Do not recommend going to a dr Caldwell who cant tell time or communicate with staff!! If a patient is your first of the day they should not be forgotten about in a room waiting to be seen.

Dr. Chadwell removed my husband’s gallbladder. One month later he is in the hospital with sepsis. Also he sent him home with pain meds for a day and a half. While that maybe enough pain meds for a typical healthy 50 yr old. My husband is far from that. He has many underlying issues which Dr. C refused to take into account. Basically he let him be in pain for an entire week. And refused to write him anything other than the day and 1/2 of meds he left the hospital with. He lied straight to my face. I know legally he could have written him 10 days of pain meds. Which he needed. He has no problem lying to his patients. Not a good quality in a surgeon. Not to mention Dr. Chadwell seriously needs to work on his bedside manner and communication skills. Not a fan.

Was a great surgeon

Very pleased with my gallbladder surgery with Dr. Chadwell. He was very caring and called me back personally to make sure I was okay.

My oldest brother had a hernia surgery , he was never the same again , he went to Uof L hospital, and than back to Hardin Memorial he was so sick threwing up , and had fluid that was coming from him . He was never the same again / He was in Hardin Memorial Hospital , Going from Dr. office and back and forth to the hospital he got 2 spots on his lung, He got Covid, he was so weak and so out of being his self . And my brother died , He was the oldest of all of us being his - brother and sisters / My mom and father can not get over this that my brother died and his brother and sisters cant either . So if you are going to have surgery , please dont get this doctor , You will not make it either after having surgery .

Dr. Chadwell done my emergency Appendectomy. He done a very good job, and was very thorough about the procedure preop.

Dr. Chadwell completed a hernia repair for me recently. He was very professional, did a great job and was exceptionally caring and quickly saw me for follow ups. I highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr Chadwell is great. Surgical Specialties office staff terrible. Wife has needed gallbladder taken out for over 2 weeks now and now they are pushing her off another week, I guess it is ok to let someone not eat food and be in pain for 3 weeks. Surgery was set last Wednesday and something came up during surgery. Now they are in no hurry to get it done while my wife is in constant pain.

I just had a surgery to repair a botched one. I highly recommen him. He did an awesome job on me. He's made sure everything has gone smoothly after surgery with everything I need done.

I had a hemorrhoidectomy. Dr Chadwell said I would be in excruciating pain for two weeks After surgery,i ask for a different pain med due to The one prescribed makes me vomit. Dr Chadwell gave me enough for two days and nothing for n/v! Told me to ask PCP. When I called the oncall, she told me to come to ER. That the Drs would know how terrible the surgery is! I shouldn’t have to go to ER and pay for another visit! If you know it’s excruciating, give the pt pain meds to last until followup!

Dr Chadwell removed a cyst on my side and removed a non functioning medi port. He was very professional and explained everything well to myself prior to surgery, as well as my family after surgery. I really like this doctor and was very comfortable with him. Highly recommend and will be seeing him again if a surgery is needed !

Thank You! Dr Chadwell, i had appendicitis and he came in and removed it feeling so much better. Great Dr explained everything so I can understand.( short-term memory bad & syncope) but i understood. ???? ????
