Dr. Hall was excellent in listening, explaining, and helping diagnose my colitis. Thank you and my hope is that her continued care will help resolve or at least assist me in my life and living with this issue.

Dr. Hall and her entire staff listen, communicate and care about me as a patient. They stay on top of my medical needs and keep me informed of what & why something is needed. Great Doctor!

Dr. Hall listens and truly cares for her patients.

Unfortunately all the negative reviews are consistent with my experience. I went because I had a colon perforation a year prior, got a colonoscopy and my issues were not addressed, heard or treated. someone else mentioned she's just going through the motions; that's exactly how I felt. I was sent on my way, no diagnosis or treatment. My colon perforated again a few months later, is a miracle I'm alive. Go somewhere else where they will actually treat you. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I really liked her before covid....

Using Zoom, could not see Dr Hall on my device. I suspect it was an issue with my phone, wifi, app, etc. Otherwise, good experience.

Very pleasant and followed up with me very quickly. I’d highly recommend.

I've been seeing Dr. Hall for over two years now. The one time I realized I was going be late to an appointment, I called and to let them know I was stuck in traffic & Dr. Hall was happy to see me when I arrived. If you want courtesy, you need to give it. In my experience, Dr. Hall has always been caring, taken time to listen to me, she explains my condition as well as test results and medications clearly & makes sure I understand, and never rushes through my appointments. This has been true both for in-person and Tele-health appointments. As a two-year plus patient of Dr. Hall's, I would recommend her to anyone without reservation. She is an incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and benevolent doctor.

Don’t ever use this office. I have never had a worse experience at a doctor’s office. I don’t even want to give a single star. I encountered a very bad car accident on 395 that made me late for my first appointment. I was 12 minutes late. The receptionist did not greet me. She said “Your appointment was for 3:30.” I told her about the accident on the highway. She went to ask if Dr Hall would still see me. When she came out she said. “The doctor won’t stay late today.” Stay late? I was 12 minutes behind which was no control of my own and by then it was only 3:45 in the afternoon! No compassion for the fact that I had been doing my best to get there despite terrible traffic. Never should anyone be treated so rudely. Don’t ever use this office. Never had an experience like I did with Dr. Hall. I was talked to like a child and scolded a few times. I wanted to give her another chance but that was a mistake. I deserve better care and compassion and to be treated like an adult. You may get one or two pleasant visits, but eventually her true personality comes out. There are other great doctors at the practice where she works, just go to one of them and do not see her. Good Luck.. Never had an experience like I did with Dr. Hall. I noticed how low her rating is and I get it. Haven't been to her in years but her attitude was really ignorant.

I cannot understand how she could receive negative reviews. She was extremely sweet, caring, warm when I went to see her for a GI issue. I wish all my providers could be like her. Highly recommend Dr. Hall.

Awful experience. I was 12 minutes late for my first appointment with her due to a very bad accident on 395. The receptionist did not greet me. She said “Your appointment was for 3:30”. I explained about the accident. She said she would go check to see if Dr Hall would still see me. She came back out and said “She will not stay late.” Stay late? By this time it was only 3:45 in the afternoon! I can’t believe they couldn’t make up 12 minutes! They did not value the referral from Day Kimball Hospital and they certainly did not care about me.

Don’t ever go to CT GI or Dr Hall. Due to a serious car accident on the highway, I was 12 minutes late for my appointment. The receptionist did not greet me. She said “Your appointment was for 3:30.” I told her about the car accident that backed up the traffics on the highway. She went to ask Dr Hall if she would still see me. She refused to see me and the receptionist said it was because “Dr Hall will not stay late.” I am incredulous that they could not make up only 12 minutes of time. And by this time it was only 3:45 in the afternoon! The receptionist was rude and I was treated very poorly. Don’t subject yourself to that. She did not value the referral that had come from Day Kimball Hospital and she certainly did not care about me.

The worst Dr. I have ever had. Totally agree with all the 1 star rating as to her bedside manner. Would not meet with me to discuss any of my concerns when requested even though her follow up letter to me said she would be happy to do so. When I told that to the receptionist she told me "Oh Dr. Hall just electronically signs those letters." When I insisted, the receptionist told me she would relay that. Receptionist called back and stated Dr. Hall did not want to meet with me.

Dr. Hall eye rolling to my questions made me feel disrespected and mad. Her body language and short answers to my questions were disrespectful. My questions were shrugged off. I felt that if I fit into a text book definition of what she knows about GI problems I would have been fine. But my symptoms didn't match what she was telling me. If fact I wonder if she was putting misinformation into my chart so I would fit into the mold. I don't recommend her unless you are a standard textbook case who has an ulcer. Not a very compassionate person. Didn't make eye contact and barely spoke to me during the office visit and she certainly wasn't listening to what I was telling her about my symptoms. Didn't even ask me how I was feeling before she did the endoscopy. Had her office send me a letter consisting of 2 sentencing telling me I didn't have the bacteria that causes ulcers. That's not what I went in to see her for in the first place. She's just going through the motions. Save yourself the time and effort. Don't go to this practice. Not a very compassionate person. Horrible bedside manner. Very disrespectful and seemed to enjoy demeaning me. I was speechless, for I have never been treated this way by a doctor before, and I am the nicest person you will ever meet. This is my first ever review, but felt it necessary for others.0

I had a bad experience w/ Dr. Hall. She rolled her eyes at my questions and her body language was disrespectful. She didn't answer my questions satisfactorily and made me feel as if I didn't know my own body and I was wrong. She brushed off my reactions to the medications as unimportant. The additional medications she claimed to have submitted to my pharmacy never got there. I do not recommend her as a doctor if you don't fit into her book knowledge of standard GI problems.

Dr. Tonya Hall was very inappropriately angry with my primary care and took it out on me and called me rude. She didn't look at or address me, but instead talked to my mom as if I wasn't there. I would not recommend her to anyone.
