What can I say? The man and his team fixed me! I'm 43 and my quality of life has increased exponentially! It's really night and day. The office staff and nursing staff are very friendly, professional, and answer any question you may have to the best of their abilities. I've never left confused about a subject. Dr. Dewey and his assistant, Margi (sorry if I got any of that wrong spelling or position), are very nice people. Very patient and they do not sugar coat anything. They made me feel like I mattered and that'll always stick with me. Great team. You'd be in good hands.

I was there to find out if I needed open heart surgery. Fortunately for me the PA reread and measured the CTA and surgery was not required. While going over my heart history they were very thorough. They eased my fears.

Dr.Dewey was my surgeon for a quadruple bypass on February 1st of 2023. He did a great job, as well as his team. Very attentive to my needs. I would recommend him to anyone.

Best place to go, clean and you get in, out and back home fast.

Dr Dewey performed 5 bypasses on my dad in 2003. We were at another hospital that gave him a 15% chance of getting off the operating table. Well, obviously we started looking for better odds. I contacted Dr Dewey and he told me to get him to Dallas. My dad was 50 at the time. After looking at scans Dr Dewey said he felt assured he could handle it. Surgery went perfect. Dr Todd Dewey and his staff are amazing, they took excellent care of me, I'm up and about doing great, in no time at all.

I was able to schedule my open heart surgery just after Christmas. Dr. Dewey put me at ease when I asked him lots of questions about the surgery. 10 years ago I was on death's door. Dr. Dewey did a surgery for my rare condition and saved my life. My mitral valve started giving me problems 6 years later and he performed a second surgery and put in a transcatheter mitral valve. Again, this was another rare surgery that saved my life. Dr. Dewey saved my life. I required emergency open heart surgery at Medical City March 3 of 2020. He knew just what I needed and when I would have the surgery. They had to shock me back three times. I had them scared one wonderful doctor told me. Thank you, Dr. Dewey, for being my surgeon. I could not have found a better heart surgeon if I had gotten the time to look for one. My wife and I consider Dr. Dewey to be a true God send. He was not on the radar when we were looking for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon but while searching his name was revealed to us by the office of one of his colleague giving him high praise. Dr. Dewey diagnosed and guided me through the process of an open heart triple bypass surgery in a way that made me feel confident that he would be used to bring me through healthy and whole. His work was excellent and he and his entire staff were persistent, patient and thorough in their care for me before, during and after my surgery. Dr. Dewey performed my open heart surgery in Jan 2004 and just had an appointment with him this month to consider treatment for aortic stenosis. I live in Northwest Arkansas and trust him to do whatever is necessary to get me back full active living. Looks like in January or February of 2021 we will go back to Dallas and seek his expert care. I completely recommend Dr. Dewey to everyone I know for his professional, skillful & compassionate care. He is second to none, the best!

I had triple open heart bypass surgery on 05/18/20. Dr. Dewey did a great job, I recovered fast and am now walking 2 mi. every day without any problems. The care I received in the Heart & Spine Hospital was outstanding. Thanks to everyone to giving me my life back!

On May 29th Dr.Dewey performed an Unroofing for my condition Myocardial Bridge. I am 3 weeks out and I am doing remarkably well! Dr. Dewey is the best; I knew the first time I met him that he was the one I wanted to do my surgery! Very skilled, compassionate surgeon! I was referred to Dr. Dewey by my cardiologist because of an aortic valve that need to be replaced. I called Dr, Dewey's office and set up an appointment with a battery of tests to be performed to determine my eligibility for the surgery, I was eligible for the procedure. Dr Dewey and staff took care of the leaky valve and I got a new one. His staff his outstanding also. Margi was a great help after surgery as was Erika who fielded my questions until Dr. Dewey or Margi could get back with me. All in all it was a great experience, a little painful, but I am still here.

Dr Dewey is very skilled and I would recommend him to everyone.

I could not be happier with my open heart surgical procedure. Dr. Dewey, his PAs, NPs and entire staff are outstanding. I've worked for hospital systems in the area for 20+ years, and the care I received at Medical City, under Dr. Dewey's daily supervision, was excellent. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dewey performed a triple bypass on me about six weeks ago. Results so far have been excellent. In addition to being a highly talented surgeon, his bedside manner is second to none. I was admitted and scheduled for quadruple bypass the next day. I had complete confidence in Dr. Dewey. He explained everything in detail in a non-technical way. His bedside manner was excellent and reassuring. M. Fink was also so professional and gentle while taking care of me. The office staff was patient and in answering my questions. I was an emergency admittance to the hospital. Catherization procedure revealed I needed double bypass surgery. Dr. Dewey was recommended for my surgery. He and his surgical team provided excellent pre-surgical care, explaining the upcoming surgery and what to expect. Surgery was performed with no complications and post-surgical care was also excellent. Dr. Dewey visited me each day for the remainder of my hospital stay. I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Dewey.

Dr Dewey is truly outstanding. He was not the first surgeon I consulted, but he was the one in which my wife and I had absolute trust after meeting him. He was clear in what to expect, available when I needed him, delivered confident advice and was there for follow-up. And his staff is simply superb. Really a great experience given the fact that I had to have heart surgery at all.

Dr. Dewey and his team are exceptional!! We can not express enough the care and expertise Dr. Dewey, his team and Dallas Medical City have, there is so love for the patients and the family!! Around every corner there is someone to help with whatever your needs may be, even if it's trying to find which building you should be in or which elevator you should take to get to where you need to be. I cannot say enough good about Doctor Todd Dewey. He had to preform open heart surgery on me to replace my aortic valve in 2014. Because of other circumstances open heart surgery was the only option. Doctor Dewey explained fully the procedure to me and the recovery process. He inspired confidence that overcame my anxiousness and fear. In the years that followed he showed genuine compassion and understanding when I came back for check ups. His skill is why I am alive today. Thank you Doctor.

Truly a life saving experience... probably would not be here now if it were not for Dr. Dewey and his team. The care I received met all expectations. I am indebted for extending my days. One first meeting with Dr Dewey and I knew this was the man god had chosen to do my surgery. I had a very positive experience with Dr. Todd Dewey and his staff before, during and after my heart surgery at Medical City Dallas Hospital. I feel like I received the best possible treatment for my heart problems. It has been eighteen months since my surgery and I feel great.

This was the most positive health care encounters I have had to date. The thoroughness and attention to detail I thought was outstanding. Dr Dewey and the staff covered all scenarios and exudes a positive feeling about the diagnosis and procedure. I always felt positive during my discussions with Dr Dewey and the staff. The results of the procedure were outstanding. This organization is first rate. I highly recommend.

Dr. Dewey did the heart transplant for me 7 weeks ago. He is one of the greatest Cardiac Surgeon in Texas. I had been released from hospital the 8th. days after the surgery. I'm recovering very well and everything looks perfect to me. Thanks Dr. Dewey and the Medical City Transplant team.

Dr.Dewey is smart,honest but upbeat ,sincerely concerned and a good guy to boot!

I have been very impressed with the speed at which I was able to get in and seen. This group is much more efficient with receiving referrals and processing them compared to the other group I was referred to. The staff we have encountered have all been extremely friendly and helpful.

He saved my life. I have hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. I could barely function and had very few days left on this earth. His expertise and attentiveness to my situation was remarkable. Great communicator and very detail oriented.

Dr. Dewey performed quintuple CABG surgery on me in March 2015 that not only went flawlessly at the time, but now a little more than 16 months later I can also report zero complications or setbacks in my recovery -- which is 100%, or better. He took the time to explain why this surgery was necessary and why other options would not serve me in the long run -- even hand sketched a pencil drawing of my heart with the occluded arteries! His long-term PA is also outstanding - Margie.
