Todd Demmy

Dr Demmy is very attentive and really listens. He really appears to want the best outcome for his patients. I couldn't have asked for a better Dr or surgeon for my esophagectomy and care afterwards. The staff always answers my questions in a timely manner when I reach out to them. Roswell and the thoracic team are truly the best.

I am very satisfied with the time and care for my health care with Dr Demmy. He takes his time and answers any questions that I have.

Dr. Demmy is my hero. He truly cares about his patients. He saved my life. I cant even thank him enough. I wouldn't trust anyone else. He is the man. Love Dr. Demmy.

Dr. Demmy is not only a very fine surgeon, but he is willing to take time with you to answer questions and share information. That is extremely appreciated as my procedure was new to me and I felt involved in the process and decisions. He is very busy and appointments do take some time, but the actual appointment makes that time investment very worthwhile. He also has extremely pleasant and knowledgeable people working with him and they are a blessing to interact with. I’ve been a patient for almost 2 years. His diagnostic procedures and monitoring have been professional and attentive. His PA’s and staff are also good to work with. I was lucky to have him assigned to my case when an X-ray found a mass on my lung, when I was referred to Roswell Park. I recommend him and Roswell.

Dr. Demmy always take the time during my visit to explain everything I need to know. Excellent doctor.

I, Kathleen E. Cherico, was scheduled to see Dr. Demmy on 9/1. When I arrived they told me that my appt. had been canceled. By whom, no one seems to know. I waited while they looked into the error. No one called by phone to inform me of the cancellation, evidently it was the gastro dept. that cancelled, so they said. I was finally seen by Dr. Demmy's PA, thinking I was there to set up an appt. to get my throat stretched. No one seemed to be able to give me any info. on why or what the appt. was set up for. I went to get my pre-op Covid test. Never having had one, I was a bit anxious. But I should have known not to be -- the nurses who administer the drive-through Covid tests have their routine down to a science! It was a completely positive (and painless!) experience! Dr. Demmy is the best.

For all the visits i've made i have only had excellent experiences.

Roswell Hospital is a great place and I really like and trust Dr Demmy.

I can't say enough about about Dr Demmy I feel I wouldn't be alive today with out him.

I had a consultation with Dr. Todd Demmy. He has done a previous surgery for me. He went over information thoroughly and steered you in making a correct decision. He is very efficient and compassionate.

Dr. Demmy talked with my husband and me for about 30 minutes and recorded the meeting for us to share with our family. He was straightforward with some serious diagnoses, but included hopeful information about possible treatments. He set up appointments so that we may begin to treat my cancer. Dr. Demmy welcomed communication with some close friends in Boston who are experts in the field. Everything he said was a comfort although it was serious. Hi Dr demmy from texas. You fell off your stool when you where telling me how you where going to cut my chest for open heart surgery. That was right after your nurse came in and told you you'd left your headlights on... and I stupidly allowed you to cut my chest open from side to side.??

It's been about 10 years since Dr. Denny removed a small encapsulated tumor from my right lower lung. I return yearly for a CT Scan and checkup with Dr. Demmy. I was extremely afraid when I first received the diagnosis. Dr. Demmy was very straightforward and caring which helped calm my concerns. My yearly checkups have been fine. In June of 2015, I reported no problems. He asked me about the 3 healing fractures on my right rib cage that the scan showed. I had fallen that March on an out of town trip and went to the ER for xrays. I was told nothing showed up but to see my regular doctor who suggested that I come back if the pain became worse as she didn't see anything on the initial xray. I didn't make my level of pain clear thinking to myself "Sheesh-how much worse can it get!" I saw her for a regular physical a month after Dr. Demmy asked about the fractures. I appreciated Dr. D's concerns about the fractures. I learned to be more specific about pain levels with doctors!

Dr.Todd Demmy , words could not begin to express this Dr.s care and concern..seriously..his knowledge, , and continued followups..he the epitome of why Drs, are Drs...( that being said, any great doctor has an amazing staff...his is too notch..)...and Roswell...well, its name speaks for itself (top 10 percent of hopstials in Country)...on a personal note, i was taking aback by find i ng out i had cancer over the phone, fear, anxiety. From the time i met this Dr...he wrote me notes to take with me...like a diagram of what was coming, thresholds needed to meet goals...simple, explained it all to me (thanks again Dr Demmy, truly Amazing)...I'm a visual guy ...he picked up on that, and i needed that picture, from shock and lack of understanding on my face...
