Very well staffed , good service , a variety of ENT services & allergy treatments . Courteous & knowledgeble staff . Dr. Kupferman is very therall and precise with his diagnosis & treatment .

Professional staffing.

Had several appointments, which always last an hour and half to two hours standards. Which is not in care, but waiting. Runs, every test possible being aware of insurance max out of pocket. Had be do a CT scan, never following up with results. Wanted be to get shots weekly, more money to him. Additional his two location don't look very nice.

In my opinion and experience this Doctor Is running a "mill" to grab as much cash as you and your insurance company will provide him. From my experience once in his office you will be diagnosed and then told you need various procedures, potions, lotions, surgeries, shots, tests and further office visits. And no matter what you do or how many times you go you'll be told it's time to schedule another office visit. This is not to say he is a bad doctor. But I became convinced that his practice was focused on enriching himself rather than the well being of his patients, and as a result lost faith in his judgment According to my primary care physician He has a bad reputation amongst his peers because of these borderline unethical practices. I found an alternative ENT doctor and am much happier now. I highly recommend avoiding Dr Kupferman.

I saw the doctor one time and an assistant two times and my bill was almost $5,000. He was no help for my sinuses.

I wanted to give it 1 star. But that would not be fair for everyone in the office to be judged just because the woman behind the desk. The receptionist who checks patients out just has a very bad attitude very short and snippy if you god forbid ask her a ? I don’t understand everyone in that office is very delightful and courteous. But unfortunately she has a horrible attitude. That’s why I gave 3 stars 1 person should make everyone who is nice in the office suffer. If she was even half as nice as the other office workers I would have given 5 stars.

He did not explain anything upon my examination. He just stuck the instrument up my nose without an explanation, after it became very uncomfortable he stated in a strong firm voice "do not move". He didn't explain anything prior to my ear inspection. While he was doing something in my ear it was a loud noise that sounded like a very loud vacuum cleaner.

Honestly, I expected nothing but just "Hello, do you have an appointment?" NOPE! After 2 hours + he spent 5 minutes with me. What a waste of time. Find a better doctor with a better staff.

It's unfortunate that a doctor can have a great reputation but, the scheduling is absolutely ridiculous. My appt was set for 330pm. I got a call the morning of, today, to ask If I can come in early because they had SO MANY CANCELLATIONS. I obliged for a 2pm spot. I show up at 1:50. I'm a new patient. 30 min goes by... and within that time everyone has been taken back except myself and another woman who walked in 20 min after me. She hears me complaining about the wait times and calls her own family member waiting in the car to tell them it'll be a while because a man (me) is in front of her and was also called in early but is still waiting. We have a very short conversation about her appt being at 345 and moved up and I get called to the back. 40 more min goes by (now 310, appt at 2pm) and I have had my profile reviewed by a staff member, BP taken, and moved into ANOTHER room for the doctor to see me. He then looks at me and proceeds to walk into the lady whose appt was at 345 (after mine) and shuts the door. I walked out. Poorly ran scheduling. No respect for me taking off work half a day to come early on THEIR request or my time. They actually had the audacity to tell me in the future if my appt is changed I need to redo all the forms.... I have been a patient of Dr Kupfermans for about a year. Initially I had a good experience but the last 6 months have been terrible. The office personnel are rude and disinterested. I just left the office after waiting almost 45 minutes for an allergy shot which a non appointment walk in first come first serve event. I inquired if my name was missed after 8 individuals that arrived after me were served first. The person working the desk said I was next. Another 4 people were served as I waited. This has happened once before and the office is indifferent and could care less that I am trying to get back to work. I have been waiting 3 months for the doctor to appeal an insurance denial for a procedure he deemed necessary. I have thousands of dollars invested in tests and scans but will forfeit all of it as I will not return to this office. I went to see Dr Kupferman for Sinus problems for the first time. I hate giving bad reviews but this was so upsetting. He did not explain the procedure before Cauterizing my Nostril. Which he Cauterized the wrong one until i had to correct him. I had to ask him what are you doing. it hurts. He did not give me a straight answer. He also blow air in my ear without letting me know. Never again. I am skeptical about whether the tests and procedures done were medically necessary. Costs were not disclosed despite my asking and informing the doctor that I was paying out of pocket. Absolute liars. This is a scam. They did not disclose any prices and after an office visit with insurance I was charged $500. Not to mention the absolutely unnecessary tests they ordered, had me show up for, then tell me they would cost $2,000?!?! All you had to do was let me know the cost prior to me showing up and I wouldn’t have made the appointment. How many unsuspecting people have you scammed?! They have yet to call me back to tell me how an office visit is $500 after I paid my copay. They are a total scam. Horrible horrible horrible experience. I didn’t meet dr. Todd. I just had a deep cleansing facial with microdermabrasion and the beautician was professional, nice and kind as the ladies at the front desk. I had to wait nothing! I absolutely recommend the place for facial treatments.

Went to urgent care Saturday because I had sudden deafness in my right ear. Was put on steroids and told to make an appointment with an ENT. Found Dr. Kupferman through South Florida ENT Associates. I called Monday around noon and the receptionist was able to get me in the same day (today). Awesome. The nurse was probably the nicest person I have ever met, but I didn't catch her name... maybe she said it into my deaf ear Anyway, Dr. Kupferman was so freaking great. What a knowledgeable guy. Came up with about 10 different things that could have caused my sudden deafness and lots of treatment options, including some he called "voodoo" which I thought was charming. He really went out of his way to get me as much information as possible. I had an audiogram and will soon be having an MRI and balance testing. I am taking all of his advice, including the voodoo. Something about him just made me feel like I have the best chance of regaining all or some of my hearing. I can't wait to see what happens with my treatment. I went to Dr. Kupferman for a nosebleed. While I was there, he decided to check my ears to see if there was any blood in them. He used a vacuum device to remove the wax from my ears. The vacuum device sounded extremely loud in my ears while he was doing the procedure, and when he was done, I had a metallic-sounding in my left ear. Later on that day I called him and explained what I was hearing, and he treated it like it was no big deal. There's a procedure that can fix the damage, but it needs to be performed within a day or two of sustaining the damage. Dr. Kupferman didn't mention it in the phone call, and I didn't find out about it until three weeks later. I've been to ENTs before (and since) for bloody noses, and none of them ever checked my ears. I suspect he was just padding the bill. My hearing is permanently damaged. I can't recommend him.

Should have gone with my first instances. If you have a good health insurance plan you're Not a patient you are more a billing code. Recommend you look for another ENT. My damage is already done. Should have read his reviews before seeing this doctor.

I saw him Tuesday for the first time a very good doctor he has u go thru a lot of tests he is worth it. My husband has him to. I recommend him to my friends and family.the staff is very good.

STAY AWAY! ACTUALLY.... RUN AWAY! Unprofessional, unethical and finds ways to charge you. He is short, rude, and quick with his words. Rather than say, "I can't help you, here is a doctor that can", he'll prescribe something that doesn't work and keep you as a patient. Had a 3:30 appt and wasn't called in until 5:30. Dr. Kupferman spent 7 minutes with me. Proceeded to perform a so called "procedure" which I didn't need so he could charge me extra. The so called "procedure" wasn't even in the area that was of concern. He prescribed something that I could have gotten myself and told me make another appointment, even though he also said, "you will need to see a specialist". Then why bother telling me to come back??? Tried to upsell and felt as if tried to add more exam procedures than necessary instead of just treat a simple problem, felt unethical. Member of staff coughing and blowing nose while patients and elderly present during this time of corona virus precautions. She should not be allowed to work. Scary!

Although he appears to know his stuff, unless you have fantastic insurance you better skip going here. He racks up the bill something terrible. A simple ear infection and follow up ended up costing me $1,000 out of pocket! Lesson learned I should have believed the other reviews .

Took a couple minutes to evaluate my issue which was a hole in ear and an infection. He called in my prescriptions and forgot one which was one that was for the infection therefore I had pain in my ear for 8 more days. When I called office to tell him my ear still hurt very badly he realized he forgot to give Pharmacist prescription. He then told me I needed to come in again to get checked and charged me $450 again after my initial $450 charge.

The best doctor I have ever seen. He spends quality time with his patients, is friendly, very knowledgeable, diagnoses my allergy problems when 5 other doctors didn't even notice my problem was ALLERGIES. My primary kept sending me to specialists who found nothing wrong but gave me antibiotics & steroids to help with the ear/sinus aches, which actually did not help as the infections came back within 3 wks... Dr. Kupferman cleared up my swollen sinuses and my allergies are subsiding,

I woke up January 10th, Friday Morning, two days ago with a severe sore throat, so bad that I could not swallow. I knew of Dr. Kupferman from a prior unrelated appointment but at a different location in Lighthouse Point. I called and his Lighthouse Point Office Secretary at 8:30 apologized saying she was sorry but he he was working at his Margate Office on Friday. She could hear through the phone that I was in a bad way and she worked really hard to add me on his schedule for 10:15 at the other location, about 25 miles from my home, but I was glad to drive the extra distance because I remembered how successful he was with my prior medical issue in the past. At the Margate office, my wait was only about 15 minutes. He took a great deal of time examining and advising me of a course of treatment for this severe throat condition. I was in danger of swelling cutting off my breathing. His correct choice of treatment and prescriptions saved my life.

I made 2 visits , First one I waited 1 hour and 45 min, I gave a second chance , but waited 1 hour to see the Dr . This is unacceptable to me , Then when he saw me the 1st time , spent no more than 3 minutes, but ordered hearing tests and allergy tests which I did not need. He also does SKIN REJUVENATION in a Ear Nose and Throat specialty. I am retired physician, practiced 30 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology , no body waited more than 5-10 minutes to see me because I scheduled 2 patients per hour. So this Dr. obviously overbooks per hour. The 1 st visit I made , the waiting room was full, all 10 chairs were occupied

Terrible experience - found him to be rude, arrogant with zero communication skills and not thorough at all. My son was rushed in and out (after waiting almost 1.5 hours). Dr. asked more questions about deductible and copay than my son's prior medical history. Dr. scheduled three follows ups and we cancelled all after we left as my son would never go back. However, office staff was great.

Reading the reviews I became skeptical but trusting my own judgment I decided to try out Dr. Kupferman. I felt extremely ill and not knowing what was wrong was an additional frustration but I was tested and thereafter diagnosed with accurate findings. I was prescribed the correct medicine which gave me the much-needed relief. The testing didn't seem to be a lot (like some reviews) but rather needed for correct diagnosis. Moreover, the staff was friendly and explained all questions. The only negative thing I can say is that the office does not use Email, as an out of town patient it is extremely hard to communicate due to this. There is also no reminder emails or correspondence of visit appointments etc. Otherwise, I would recommend for all of your ENT needs.

Last reviews are right he should not be a DOCTOR

I was referred by my primary care physician to do an auditory exam with Dr. Todd Kupferman. When I checked in to the doctor's office, I was advised of an $80.00 co-payment which I paid before seeing the doctor. After meeting the doctor, I was coerced into signing a waiver, the doctor then performed two exams, a nasal endoscopy and removed wax from my ears. After the procedure I was advised that I required a follow up visit to include a hearing test at his second location. I received a phone call to schedule the hearing test appointment and was advised of the cost which exceeded $300 dollars; at that point I did not go ahead with the appointment. Days later, I received an invoice for my first visit in the amount of $525 dollars. At the time of making the appointment and at check in when I paid my $80 dollar co-pay I was never advised that I would be billed any other amounts for the two exams preformed on the initial visit. Please be AWARE of the business practices of this office!

Before even met the doctor I was already told by nurse that I'll be charged 200$ for throat biopsy and was asked to sign a paper to get bill via mail in 6 month. Really impressive diagnostic system...And I bet they would process this biopsy even if I need some antibiotics for my soar throat because why not right? Got a feeling that everything is only about money for this doctor. I got the Sinus Dialation procedure and now I can breathe better. I thought I had anxiety but I swear the way I breathe and take all the air in ???? percent makes a huge different in my life. Dr. Kupferman diagnosed my shingles when two other doctors had missed it. I was in allot of pain, had been for several days and within 24 hours of seeing Dr. K I was feeling much better. Thank you Dr. K!

Dr. Todd runs a phenomenal office. Competent and friendly staff. He provides patiences and care to each visit. They keep to schedulem every time. Promptness is important to me. Thank you for the procedures, I don’t go out of my way to leave reviews often....Five stars all day.

The doctor is good however billing department can’t get their act together.

A year ago Dr. K performed surgery for my deviated septum. For years I suffered from chronic sinus problems. During the last few years I had sinus infections almost every month. Given steroids, and generally feeling tired most of the time. I was treated by Dr. K for allergies, and given tests to find out what the problem was. Since my surgery a year ago I have not gotten one bad sinus infection. I was given a test on my throat which showed acid reflux and have been treating this with success

My elderly mother made an appointment to see Dr. Kupferman to have ear wax removed. She had no other ENT complaints. He examined and diagnosed acid reflux (she has no abdominal or chest pain) and allergies (no symptoms) and ordered 3 prescriptions (to look like he was treating these sham diagnoses). He also ordered videostroboscopy, an allergy test and other tests. After the video test was completely normal my mother realized she had been used by Kupferman to line his pocket. STAY AWAY!

Save yourself from Todd Kupperman. I made an appointment for my throat. He choose to dig ear wax out to the point I screamed twice to stop. Two days later I still have substantial pain in my inner ear. He also wanted me to return for two more office visits for a throat picture, and a hearing test. What a money grubbing doctor. He doesn’t care about the patient. He cares about the money. And on top of that he will cause you pain! STAY AWAY!

Absolutely awful experience from the moment I checked in until I left. Avoid at all cost. Did not listen to my concerns/problems. Extremely condescending. Wanted to do testing for symptons that I was not there for and had billed my insurance for ear wax removal which he did not do. Avoid at all cost. The front desk were beyond rude.

My wife suffered from sinus issues which she would describe as not being able to get enough oxygen and a constant pressure. She went to see Dr. Kupferman. He performed a Ballon Sinuplasty Surgery which opened up her sinuses. She now can breath normally and is very happy with the results. Balloon surgery worked wonders, I haven't had a headache since the surgery, which is a miracle! I used to go through a whole bottle of Tylenol in a month, and now I haven't had to take one since. Plus, I can breathe better! Highly recommend.

I used to be addicted to Sudafed. I took Flonase and Loratadine daily but would always feel pressure in my sinuses. Every year I could count on at least 2 sinus infections - the whole thing with the pressure, sinus rinsing, then the lingering cough for 2 weeks. Dr. Kupferman performed balloon sinuplasty on me over 2 years ago and I'm happy to say that I have not had a sinus infection since the outpatient procedure. Immediately after surgery he told me to breathe thru my nose. I was so shocked at the difference I said "Oh My God!" Twice! And started to cry! I gave him a big hug and said "Thank You so Much!!" I recently had an appointment with Dr. Todd Kupferman. We had an instant connection. He is considerate, professional and has a great disposition. I have an appointment tomorrow for allergy testing. It was scheduled quickly . He has a great staff member, Marcia, that I felt I had known my entire life. My experience was a very good one and I am happy to have found Dr. Kupferman! I look forward to our next appointment. He is an extremely bright Dr. and graduated in the top of his class!!

Dr. Kupferman is hands down the best ENT around!He truly cares about each patient as an individual, and puts his all into figuring out how he can make his patients feel better. Not only is he extremely educated on his field, but when he explains your diagnosis he does it in depth until you understand it and how it needs to be treated. He is the only ENT I will go to. I have never taken the time to write a review about a doctor, but because of how much he has changed my life I will vouch for him.

This guy is all about money. The other reviews are accurate in regard to that for sure! He has a groupon special for laser hair removal....I wish I had seen that before I scheduled an appointment with his office. That is not a good sign that a doctor has a strong practice. He pushes every test on you...it is absurd.

I suffered from sinus headaches . I finally went to see Dr. Kupferman. He did a thorough exam while explaining what he was doing and what he was seeing. He sent me for a cat scan of my head. The results were shocking to me. It showed how badly my sinuses needed treatment. Dr. Kupferman suggested doing the balloon sinuplasty. The doctor did the procedure in his office. It was quick and painless. I drove back and went to work right afterward. I would recommend Dr. Kupferman highly.

Terrible! The office staff is extremely rude and disrespectful! They gave me lots of appointments for tests. I couldn't go due to a very sick person in my family, who had cancer surgery. They are billing me for over $400 for no show appointments. I explained, but no sense of mercy. One of the office ladies spoke rudely telling me that they had called and sent me emails. I went to my email to verify and noticed an email form them in Spanish??? Don't go to this doctor. They'll take your money!!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Kupferman based on his high level of professionalism, extremely warm personality and his excellent team/staff who are all cheerful people eager to provide assistance and keep the appointment schedules running on time.

What a terrible experience I had with Dr Kupferman in Margate. My appointment was for 2pm. It's obvious they overbook because the waiting room was filled. I was finally taken to a room at 3:30. Where a nice woman took my information and blood pressure and temperature. I was moved twice after that. I waited another hour in another room for the doctor. Dr. Kupferman is a very thorough, caring, and effective ENT. I had sinuplasty and since then have not had a sinus infection. I had a cough and he said it was reflux and I didn't believe him, but it turns out he was right. When I stopped eating so much, the cough subsided. His staff is great and I actually look forward to getting my weekly allergy shots. Crazy, huh?

It's really easy to criticize doctors as, if you're like me, we do not GO to the doctor until our symptoms are so far gone and convoluted that we have created a real live mystery! That's what happened to me. I was having the same set of symptoms, for the same four months, year after year for nearly ten years until I ended up in the hospital unable to breathe. Everyone said it was a virus. Turns out, it was a combination of undiagnosed allergies and laryngopharyngeal reflux. All better now!

Not only I had to wait for an hour and a half and to ask to be seen by the doctor since I had to pick up my son from school, but I received a bill for a service I did not get. When I called their corporate office to clear this out, they said they don't care.

I had an emergency appointment and received a call from office saying my appt was cancelled due to being on a grace period with my insurance company for lack of premium payment. I checked with Florida Blue and my payments were up to date and both my primary and Quest accepted my insurance without issue. I asked the reception to hold my appointment while I resolved and she refused siting company policy. Health or Wealth... What do you think this doctor is after? Great Doctor and really cares for his patients

My kind of Doctor! I was in bad shape when I was referred to Dr Kupferman. Had just returned from an Asian business trip . Had a cough that had been going on for three month, my ears were so filled with mucus that I temporarily lost hearing in both ears. Dr Kupferman aggressively ordered tests, cat scans and we discovered that I had allergies, and nasal blockages. He eliminated my cough, started me on allergy shots, and performed a ballon procedure to open the sinus cavity. What a difference! First time in my life I have unrestricted breathing. The balloon procedure really worked! Allergy shots reduced the mucus . I can say he made a major difference in my quality of life. Thanks doesn't quite fully express my gratitude. This is for my husband as he received a balloon sinuplasty surgery with doctor Todd kuppfreman. With in 3 weeks he was sleeping better, has had way more energy, seems not to get tired in the middle of the day and hasn't been snoring with his throat. We asked the doctor does that procedure really do all that and he said he doesn't promote it only that it makes you breathe a lot better. My husband suffered from constant sinus infections and headaches and was always sleepy. I'm just dumbfounded in the difference in him from this office procedure. Doctor kuppfreman also found that my husbands septum is deviated by 90% so he is getting surgery next month for that which will help even more and while examining him he found that he had acid reflux and sent him to a gastro, because of that my husband learned he had an hiatal hernia, and GERD which he is being treated for. All I can say is Doctor kuppfreman is thorough, knowledgeable and amazing at what he does. We do have good insurance but everything as always been explained and written down with our insurance every time we go. I'm happy to see my husband feeling so much better!! The Practice is really lacking good front office help thr are very rude and inefficient I waited over over an hour evrytime I went, even though I was the only one in the waiting room, I was tested for allergies by acupuncture. My primary did a blood test and was accurate and much more comfortable, I have a deviated septum, did MRI and scheduled Surgery, I did the pre op with my primary. I was not contacted until two days before surgery told that a blonde or senior moment occured total wasteNOWAY

This doctor doesn't even deserve one star. Kupferman and his staff are completely unprofessional!!!! He only wants your money. There's no concern for the patient's needs'. He doesn't look you in the eyes when your speaking to him, he sits on his lap top prob not even listening. He is condescending. I had vertigo and he did a sinus procedure on me for NO reason! He never explained any testing or procedures. I learned that you can NOT trust every doctor. Kupferman should not have a medical license

I rarely write bad reviews as I am myself a health practitioner - however this was such a case of incompetence and could be even considered medical negligence and I want to make sure that it doesn't happen to anyone else. The office is completely disorganized and they do not communicate with each other and each person blames the other for their lack of responsibility and follow through. There were several issues such billing me for service that I WASN’T EVEN THERE! Stay away!

Just wanted to say I highly recommend allergy tester Shiek . He was so informative, pleasant,and made me feel so comfortable and at ease while getting 160 needles. Just loved this guy. Dr k was pleasant and spent alot of time.

Today I called his phone numbers at both locations and it seems they did not pay their phone bill, none of the numbers ring through. I did not intend to go back to him for all of the same reasons shown in other reviews. But I think I have a sinus infection and wanted a prescription called in. I will go to a nearby emergency clinic and find another ENT Doctor. Will NEVER go to or recommend Kupferman!!!

Always running behind on appointments. Did not feel doctor was really interested in my medical problems. It seemed like let's try everything and hope something works.

I did not have a pleasant experience with Dr. Kupferman. He starts off an office visit with a bunch of cursory examinations all done very quickly but which end up costing a lot of money, without even the courtesy of explaining what he is doing nor why he is doing it. He seemed bored with the whole experience and didn't ever take the time to explain to me the patient the cause nor the treatment for my ailment. The office looked run down and not particularly clean.

I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor. Went to see him about allergy testing and shots. He hardly said more than 5 words when he walked into the room before he started sticking instruments in my ears and nose, without so much as giving me a warning about what he was doing and why, none the less explaining the procedures- which were both very uncomfortable and painful. When I asked what he was doing he gave me attitude and responded to any question I had very condescendingly.

I would never go back to this Doctor. He made me have 10 exams done and with no explanation, to then have me go to his office, have my insurance billed, to them tell me I need surgery, and two more procedures but with no explanation of why I need anything done. Clearly after this point I never went back. This place sounds more of scam than a real doctors office. On top of it if can't go to your appointment they will charge you an additional $75. Do yourself a favor never go to see this doctor

I went to this doctor about my voice changes. He put me through a battery of tests; hearing, throat pictures, sinus exam (ouch!), and prescribed 2 prays and 2 pills. Also the balloon procedure. None did any good for my voice. When I had a bad reaction to one of the sprays, I could not reach him for advice by calling the 2 offices. I found him curt and occasionally rude. I cancelled my last appointment since he did not solve my problem.

Horrible. Takes your ins to another level. Dirty. Unprofessional staff. A little bully type personality too. His lab coat is filthy. . Very overwhelming. He has same protocal with every patient no matter what the diagnosis. Keep searching internet you will see his reviews. Save yourself a good penny and do not use him. Sorry I did.
