Dr. Todd Edward Jackman

He was extremely eager to perform artificial disc replacement surgery. Did not follow surgical protocol for inserting the company’s artificial disc. He did not clean out the area or remove the large bone spurs. He did not even remove my flattened disc. He literally crammed in the new artificial disc and closed me up. Not acceptable. I had to have another extremely long and intensive surgery to have the artificial disc removed, my original disc removed, the area cleaned out, bone spurs removed, etc. and then an extremely talented and caring surgeon fixed what Dr. Jackman did not! BEWARE!

What an excellent Orthopedic Spine Surgeon! I've had 4 spine surgeries from Dr. Todd Jackman. I had a cyst removed thst was pressing on a nerve causing Sciatic pain and 2 Spinal fusions for Sciatic pain. All of those surgeries were successful! I alsp had a neck Fusion. I highly recommend Dr. Todd Jackman!

Dr, Jackman, I am extremely frustrated. I was approved to have my surgery at your clinic. The only approval necessary was that you accept Medicare, which you do. I have spoken to both Medicare and Blue Cross. Blue Cross does not require any notice or pre-approval. They just follow Medicare. So we scheduled and I provided what your Midwest Spine and Brain Institute required, by email. My pre-op and clearance, uploaded 74 MRI images to your system, had a negative COVID rapid test, consultation with you. I received an email saying everything was good and my surgery was set. I was not told that a PCR was required, just another COVID test three days after arriving. I explained that would not be possible due to my flight schedule August 14-18 and was told that was ok. Turns out a PCR is def required and the minimum turnaround time is a minimum of seven days. So, my flight schedule was definitely impossible. I could have stayed in Minnesota for two weeks as my wife came with me. I wish that

Dr. Jackman performed spine surgery on me ten years ago that mostly corrected a failed surgery done by a neurosurgeon several years before. I was far more than pleased with every aspect of his planning, surgery, and post-surgery care.

He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors. He’s taken care of my spinal issues, surgeries and helped me heal in the past eight years. I am absolutely grateful to him for his amazing ability to help me heal. I see him yearly for follow up and he is always kind and incredibly caring. Not many doctors, especially, surgeons out there with this incredible bedside manner. I’m grateful.

Dr Jackman implanted an ROI-C, proudly boasted that he created the most distance he ever had between vertabra to a nurse friend of mine while i was still loopy from anesthesia, then sent me home with inadequate pain medication and became the invisibel man...rolling in pain I was ignored until a Proliance PA saw me ten days later and said I was "under medicated", and I realized I suffered immensely for ten days for no reason other than Dr. Jackman's inability to feel sympathy, compassion, or anything beyond his own ego. When I finally saw him for a followup he confirmed his callousness for me, needless to say 'sorry' was not in his vocabulary, he said "he just knew" I'd "be the sort of patient to complain"..when the surgery ended he had his money and waltzed away whistling a happy song..the "doctor" is in my opinion a disgusting excuse for a healer who before he gets to cut is friendly and sells blue skies and fluffy bunny outcomes..after that in his mind it's all the patient's fault.

I have had six different surgeries by different doctors and Dr. Jackman has one of the best caring attitudes and bed-side manners I have experienced. He is thorough and thoughtful in his diagnosis and informs his patients on all the different options of care including non-surgical options before he recommends surgery. I have had two back surgeries, both conducted by Dr. Jackman and I highly recommend Dr. Jackman. And....His post-care is fantastic. He makes time for his patients, listens intently, and is not in a rush. Dr. Jackman really takes time to make sure his patients are getting the best care possible. I trust Dr. Jackman as a professional and after going through two surgeries, consider him a friend. Lastly, my wife was very pleased with the time he spent with her after my surgeries while I was in recovery. Dr. Jackman goes the extra mile and it shows.

Dr. Jackman has performed 5 procedures on me and I have had excellent care from him. The 1 negative review must have come from someone that woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I have run into so many of his patients and they all rave about him. He spends the time with you, is very personable and professional. Caring for his patients is in his DNA. He sees you before and after each procedure and puts your mind at ease regarding the success of your surgery. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone who asks. He deserves high marks!

Doctor Jackman is excellent professional. He helped my mom with her leg surgery. Dr Jackman explained the condition very well and performed the surgery. The surgery went very smoothly and my mom was back standing next day. Dr Jackman has great personality, caring and doing his best for the patients. We highly recommend Dr Jackman. He is amazing.

Todd Jackmon and I have known each other 9 years now He has a great personality. Professional and caring One of the best. The review I read of ego is sos wrong He gave me his cell number 5 years ago when he fixed the disc in my neck Was at my sons game next day. 2019 2 surgeries on my back he fought Tooth and nail my insurance to go back in and help free up nerves. I have been able to text him anytime of the day from my home bed and he responds quickly even though he has 3 kids to care for. This has been a long road on my back but he has been there. What surgeon do you know gives out his cell number to people. I will continue to have him do my work in my spine if need be.. Wonderful humor. And makes you feel ok that we will figure this out . Dr. Jackman has been helping me with disk issues for a decade. He relaced a disk in my neck and relieved a bulging disk in my back. The difference in my life has been phenominal. He is always direct and honest, i recommend him highly!

With my care he was a horrible doctor that only wanted to prolong my care without trying to fix the problem. Arrogant and no empathy. Maybe the more patients you have returning on a regular basis guarantees steady income?

I went to Dr. Jackman for a second opinion on spine surgery. A friend had recommended him to me. I found him to be a caring and personable doctor who took the time to listen and explain. His recommendations were conservative, a rarity among surgeons, in my experience. I haven’t scheduled surgery with him but I believe that if he’s as good a surgeon as his level of sensitivity with patients, I can recommend him to others.

Dr Jackman is very caring, and does a great job at explaining imaging results and what to expect during and after procedures. He takes a conservative approach, which has worked well for me. Dr Jackman is very personable-made me feel very comfortable the minute he walked in the door. He is knowledgeable and very experienced. I was amazed at how well I felt after my surgery! He is a very skilled surgeon. Follow ups were great too! I would highly recommend his work!

Dr. Jackman and his staff were outstanding. I had surgery 10 years ago on my lumbar area and was up and walking without pain the same day. Months later, back on the mountain skiing and 10 years later I am pain free and active. Older but doing great. I would not let another Surgen touch me. I have recommended Dr. Jackman to 3 friends. Very highly recommended. Dr. Jackman performed a L3/L4, L4/L5 laminotomy to relieve a stenosis condition. Surgery was performed on an outpatient basis at their surgery center in Issaquah. I had immediate relief of symptoms and almost no pain with the surgery. Dr. Jackman was exceptional in explaining the situation to us beforehand and discussing the options and outcomes. He was very patient in answering our many questions, and put us at ease regarding the procedure. His staff is great, too.

After decades of intense pain, Dr. Jackman performed surgery on my neck for severe degenerative disk disease. He did laminoplasty on 3 vertebrae and laminectomy on one vertebra. The improvement in my pain level has been remarkable. He is great to work with, explaining the options and procedures clearly. Prior to meeting with Dr. Jackman, two prominent surgeons told me that there was nothing that could be done to help me. Fortunately, Dr. Jackman had a plan that provided me with great relief!

Dr. Jackman is the best and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing good care, accurate surgery with a great outcome. Three months ago, Dr. Jackman performed surgery on L4-5, decompression and insertion of a spinal device called a coflex. He is an excellent surgeon, very easy to speak with, makes sure that you understand, and will take great care of you!! He's the best.

Dr. Jackman took the time to help my family and I understand what my MRI was showing and that I should get a small outpatient surgery to fix a herniated disc. He did a terrific job! I'm a 25 year old guy who was feeling like I was way too young to be having to deal with back pain. He was easy to talk to and answered every single question we had pre/post operation. I definitely reccomend Dr. Jackman!
