Dr. Tyler O'Neal Kirby

Dr. Kirby and his staff are top notch. A cancer diagnosis is a scary thing, but when you have a knowledgeable and caring team it can make all the difference. I have been through three surgeries/procedures with Dr. Kirby and I can't imagine a better doctor and surgeon exist. I'm so glad God led me to Huntsville Hospital's TVGO for treatment. I still have a little ways to go but I'm confident there's no better team to be in the journey with. Thank you to every staff member that I've talked to or had care for me!

I am 4 years out from my hysterectomy for endometrial cancer and start of chemo. When Dr. Kirby wasn't comfortable doing my surgery due my complex surgeries when a Hsv Hospital trauma patient, he sent me to the UAB Women and Infants Center. Dr. Kirby & staff treat his patients with respect and dignity, discusses issues in detail, does not rush you in and out when it's your turn, will argue his point if you have differing opinions. Very caring. Flexible. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kirby is absolutely the best. He is caring, shows compassion and just an overall wonderful person. I had my surgery in 2020 and we moved from Alabama to Illinois in 2021 so I had to depart ways with Dr. Kirby. Wish I could find me another Dr. Kirby but they are few and far between. Always made me feel comfortable and his staff was as sweet as they could be. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Dr Kirby is very patient , kind, and informative and answered all questions. He’s very direct with answers which I like .

I had my procedure done on December 22, 2021 with the help of Dr. Kirby and his staffs. They did an awesome job and really took the time to take care of me. I am so glad his nurse practitioner Mrs. Maddry did not send me home because matters could have got worse. Thank you God for allowing them in my life.

Dr. Kirby was professional and caring. He explained everything to me about my procedure clearly and answered my questions. I was impressed with him and his staff. I would highly recommend him.

I went to Dr Kirby on a referral from Huntsville Hospital and because my issue was so pressing, they got me in the next day and my surgery was scheduled the following week. Dr Kirby is the best at what he does and he is an amazing surgeon. I felt dismissed, talked over constantly, and I left without any help. I was referred for a possibility of gyno issues that might possibly require exploratory or diagnostic surgery but once he saw that I had a history of anxiety in my chart then suddenly I was the irrational one and refused to listen to a word I said.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2014. Dr Kirby and his staff were amazing to work with. I, unlike many patients, did not have to go thru chemo and radiation. I received a complete hysterectomy and continue to see Dr Kirby or the wonderful NP's for my yearly follow up. I just want to say, from the very first moment I met Dr. Kirby, he has been courteous, kind and caring. I’ve never felt more comfortable with a doctor before. Every doctor and nurse I have met since undergoing surgery, and now treatment for cancer has spoken so highly of him and I 100% agree. He has efficiently handled every issue I have had since he took me on as a patient. I never realized how poorly my previous doctors in Maryland had treated me until I had a Dr who actually listened to my concerns and actually did something about them. When I had my radical Hysterectomy, Dr. Kirby did such an amazing job on the incision that I can Barely even see the scar a mere 12 weeks later. I’m so grateful for him. My friend had this "doctor"he was crude and insulting. His exams were painful and without tact. He inverts his patients in surgery, for his convenience, causing more pain to the patient. Total lack of respect. Has serious god complex!

I wish I could leave zero stars for this poor excuse for a “doctor.” If you have cancer and are in search of an oncologist, find someone else! He has no bedside manner for his patients or empathy for other humans. My mother was treated with so little dignity and respect from this man it makes me sick. Don’t waste time and money here!

In my opinion Dr. Kirby is an honest very professional get to the point oncologist gynoclogest Doctor who wants to get you cured and well again asap. He will answer any dumb or otherwise questions and go as deep into details as you want. He will not rush you in and out. I have questions every time I take the wife in. If your looking for a sugar coating of your cancer prognosis, look elsewhere. If you want to know what your outlook is and what to do about it. He's your Dr. He does conventional surgery, laparoscopy surgery, and Divinchi robotical surgery. He is also a specialist in radiation treatment of tumors. He says he meets every week with a group of like Drs to discuss the latest treatments and trials. My wife is on her third chemo treatment as I type this review. I am very impressed with him so far.

Dr Kirby and staff are wonderful! Everyone on his staff are kind, caring and friendly. They get you and out quick and will take the time to answer any concerns you may have. It’s nice to have a Dr fighting in Montgomery for female cancer care and treatment. I recently had the LEEP procedure then a robotic hysterectomy done by Dr Kirby and recovery was a breeze. I’m thankful to have been sent to Dr Kirby and my issues were taken care of promptly. Dr Kirby and staff are wonderful! Everyone on his staff are kind, caring and friendly.
