Dr. Troy Huvilla Niguidula

I like Dr. Niguidola, even though I can't even pronounce his name. jk. The few interactions I've had with him have gone well. His staff, however... I know that since COVID everything customer service related is just not as good, but with his front office, there's a degree of rudeness and outright incompetency here that can't be explained away and shouldn't be tolerated.

He rushes you through appointments and will not give you time to explain. Makes comments about he doesn't have time for you because he has dying patients. Because he won't see you your stuck with urgent care or the emergency room. he is a low quality physician.

He yelled at me and wrote a letter of resignation as my doctor. He quit on me. I am a very nice and cooperative young man who really needed help, he's very impatient and short tempered.

It's nearly impossible to get him or his office to pay attention to what the patient is saying about their medical condition. They just want to make an appointment for 2 weeks in the future. That doesn't help with the medical questions I have NOW. What's the point in trying to call his office for assistance or with questions about the medications he has prescribed or side effects experienced? This has happened every single time I've called. Absolutely useless. Worst patient care.

I have the most WONDERFUL doctor in the world. I’ve been seeing Dr. Nick for 15 years and I wish I could live 200 years.... And Doctor Nick could live 200 years and a day then I wouldn’t have to know that GOOD PEOPLE LIKE HIM HAD TO PASS AWAY. -P. Alavarado

Really nice guy that speaks in a way you can relate to. Seems to know a lot about a lot of different conditions and was happy to make a referral when he felt it was warranted.

He’s our family PCP. He’s so hands on and very caring Physician. He would call u directly to see how u feeling. My husband has a rare ds of MG. He did all possible interventions for my husband to find an answer his ds. He’s the best and ethical Physician I’ve ever encountered.

He is a bad doctor. Does not know what he is doing . Extremely unethical. His bottom line is making money or charging you money. He also has no clue as to what is going on with his patients. No wonder he sees a lot of psychiatric patients because they won’t know he didn’t see them . I don’t know why he practices medicine??? If you’re at paradise valley hospital or sharp Chula Vista get another doctor.

This guy is BAD NEWS and actually billed my brother cash in addition to billing his insurance plan. My brother has developmental and cognitive impairment and did not know better. Nigadula works out of paradise Valley hospital and Sharp Chula Vista medical center . His knowledge of medicine is subpar at best and he likes to bad mouth my brothers other doctors because he feels they are a threat to the money he makes. Do not go this this person. Seek treatment by a true doctor Or healthcare professional.

He asked what I needed. But he didn't stick around long enough to learn that I needed to know how to handle pre diabetes, or to refill my high cholesterol pills. he did take me down by half on my sleeping pills. He said the last time (when I could no longer sleep for a month) was withdrawals. When I said I would do poorly on that, like before, he said it was withdrawals. He said I wasn't looking too good anyway. I had a stroke just a few months ago and my left side was partly paralyzed. Some days, like that one, are worse than others, and I would have asked about that. But, not for the first time, and usually after any problems with his staff: this time they failed to call me to reschedule, then the receptionist said I couldn't have my overdue pills. She was adamant and angry (she had NO right to make any medical decisions.) So of course the doctor decided on a radical withdrawal of 1/2 of one or all of the other. I never told the receptionist what drug I meant.

Patient since 2008. Doctor Niguidula truly listens to and cares for his patients. I recently have been experiencing massive neuro-muscular pain and racked it up to aging process and multiple surgeries to lessen pain from injuries associated with 26 years Military Service. Upon recent visit, Doc suggested halting Crestor. Joint, shoulder, lower back pain, brain fog, etc manageable and I feel nearly 10yrs younger (I am a 56yo male). Doc placed me on non-statin cholesterol mgt. Rock-on, DOC NIG!
