Todd Driscoll Davis

Dr. Davis was my doctor for many years. He did rush appointments, long wait time but the staff was friendly enough. Deceptive as far as reason for blood test. Said it was to make sure I had a certain medicine in my system. Instead tested for drugs and alcohol. I should have been informed about the real reason. He misdiagnosed many things with me and kept prescribing the same medicine instead of solving the problem. Before he retired, I would tell him something and he would speak something totally different into his microphone. Something was going on with my skin. He didn't examine my skin, just said I was seeing things. No testing was done and now my condition is extremely worst. He did not listen to what I said, he would just tell me I needed a psychiatric. Not true.

Dr. Davis was kind, friendly, and attentive.

It was a great day meeting my new physician. He was a great people person. The staff was wonderful. Any questions I had was answered.

I give Dr. Todd Davis an 11 out of 10!! He and his staff are always so friendly and efficient and make you feel so good. Dr. Davis even called me personally last night to tell me the results of the blood test I just took! Dr. Davis and his staff are a gift to all his patients in this crazy world today!

This review is long overdue! Dr. Davis has been my (and my husband's) primary care physician for the past couple of years. He excels on so many critical levels: 1) his knowledge base is vast (everything from conditions to supplements); 2) he arms you with tools you might need so to maintain wellness between visits (e.g. calculators, useful websites, etc. ) and importantly, 3) he is kind - his caring and attention to his patients is well beyond expectations (for example, he will literally call you and then continue to try again if he fails to reach you way past "office hours”). This is not a one-off - it is his “business as usual” approach, which is *anything* but usual. I can't say enough to recommend him. We have been extremely satisfied with our care under Dr. Davis!

Went in for a Stingray injury on my foot. Long wait with no one ahead of me, doctor didn’t even touch my foot and barely even looked at it. I was expecting him to at least clean it or bandage it for what I was gonna pay. He was nice enough to give me the low charge, which is still high. But the lady at checkout never mentioned anything about another $120+ bill coming to me on top of the $60 I just paid and the $100+ I paid in prescriptions. As always, my experience was 5 star.

Awful experience! He does not listen to his patients. Over talks them while trying to push more expensive drugs when the patient has told him that the generic older drug works great for them. I have gone to this office for 20 plus years and I will NOT be back!

My wife and I have been going to this location for our primary care for almost six years. Generally very good experience. Dr. Davis is fairly new to this practice so we don't have a lot of experience with him personally. In fact he is the third doctor we have had as a PCP at this location, which is a little frustrating since just when you get comfortable with the Dr. and establish a relationship they change. Only other complaint is the time it now takes to get refills of prescription medications. It used to be next day, then it was changed to three days, and now there is a sign that says it takes five business days (and I had a recent experience where it took seven days and multiple trips to the doctors office and the pharmacy to a generic medicine refilled)! Dr. Davis was very thorough, and answered all my questions. He didn't rush the visit or give any indication other than genuine interest in my health and wellbeing. A model of what a family physician should be.

Dr Davis became immediately invested in my health and well being starting with “Hello”! He has been clearly interested in learning as much as possible about my past health history so he can help navigate my present and future well being. He is a good listener and has a keen sense of humor. I am delighted to be his patient.

I am a full-time business owner with Very little time and I found it difficult to find a Physician during these unprecedented times after relocating. Dr. Davis comes with many years of experience dealing with a wide spectrum of medical conditions etc, I felt very comfortable around him on my first visit, he is very attentive & understanding while truly listening to your medical needs & concerns and does not rush you in and out the door. We moved to Johns Island a little over a year ago, & have been looking for a primary care physician. My next door neighbor recommended Dr Davis. We are so thankful! He takes time with his patients getting to know them, & zeros in on medical needs. I finally feel our family has found our trusted doctor in our new community!

great doctor but now RETIRED

I thought my visit could have been more regardful in the explanation of my prognosis, (see a Cardiologist) since my EKG showed something, waverly lines, or something. I really didn't understand. I left the office a total wreck of nerves, with the anticipation of the worse. Which probably increase my blood pressure and temperature. My temperature was 100, I was not sure if I was in the Covid-19 category or not and it wasn't explained. Added worry. I was always used to a thorough explanation, leaving no doubt in my mind or nothing to worry about. Met Dr Davis for first time for my annual wellness exam. I appreciated his expertise and personality. The staff seemed friendly and professional. All went well, except for 2 concerns: 1. When I arrived, my temperature was not checked. Also, the waiting room was crowded with 4-5 Johns Island firemen working to cut a ring off a patient's swollen, broken finger. After 15-20 minutes, they were brought into an inside room to continue. The patient's spouse was also in the waiting room, without a mask. There was only one bench outside, already occupied. 2. While Dr Davis indicated my PSA count was good, he did not conduct a digital exam. At age 73, I am concerned about swollen prostrate as well as prostrate cancer. What a pleasure to deal with. They couldn't work me in before the holiday weekend, so the nurse took my issues over the phone and the Dr called me after hours to talk to me. He wrote the prescription and when I went to pick it up the next day, his office staff apologized for me having to wait 2 minutes while he signed it. This is medical CARE in its best sense. I have been a patient of Dr. Davis for several years and have recommended Him to several family and friends. Dr. Davis is the first Doctor that helped me with Fibromyalgia and other illnesses. He listens to Me and that means a lot. Dr. Davis is an excellent Doctor. His Staff is great too.
