Dr. Tom Dejian Yan

I had an appt in mid November, they decided to cancel that appt and reschedule for 2 hours later without even a phone call to me to let me know. I am an oxygen patient and did not have oxygen to cover for their negligence and they didn't even care to offer. So I was upset and expressed my dislike. I then received a letter stating 1 more problem and they would discontinue my care. Had another 2 appts. scheduled for 1/6/2023, both were cancelled without notification again and scheduled for 2 hours earlier. If I would not have questioned it, it would have been a no show. Today I received another letter from his office stating they would not be my provider any longer. The office manager is responsible for this problem and very incapable at her job. I would NOT recommend this Dr. due to the inability and total lack of concern for patients by his office manager. She stopped me every way she could so that I could not talk to the physician. Now I have no pulmonologist! Thanks for not caring!!

Dr . Yan's staff nurse (Wooten) has a major attitude problem and a huge chip on her shoulder. This opinion cemented after second visit which was exactly the same impression left by her after first visit. If she worked for me this would have been her last day. If Dr Yan were concerned, he would have called me back to clarify and repair the situation..Not happening. Pathetic. Back story is much too long for this format.

this is based on what chi franciscan 4th floor care has provided my mother; week 1- tried to visit- NO, tried to drop off flowers-NO week 2- called to set up visit-NO week 3- they said they would back, NO did not, No visit week 4- tried to visit NO

I am very disappointed with the quality of service that I received from Dr. Yan's ARNP, Shari Wooten. Shari was extremely unprofessional, rude and unknowledgeable over the phone. She told me to "just stop" repeating my disorder after nearly 60 years! She also said that there was no cure or medication for my sleep disorder, when actually, Clonazepam is a frequently prescribed solution. I don't know why she was unfamiliar with that. I wouldn't interact with her again under any circumstances.

Very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Finds information for patients when needed. Remembers specific facts about patients and seems to care about them.

When Dr. Blackman left, I was set up with Dr. Yan. My appointment was December 2, 2015 . I arrived on time, sat in the waiting room for a half hour. When Dr. Yan did come in he went straight on the computer. When I told him my seizures had returned he left the room to call my neurologist at the UW. Dr.Samii at the UW had never spoke with him. He never listened my to my lungs or look at my tracheal tube. Big disappointment!
