Outstanding doctor and individual. Provides education and respect to patients concerns. He is knowledgeable, professional and honest. It is very refreshing to be given information and options. He is realistic and transparent and after going to many doctors which only offered what they can deliver, Dr Endean, provided information whether he could provide it or not. He's one doctor-just too bad there aren't more like him.

Given the wrong diagnosis without ordering a simple x-ray of the painful area. Ended up in the emergency room with a displaced hip fracture less than a week later.

I was relieved when he took the time to hear about my symptoms and then did an appropriate exam. Dr. Endean is the most common sense and practical doctor ever. He doesn’t create problems or drum business up for himself because he has plenty. He tries not to do surgery unless that is what is truly needed. I have seen him for things requiring surgery and other things his recommendation was no surgery just give it time. He doesn’t try to hound you to death making you come in for a two minute visit so he can charge you. He knows his stuff and in my opinion is hands-down the best there is. Dr. Endean is a great doctor! He did my ACL and meniscus surgery back in 2018. All the staff in the office are professional and kind , especially his x-ray tech who did my x-rays yesterday.

Dr Endean was dismissive of my concerns and suggested that the only possible solution to my issue was weight loss and that neither physical therapy nor exercise would cause improved outcomes.

He is an amazing physician.

Dr. Endean and his staff are very professional and personable. As a patient I found them to be very informative and welcoming. The registrar greeted me nicely and was helpful with paperwork. Awesome doctor. He listens, is very human, professional and thorough. Takes his time with patient to make sure all questions are answered. I’ve heard he’s one of the best Ortho surgeons in town. His office staff is top notch. Highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Endean in February 2020 after falling and breaking my wrist. He gave me a removable brace, told me the break didn't need surgery as it was only 3 degrees off normal, and if it were him he would just use the removable brace rather than having a cast. I went back 2 days later complaining of severe pain. He said that was normal and all was well. I went back 3 weeks later for follow-up xrays and 3 weeks after that. On the 3rd visit (6 weeks post break) I told him my arm/wrist was crooked. He said that was just the way I was holding it! Upon returning to Portland I saw my orthopedic doctor who immediately sent me to a wrist/hand specialist. I also requested and received the x-ray reports from the 2 visits at Dr. Endean's office. Both reports stated the wrist was 20 degrees off, NOT 3 DEGREES! Dr. Endean lied directly to me! The x-rays were taken at his office and he received the reports but didn't tell me that the bones had moved, just that I was holding my wrist crooked!!! Now I experience pain/discomfort daily and am contemplating surgery which will require a plate and pins. Do not trust your care to Dr. Ty Endean. It's been hard getting pain management for shoulder before my operation and 35.00 for paperwork is fine but you can't promise it promptly is my issue? I'm not impressed so far.

Office staff was great and able to get me in the same day I called. Dr Endean was fantastic, helpful, and so caring.

Dr. Endean was easy to talk to, thorough and kind. He got right to the root of the problem and addressed it quickly. I left feeling encouraged. I would highly recommend him.

I had my left rotator cuff repaired and everything went great. I hardly had any pain and believe that it is because of the wonderful surgeon I had. I was doing most of my normal activities by day 2.

Dr. Endean is amazing. He gets you in, figured out what is going on and has a plan immediately. I appreciate him explaining things frankly and outlining how we are going to attack a problem. I’ll always go to him for my ortho needs.

Dr Ty Endean was very knowledgeable about my bursa. He gave me a Cortizone shot that I hardly felt. He’s a great doctor and Oh person. I trust him with any injury I have to help heal me.

I am very pleased with the detailed medical prognosis I received from Dr. Endear. It was obvious to me that he has a wealth of knowledge that he imparted in a professional and easy to understand manner. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent Doctor and communicator.

Great experience. Got in within a day of initial call. Got an x-ray at the office and saw the Dr who was right on time and spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions. Great staff.

Dr. Endean is the best orthopedic surgeon. He is caring, professional, and personable. When you see him you will know you are well taken care of.

Ty is the BEST! He always gets in in for appointments quickly, which is great when you are hurting! He gets you in and out quickly. He takes you when you are scheduled and doesn’t leave you in his waiting room forever! Great experience

I do really like Dr. Ty but I am still in pain and I left with no real solution so that is frustrating however, Dr. Ty has one of the best bed side manners that I have ever encountered in a surgeon. I like that he doesn’t go right to surgery and thinks outside the box but I went to see him because I have been in really bad pain for over a year now and I am a tough girl. I needed his help and I left his office with the same pain and feeling helpless???? Best surgeon ive ever had the pleasure in dealing with! 5stars!!

In the midst of a pandemic Dr. Endean decided that because he was being tested weekly because he worked with student-athletes he did not need to wear gloves nor did he need to wear a mask. When I went in for an appointment at no time did he wash his hands or use hand sanitizer that I was able to see. So in addition to not wearing a mask he said when I asked him about this, oh we've all had already had it when I asked him about this and it's really not that big of a deal most people will overcome it easily. When I told him that because of my medical history and the fact that I have pre-existing conditions that I would not overcome it and that it would kill me he gave me a very quizzical look. I explained that my immune system was poor because of having had cancer four times and having gone through chemotherapy, which is all in my medical history mind you, he seemed not to know any of this. He also did not know what to say to me. At that point our visit was almost concluded and he wanted to know if I wanted him to put on a mask. geesh this guy is not the guy you want to go see during a pandemic. Dr. Endean is a personable, professional healthcare provider. He listens and prescribes the best course of action for you. He is not quick to jump to surgery until he is sure that is the right thing for you. Also, it was convenient to have the x-ray facility right at his office
