Tsu H Lai

My father was seeing Dr. Lai for several years after a major quadruple bypass was performed in 2006. The Dr. who he had been seeing was just too busy and we knew of Dr. Lai through my sister-in-law so changed. My father is now in his late 90's and we changed a few years ago to someone who was closer in Barstow. We do love our new Dr., but Dr. Lai was very kind and patient with my dad. If it had been easier for him to see him we would not have changed. Dr. Lai is a very good Dr. and wise in his field, in addition to being a kind and caring human being.

Doctor Lai is one of the most competent physicians of the many I have seen in my 80 years. Combine that with an interested and friendly manner, you have the doctor you need.

Dr. Lai is an excellent cardiologist that will give you first class care. He has taken care of my wife and I for more than 8 years. We both have had mitral valve replacements and he has always recommended the best doctor/hospital to go to get the best results. I do not believe there is a better cardiologist in the High Desert.

Excellent physician, I have been seeing him for more than 30 years, I trust him with my life, being in the medical field myself I know that his abilities far exceed any others in the surrounding areas, I noticed one bad review which appears to be based solely upon the individuals inconvenience and not on Dr. Lai's medical expertise,

I have been going to Dr. Lai for several years. He is very kind, smart and gentle. He is not a young doctor that rushes you through everything. He takes his time with everyone (so be prepared to wait sometimes). The wait to see him is always worth it. He completely listens to you, and he himself documents everything - that is very rare today in 2018. My only complaint is that I can only see him for cardio - I would have him as my PCP if I could.

Truly an exceptional doctor, Dr. Lai takes time to know his patients and follow up with their care. My wife and I have been patients for over 30 years and he is always comprehensive and thorough with every visit. Last year I was hospitalized for a condition outside of Dr. Lai's area of expertise yet he checked on my progress daily, visiting at my bedside. I can't say that about any other physicians involved with my care during my illness.

Dr Lai is an excellent doctor. He has helped me a lot. He takes plenty of time and does not rush you. He truly cares about his patients. His staff is excellent too. Always pleasant

This is a bad Dr. I am or was a patient. I called to get my results, told I had to set an appointment. I set an appointment, I live an hour away , I requested for him to give them to me over the phone at the time of the appointment. I was told no. He likes face to face, Lets do Skype i was told he doesn't do that. They refuse to give me my results unless I travel the one hour each way. I had to request my records. Hope/Pray my reg Dr. can interpret them.

Dr. Lai has been my cardiologist for a number of years now and after all these years he still takes the time to talk to me at length whenever I come to see him. He is very thorough in his testing and will explain everything so you know what is going on. He also has a good sense of humor and never seems to ever run out of energy. I am so grateful that he has helped me stay healthy. You do have a bit of a wait to see him but it's all worth it as he takes time with everyone.

Dr Lai is a wonderful caring doctor. His office is full of people waiting to see him and I for one will wait for him because I am confident of his knowledge. He is always ready and willing to listen no matter how long it takes. I highly recommend him for any issues pertaining to his profession.

Dr. Lai is fantastic. My Dad has been seeing him for several years. I really love that he has called my Dad at home after hours to follow up on labs and results more than once. I wish all Doctors were like Dr. Lai!

Have been very satified with care by Dr.Lai. He is very thorough , and he listens to you-looks at the whole picture--sometimes you have a long wait in the office because he gives you the time you need His office staff is outstanding

We are so very grateful to Dr. Lai for taking such good care of my husband. Dr. Lai explains very thoroughly the tests and procedures prior to and after surgery. He takes time with each patient and calls home to check on his patients. What doctor does this in these days. He is the best doctor and we highly recommend him. We (the whole family) truly believe my husband would not be with us today had Dr. Lai not been on call when my husband had his heart attack. Dr. Lai and his staff are great.

I have confidence and trust in Dr. Lai for my medical care. He explains all tests so I can understand what is going on with my heart. Yes I would recommend Dr. Lai to other patients.

Couldn't ask for a better Doctor and staff

Dr Lai is extremely patient with his contacts and provides sound medical advice. His consultations are always thorough and put the contact at ease. He does not hesitate to recommend additional tests and/or referrals to other specialists.

Dr. Lai has been my doctor for 17 years. He is the kindest doctor I have ever had. He is so committed to his patients. He is a very dedicated doctor, who puts in very long hours and days to make sure he spends the time needed with each of his patients. You might wait in his waiting room for a long time, but he is worth the wait. If you are looking for a doctor that cares about your well being and is really concerned, this is your doctor.
