Please help I’m in horrific pain

Dr. Ljung is an amazing doctor with an incredible bedside manner, shows empathy and kindness and is thorough in his practice. He is an asset to your staff

Dr.Ljung is fantastic and listen to any concerns I had but I’ve been having issues with being able to reach the office when calling or texting at all. It takes me about four or five times before I get a response. Just a bit frustrating because I am to have my surgery soon, I was told when I was in office that my surgery should be in February. It is now February and I have had no call and no returned to call. I have a 18 month year-old daughter, my family has to fly in from a different state just to watch her since I do not have anybody to be able to do so it’s hard to make these plans With no estimated date of when my family should buy tickets.

Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and Dr Ljung’s soft spoken manner put me at ease with my upcoming surgery.

Dr Tor Ljung and his staff were very friendly and I did not feel rushed with my appointments. I appreciate that the results of tests were called to me in a timely manner. I have confidence in Dr Ljung and the recommendations he had made for my work up and treatment. They are very good about discussing treatment options. I would highly recommend him to others.

Always takes the time to answer questions. Professional and personable. Office staff is also very cordial and accommodating.

I will not be having my surgery was not happy with the doctor as I have asked multiple times if he was going to relocate my belly and he said no your not going to do a panni and not move my belly button up . On top I have had 9 brain surgeries and not one did I have to pay for preop . When I went in they said I had to pay 457 dollars for preop and and then asked if I wanted to see the doctor I drove a hour and half after putting 100 dollars in gas in my truck yes I’m seeing the doctor . And then told me he will not love my belly button sorry I’m going for a second opinion. I had gut feeling bout this place this whole time when he kept pushing me for a tummy tuck . When all I wanted was a panni . I have used Dr Ljung in the past for an eye lift and had great results.He and his nurse Mandy are very professional and super nice people. They answer any questions you may have and make you feel very comfortable. Their follow up with patients after surgery is comforting as well.

Overall great experience so far! Having worked in surgery almost 13 years myself Doctor Ljung and his nurse Mandy along with staff really care about their patients. Especially in making sure I fully understood the extent of procedure & recovery. Mandy has always been very prompt in responding to all emails with questions or concerns and goes above and beyond for their patients. I had a breast reduction in 2011. And he was simply amazing. From the consultation to the surgery.

Unfortunately, I'm still trying to fix this man's mistakes on a cosmetic surgery from many years ago. Severely over-corrected 1 ear taking nearly all the cartilage out, and severely under-corrected the other. Left with 2 completely different and non-natural looking ears.

Other than dealing with some scheduling issues, my experience was great! Mandy is an exceptional nurse who will go above and beyond for her patients. They are genuine and truly care.

Doctor Jung was very attentive and helpful with instructions and information on how to address my problem.

Mandy was absolutely fabulous!!

The doctor has been great ! Mandy is great also they are on top of things and explain things clearly and have your best interest in mind.

I have been going to Dr Ljung for over 6 years now for a variety of services like botox, juvaderm, CO2 laser and recently a little facial surgery. His expertise and skills have helped me maintain and modify a little of what Mother Nature gave me. Dr Ljung is absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely horrible plastic surgeon. Instead of saying he can’t perform a certain surgery, he acts like he knows what he is doing, and then botches the surgery. Do yourself a favor and find another surgeon.

The staff is totally OUTSTANDING!! From making appointments, (Mandy) Dr.Ljung nurse assistant & Dr. Ljung go the extra mile to make sure accommodations are met, you are well informed of your procedure & they totally follow up making sure you are comfortable. Dr. Ljung has performed several surgeries on me beginning with breast reconstruction during and following a double mastectomy. He is a down to earth guy who I can trust. His office staff is wonderful as well!

I had elective bilateral breast augmentations with Dr. Ljung in February. After being almost six months post-op, I can’t express how happy I am with the results. My son and I have both seen Dr. Ljung. What a great experience from checking in all the way to checking out. I would recommend him to anyone. We got honest answers and he took his time explaining everything step by step. Great staff to go along with a great doctor.

The BEST plastic surgeon!!! So pleased with my results. Highly recommend him. Best kept secret in Wilmington ! I had seen a major reconstruction he had done for a friend too- he is a true scientist, engineer and artist. Thankful to have such a talented surgeon in town

Dr. Ljung is fantastic. I have been to him for various things over the years (cyst removal, mole removal, etc). His care for my Mom post mastectomy and reconstruction was fantastic. He truly cares about his patients being well, feeling good, and looking good.

I was sent to Dr. Ljung to have some basal cell cancer removed from my head and I was very nervous at first but he was very nice and quick. I was in and out in less then an hour. His staff is very nice also. It was a very nice experience and I would recommend them to anyone. Brenda

I had basically no down time after my breast reduction which was amazing. Also my scarring is so minimal. I’ll definitely be going back to him for other plastic surgery when the time comes.

I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to Dr ljung for post op reconstruction. The receptionist up frotf at the Mayfair offfice is so nice and caring. If every doctor's office had a receptionist like her we would all be better off. She's great. For Dr ljung snd his nurse / assistant they are awesome. Went to see Dr Ljung for a cosmetic surgery. He is somewhat quiet but very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the answers. Before I left I was inquiring about Botox injections, and was offered to have same day injections. I done the botox for the 1st time ever and I must say I'm addicted and love the outcome. The whole staff/team he has is awesome. They greet with a smile and leave with a smile. My personal experience with Dr Ljung and his staff has been good

I recently moved to the area and need more botox injections I know personally you can't go off every review you read so I went off the word of mouth which was to go. I went in and meet with Dr Ljung and Mandy where he injected me the same day. He is very quick and prompt. I must say my forehead is as smooth as it was when I was 29. I am very well please and trusted his judgement which has been a good one.

Not only did I get TERRIBLE lopsided Botox which I had to correct at a different office, Dr. Tor TOLD me they where going to put 60 units in my forehead! I was like wait what?! I only want 34. So they charged me all this extra for extra units.. THEN.. I get a bill in the mail for units I already paid for!!!!!! And showing the company my BOA statement wasn't enough proof! They wanted me to jump through additional hoops to show their company I already paid you!! THE WORSE PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO!

I cannot possibly say all of the wonderful things I want to about Dr. Ljung and his staff in 500 characters so I'm just going to make some bullet points. Labia reduction, staff fought for my insurance to cover it, very kind, knowledgeable, and informative, and incredible results. His follow-up is amazing and he has made every effort in ensuring that I heal properly and am happy with my outcome! Wouldn't see anyone else! Office staff even offered to watch my son during one of my appointments!

Between never getting a call back after I've left numerous messages, dr ljung not submitting the documents he had in his possession since day 1 and the insurance having to send him MULTIPLE letters stating he needs to send the documents....I suggest everyone save themselves the headache and seek a dr office who will care about you and your situation.
