Dr. Ulyana Petrovna Stiassny

I live on the Kenai Peninsula had to go to anchorage to find someone who really cares and Dr. Stiassny does. She doesn't just thro a pascription at you and send you on your way she find the cause and cure.

Dr Stiassny takes the time to listen and works collaboratively with me on my health issues. I feel confident in her knowledge and her ability to care for me in a comprehensive way. She refers me to a specialist when she feels that it is appropriate and in my best interests. I am comfortable at her current office and transfered with her to this location because of my confidence in her.

I called Family medical asymptomatic with a positive Covid test and was told that monoclonal antibodies were too expensive (they are free). A week later when I called symptomatic it took several days for them to return my call and then I was told monoclonal antibodies were out of the window, and no therapeutics offered, just general advice to go to the ER with everybody else if my symptoms get worse. Terrible advise, incorrect information, lack of care, and poor response it took several days for the office to get back to me when I started to experience symptoms several messages left with the office. I manage my own healthcare and don’t plan on ever using family medical or Dr. Stiassny again. I had been a patient for years and the level of care went down significantly when Dr. Stassney transferred to family medical

Dr. Stiassny has been my PCP for years. She has dealt with several issues I've gone through and in my case always researched the best way to handle any issues I've had whether it be my MS or bariatric issues. She always listens and truly cares about her patients. I will follow her wherever she goes!

I am a doctor myself, but I chose Dr. Stiassny as my own personal physician. She is compassionate, kind and very smart. Dr. Stiassny takes time and truly listens to her patients. I routinely send my patients to her when they need a family physician. We are lucky to have her here in Alaska!

I chose Dr Stiassny as my primary care physician based upon a recommendation from another physician associated with her clinic. The recommendation has proven to be excellent. Dr Stiassny listens intently as I often try to describe symptoms that are vague and/or elusive. Her diagnosis and recommendations have been perfect. I especially like the fact that she occasionally suggests alternative and/or holistic treatments. She reaches conclusions based upon everything you tell her.
