Dr. Todd S Kim

He left me with a deformed foot after an ankle repair. This has drastically affected my life as I’m now permanently mobility impaired.

I recently had a Total ShoulderReplacement( Arthroplasty)under the excellent care of Dr Todd Kim. The entire process was smooth and professional. All my questions were readily answered, keeping my fear factor low. I was discharged from the hospital the day of surgery, pain control was very well managed.

Dr. Kim and his staff, both office and surgical, are fantastic. They are all, without exception, professional, efficient, listen and answer questions, and follow-up quickly as promised with phone calls. Dr. Kim an his staff present options with pros and cons of each and typical recovery time. I feel extremely fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Kim for Achilles tendon repair, and am healing well. He also has helped me with my knees without surgery.

I recently had a Total Shoulder Replacement under the excellent care of Dr Todd Kim and his team. It was a very smooth process. I came home the day of surgery, pain control was very well managed, post op recovery was uneventful giving me terrific results.

I took a stumble, came away with a mid foot injury and was referred to Dr. Kim. At the first visit he went over the injury in detail, listed treatment options with recommendations and listened to and addressed my concerns. The surgery went without incident and every single follow on was treated in the same professional manner by not only Dr. Kim but his PA, the nurses and the pro who knew exactly how to slap on a cast. Scheduling was a breeze and when incidents I caused during rehab concerned me (like taking a dive off my knee scooter) I always received a call and/or email to ascertain whether I needed to come in. Highly recommend.

I broke my shoulder and Arm and was almost sent to a trauma center, along came Dr. KIM my hero! I highly recommend this wonderful Doctor.

In August he performed a foot rotation for my right foot. The recovery is long, yet I’m very with how well the result is and how he genuinely cares how I’m recovering.

End result terrible. My hip dislocated 1 1/2 year after total hip replacement after a simple act of showering. Continues to cause pain after a short walk and completely locks-up preventing any further movement on a cold night. His explanation tendinitis.

Did a meniscus scope (so I was told) and failed to realize my ACL was completely detached at one end. Had 2nd surgery 6 months later after Dr. Kim just kept saying I needed to rest the knee more. ACL surgery was by a different doctor of course. Just reading the MRI report was able to say the ACL was torn.

I saw Dr. Kim back in 2010 for a patella tendon tear, and had a great experience through the whole process. He provided excellent care and information regarding my knee surgery.

A family member had elective surgery and due to his and the Hospitalist's negligence this family member died. They refused to do a Ct scan to rule out strike when 2 nurses with stroke experience told them they suspected a stroke. The patient subsequently succumbed to the evolving stroke. The evolving stroke could have been stopped if he had had the ct scan and been transferred to a complex stroke center such as Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City. Todd Kim and the Hospitalist were both very callous
