Dr. Toya Venetta Malone

Saw the Dr. once! Got an appointment for 4 months later! Then I was told she was not available (when I got to office) - had to see MA. Had another appointment with her in 3 months. I was hesitant so I called 3 days in advance of appointment to see if the day and time were still good. Was told she would be out of town that day and would I care to reschedule in 2 months. I said no and I assume they were not going to call me of the change, I was not well so reluctantly said I again would see the MA. I will keep my appointment and then seek out another Dr. who cares about her patients.

I've been to Dr. Malone-Davis 3 times in 6 months and have been very pleased with my visits. The office staff in person and on the phone are friendly and helpful. The friendly nurse that did my EEG made it a bearable experience and talked me through each part. Dr. Malone-Davis herself is very thorough, attentive, and personable. She explained test results in ways that are easy to understand and wasn't pushy at all. I appreciated very much her style and "bedside manner."

My daughter has been dealing with seizures since elementary school. They started as small ticks in her face, and they were gradually increasing in severity over the years. We were seeing another neurologist for three solid years. We wasted three long and painful years with absolutely no help from the other doctor because we were mistakenly under the impression that he was the only pediatric neurologist on the insurance plan. Thankfully, we were wrong. After just one visit with Dr. Malone, my daughter, who is now in her late teens, felt as though she had more answers and was leaps & bounds closer to a "normal" life. Within just FOUR MONTHS of our first visits with Dr. Malone, my daughter is now officially diagnosed with an exact type of epilepsy and is taking a medication that keeps her seizures about 90% under control. We cannot thank Dr. Malone enough for her help and expertise. (PS even through the pandemic, the staff and Doc are amazing!)
