up visit to his office resulted in me being seen only by their ARNP, who was unable to answer questions and do much of anything other than shuffle file papers and write additional prescriptions. Not an impressive experience.

He was assigned to me in a local hospital. Kept me npo for 2 days until he finally showed up for the procedure. Then he threatened me with security and blocked the exit of the operating room while waiting for support staff to show up to begin the procedure. After several hours, someone heard me yelling and I was allowed to leave. I refused further treatment from this doctor. I must add that he said he was sorry and asked for another chance.
