Very knowledgeable and experienced surgeon.

After dealing with issues with my thyroid for years, I finally found an Endocrinologist who listened to me. After my examimation, and detailed testing, I was referred to surgeon, Dr. Tom Connally by my Endocrinologist. My conern, I was dealing with a problem thyroid (hyperthyroidism)with nodules pressing on my esophogus. I wanted a skilled surgeon, experienced with a high volume surgeries. A professional who did more than 100+ thyroid surgeries a year. A surgeon who was confident, caring, used good judgement, and thrives to be the best. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by friendly staff, and nurses. All eager to help, and answer any questions. My inital visit was with both Dr. Tom Connally, and his PA-C Amanda Lewis. Before leaving my appointment, all my questions, and concerns were answered. I felt totally confident, and was ready for surgery. Two weeks later, I had a total thyroidectomy. The problems I experienced for years, gone! I now take Levothyrixine for life, and I'm good with it. I no longer experience the problems I experienced prior to surgery. If you're looking for a surgeon who specializes in Thyroid, and Parathyroid Surgery, Skin, and General Surgery, I totally recommend Dr. Tom Connally, and PA-C Amanda Lewis. Thank you, Sandy Livesay

Dr. Connally is amazing!!! He is so hands on with the patient, and has the right answers to all your questions..he is just brilliant!!

I don't think it is possible to say enough good things about my experience with parathyroid adenoma removal by Dr. Connally. I am 24 hours out and have needed no pain medicine. Incision is minimal. Dr. Connally and his team made the whole experience comfortable and their care was very compassionate. I did hours of researching out of state surgeons before making a choice and always came back to Dr. Connally. We have the best right here in Oklahoma! Kudos also to the staff at Norman Regional Healthplex. All friendly and professional. Dr. Connally was outstanding in with our visit and made sure we were comfortable with our decisions. Highly recommended !

Dr. Connally is a very knowledgeable and compasionate doctor. He explained all my medical condtions in a way that was easy to understand and took time to answer all my concerns. All of his nurses are also very kind and knowledgeable.

Dr Connally is amazing!! Just had my surgery this morning and everything from start to finish was perfect!! He had been super informative and aware and understanding of everything needed. He was super nice. He explained everything he made me feel completely at easy.

Dr. Connally performed a partial parathyroidectomy on me in mid-October 2019. I was very pleased with my experience. He is smart, kind, efficient, and thorough. My incision was small, less than an inch and a half, and looks like I will have minimal scarring. The only discomfort I had postop was a slight sore throat and left sided headache, for which I took one pain pill on two different days. Everyone in his office was nice, and all my appointments ran on time. Dr. Connally, Christie, and Jada were instrumental in getting insurance approval. 5 Stars!!! Dr Connally was a wonderful doctor! He was recommended by another doctor. The office staff were kind. The information he shared about my health was spot on. I would recommend him to my friends and family. The surgery was much needed and was life changing. I loved his no nonsense approach. Hope this helps someone.

I had a parathyroidectomy in March. I am very scared of having surgeries but I was not worried with Dr. Connally. He is truly an expert in his field and very personable. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Connally performed a partial parathyroidectomy on me in October 2019. My experience was wonderful . He explained explained everything prior to my surgery appointment, and there were no complications. My incision was small, and discomfort minimal. His positive attitude is infectious, and his office runs on time. I highly recommend Dr. Connally. It's great we have a talented endocrine surgeon here in Oklahoma.

Such an amazing doctor. Was great from the very beginning, even checked in on me during my other appointments for my cancer treatments. Outstanding. Wish he was a family doctor and not only a surgeon.

Only Doctor in my locale who was experienced in parathyroid issues. Very competent and complete with answers to my questions.

DR. Connelly did hernia surgery on me and gall bladder surgery on my wife. He, his nurse, and staff was second to none. Outstanding from start to finish.

Telling a patient that damage to parathyroid glands will mean taking daily calcium is such an understatement and so misleading. Hypopara caused from my thyroidectomy has had a profound negative impact on my quality of life. Fatigue, brain fog, pain, and ER visits were never included in my pre-op education. In my case, informed consent was a joke.

Had a complete thyroid removal. Dr. Connally one of two doctors my endocrinologist recommended. Could not have been more satisfied. Clear explanation of why and how surgery was being performed. Great follow up.

I had a total thyroidectomy by Dr. Connally about a month ago. I was passed over by a few doctors because of the size of my thyroid which resembled something more like a dinner plate than the usual butterfly. It pays to seek out the surgeons who often take out these "monsters" for breakfast, which is what I found in Dr. Connally. He is experienced with the most complicated of thyroid circumstances and I consider myself lucky to have found him. Amanda Lewis, PA, was fantastic as well.

I have had two surgeries performed by Doctor Connally with the first one in 2002 and my second surgery in November, 2016. Dr. Connally, his nurse and all of his staff is very professional, friendly ad knowledgeable. I would highly recommend using Dr. Connally as a competent and professional surgeon.

This doctor is wonderful! When he saw my problem, he immediately walked me across the street to the hospital! 3 day stay, discharged, problem solved. His billing department, however, refuses to admit or correct mistakes. Watch them as closely as you possibly can!

Dr. Connally did parathyroidectomy and thyroidectomy on me. I was scared about it and had some complications prior to surgery. He and his staff were wonderful in getting things figured out quickly and safely. I am grateful that he was my doctor.
