Dr. Cobb is an excellent physician, he never seems rushed and takes time to break down anything complicated. The office staff is also wonderful and friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr Cobb for over 5 years and I can say he is very good at what he does. He has performed surgeries on both of my shoulders and I am so much better . This is a big Shout Out to Dr Cobb he is the best thanks very much .

I had bicep tenodesis surgery on 5/5/2022. I’ve had chronic shoulder pain for years since 2018 and I finally found someone I could trust to help me. Dr. Cobb and and the staff have been amazing since day one. They made me feel comfortable and showed me such compassion, as I was so anxious and scared to have my first surgery ever! I am not going to lie, recovery was so painful for me for the first few weeks as is with any surgery, but after my 4 week I feel 75% which it’s incredible. I am filled with emotion when I think about how far I have come. I want to thank you guys for giving me my life back. For anyone thinking about having shoulder surgery I can say from experience that I would’ve not done it with any other Doctor and that your results will also be amazing as long as you follow Dr’s directions along with the awesome Physical therapist whom they recommend. When I did ask the technical, he was very confident, knowledgeable, and straight forward with answers. Our family has been seeing Dr. Cobb over the past 5 years for many sports injuries. Dr. Cobb is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and explains clearly what our treatment options are. Dr. Cobb and his office are first rate. Not only are they very focused on patient care, but all of the service elements, the comfort of the waiting room, the speed by which they take patients, and the general positive attitude of the staff really set this practice apart.

I had little difficulty in moving my left wrist so I needed a good orthopedic surgeon and Dr. Tyson Cobb did wonders to my wrist.

My left wrist is 100 percent better than my right wrist that was repaired by fusing the wrist with screws. The arthroscopic procedure was relatively painless and the recovery period time minimal.

I went to Dr. Cobb to get a forearm fasciotomy performed for motorcycle racing. The whole process was great, scheduled extremely fast, flew in on a Monday, stayed at a nearby hotel, Tuesday got the surgery and Wednesday flew out after Dr. Cobb did a follow up. Facilities were extremely clean and staff were very nice. Least invasive and most painless surgery I’ve had, was able to use both my arms normally after only two to three days.

My experience with Dr. Tyson Cobb and his staff at his new location has been Marvelous. This new group mesh well together, and they are all there to provide the best service ever to their patients. My last surgery was on August 14th I believe and my hand had been experiencing pain for (13) years if not more and Dr. Tyson Cobb discovered it had a ganglion cyst in it and now that he has removed it and the foreign object that was in my hand it hasn't felt this good in years. He performed surgery on my wrist. And there is pain in places that weren’t there before surgery. I feel worse than before having the surgery. I wish I had gone to different surgeon.

Dr Cobb did an ulnar nerve repair as well as the removal of a cyst on my husband’s wrist. My husband went through a surgical infection and had to go to another doctor to re-preform the surgery. That doctor stated the procedure wasn’t done correctly the first time. When in office about the elbow they said they were to give him a cortisone shot. When the nurse came in she was told the shot was to be in the wrist. We were confused since the wrist wasn’t an issue. We asked to speak with him about the why and were yelled at that he knew what he was doing. My husband refused the shot but we were still charged the $400 for it that insurance didn’t cover. This is when he went to Iowa City to another specialist who had to re-preform the surgery.

i got number online ,made appt. went to davenport 45 min.away.. and they tell me doc is in clinton on tues.and my appt was for clinton not davenport .. lady on phone making appts messed up and i wasted my time and wasted my gas and never got to see this doc.i had called the davenport number so why didnt she tell me doc in a different town on that day and she scheduled me there?? i was pissed..and i still have problem with my hand.. thanks lady ..learn to do your job right ..dang have no idea if this doc is good or not beings i didnt get to see him the 1 star is for the service i recieved at davenport and on phone making appt...

Dr. Cobb is the worst doctor I have ever seen . He was rude, short, mean and uncaring . I saw him for a hand injury and he insisted I needed surgery . When I asked relevant questions regarding the injury and surgery he got mad and yelled at me and belittled me . I just wanted to understand clearly what was going to happen and asked questions he had not covered with me . There was even a nursing assistant in the room when he yelled at me and she felt so bad for me .

I came to Dr. Cobb with 3 terribly broken metacarpals and he did an excellent job fixing them. Thanks Dr. Cobb!

I had a good experience here with Dr. Cobb. He was detailed and didn’t beat around the bush with any diagnosis or surgery options and pros and cons against those surgery’s. He showed genuine care with my progression and didn’t let me quit when I wanted to; he always encouraged me to go one step further.

Very rude diagnosis. Took months to figure out what was wrong after telling him exactly what hurt. He was milking the insurance company for extra appointments. I eventually got the surgery

I had ruptured my right bicep tendon and have a friend who had the same injury. He referred me to Dr. Cobb and I could not have been more pleased with the expert level of service that I received at Orthopaedic Specialists. dr. cobb is an amazing surgeon. I had carpel tunnel release procedure done on both hands within a week of each other. My surgery pain was minimal. My recovery time was fast. He called personally both times to see how I was doing. The surgery center was amazing as well. I have never had such a great experience with surgery or hospitals.I feel he is definitely the best surgeon and I couldn't be happier with my results. Thank you!
