I will NEVER recommend this office. The staff was horrible and couldn't care less about the so called service they provided to their patients. Hardly anything that came from this consultation was positive. Let me count the ways: 1) Staff behind the counter could have cared less when I checked in. They barely looked at me and when they did speak with me, it was not pleasant & welcoming. No smiles. Nothing despite me being a new patient. 2) They finally roomed me at their own leisurely pace with no regard for my scheduled time. 3) The pink room I was in was awful; it had a disgustingly dirty sink with marks and gouges on the patient chair. Makes me wonder about their cleanliness of their treatment rooms and about contacting the city health department. 4) The PA-C, Mark Brooks, finally came in and was pleasant enough; even though he listened intently and answered my questions, he didn't seem to know when to stop providing information. He came across as a newly certified PA-C working without a supervising physician for the first time. He didn't instill confidence in me. I also didn't appreciate how often he touched my knee or my hand to show reassurance. Once is fine. Twice may be acceptable but 6 times is too much. 5) I did not appreciate feeling like a side show attraction by the sheer number of people in the room either. There was the PA-C and 2-3 medical assistants/students in the room at any given time. No one besides the PA-C was introduced to me with name or function. They kept flitting in and out sometimes working and other times just observing. 6) The final assistant in my room was incredibly rude. She looked surly the entire time she spoke to me and was curt. 7) She reviewed my medications at lightning speed then told me that she sent my prescriptions to a specialty pharmacy because they do a lot of business with them. Not a single member of the staff or PA-C ever asked for my preferred pharmacy or informed me of this other pharmacy before asking how I want my prescriptions to be sent out. NEVER! I told her that was unacceptable. It is my choice because they are my prescriptions and I didn't want to use their pharmacy. As the patient, I have that right and I will not use their pharmacy until I've submitted the prescriptions to my typical pharmacy and have a reason that their pharmacy is superior to mine. Also, I do not trust having my prescriptions mailed to me. I don't find it secure nor do I want to risk them being stolen by porch pirates this time of year. I told her I wanted the prescriptions retracted from the specialty pharmacy and have a hard copy provided to me before I left. She rudely told me that I would have to wait because the PA-C already moved on to another patient and she wasn't going to rush him just for me. When asked, she also said that she couldn't be bothered to cancel the prescriptions with the specialty pharmacy. I know that's a lie after working in a pharmacy for 4 years and a physician's office for 4 more. I called the specialty pharmacy the next day and confirmed with Chris that yes they could retract the prescription directly from the physician's office but it's typically difficult for them so they instruct patients to call and have the other pharmacy request a transfer. Erica was being completely lazy and unwilling to do her job especially when called out by a well-informed patient. This office is a joke and was a complete waste of my time! Update: A member of their staff called me a few days after my appointment to find out how my experience had been. I told her all of this information and named Erica with all of her faults during my appointment. She apologized and ensured me that she would mark my chart that I wouldn't be returning and no staff would contact me again. Low and behold who else should call me two days after this but Erica herself to find out why I had not picked up my prescriptions and asked for a call back. Again - total waste of time and inattentive to their patients and feedback. I'm blocking their number in my phone now too. I will NEVER recommend this office. No complaints. Have been seeing her for many years. She has removed a couple of basal cell places on my husband also. Would Highly recommend her and her staff.
I advise if you're African American don't go here. An employee by the name of Krystal Schlabs referred to me as a " oil stain"! . After contacting Nancy she didn't seem to care so I wouldn't advise AFRICAN AMERICANS to go with they services. I also have the message but I can't upload it.
What a joke of a facility. Waited nearly two hours and never saw the doctor. Walked out because I had to go to work. A family member went and was charged $125. All she told him was that the pills another doctor gave him worked. Lasted not even two minutes.

I have had 2 appointments with Karen and have been amazed. She never rushes through the appointment and makes sure you get the answers you need. She is passionate about helping her patients and it really shows in her bedside manner.

Fees are astronomical. Ask before you visit I guess, if they can even tell you how much it's going to be. They didn't really help my particular condition, so I figured I get a mole removed or something to make the visit worth while. Unfortunately that cost me MORE than the office visit charge which was over 200 to begin with. WHOAAAH. Should have kept that dog gone mole. LOL Fees are astronomical. The experience with Mark Brooks was fine, the office staff was the reason for the poor review. They gave me false information about how services would be billed and told me everything would be covered under $50 copay (I confirmed several times)... then I got a $350 bill from somewhere they sent a biopsy. I had no idea they even were sending it anywhere else. The office manager took no responsibility when I presented this issue to her... I'm stuck with the bill. pretty good experience here. I have a leg amputation and I get a cyst 1-2 a year from the prosthetic rubbing and I go in as a self pay and Ive always been taken care of here. I usually get a shot in the cyst that takes care of it and if It has went down by the time I go in Ive had good luck with the cream and antibiotics to get it to go away. I believe Mr. Brooks is who I see when I go in. pretty good experience here. The doctor and staff are as always very sweet. However, I was a little miffed today that my appointment was for 3:20. I get there early, ten minutes after the appointment there is still a patient ahead of me and 20-30 minute wait.

Just went on August 6th 2015 and thought it was great. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a prescription for a recurring case of tinea versicolor. I would highly recommend her.

Went once with my oldest daughter and it was okay - satisfactory service. Tried to set up an appointment for my youngest daughter today and had to give my information multiple times over the phone (including my last name and the name of my insurance, 3 times) as though the SkinMD employee wasn't even listening to me. They proceeded to make the appointment for my daughter without even asking what the issue in question was. When I asked if it mattered I was told that she'd be seeing a doctor's assistant that "can handle lots of stuff." Nearly 15 minutes on the phone to get an appointment made with an employee that seemed incredibly indifferent to anything I was telling them.
