Dr. Toby John Genrich

Great experience, took the time to explain things and make me feel comfortable.

Dr Genrich is a FANTABULOUS doctor. You can't find many doctors who actually take their time to explain things and a plan and their time with you in general. I'll stay with him til the day I die. Mikayla (his assistant, hopefully I spelled her name right) is BOMB. She makes me smile by how personable she is just talking to me.

I am a 65 yo female who has had many decades of experience with many different Ob/Gyn doctors in Arizona as well as here in Colorado. I have never had a doctor with as much compassion, patience, knowledge, or respect as Dr. Toby Genrich gives to his patients. I was completely blown away by his professionalism and friendly, down-to-earth personality. I was terrified to the point of tears that I was going to require very invasive surgery, however, Dr. Genrich gave me several options that did not require surgery, with surgery being the last resort. My fears were dissolved, and I left his office hopeful. I was so impressed, I requested business cards so I could hand them out to my daughters and all my female friends. I highly recommend Dr. Toby Genrich to anyone needing an Ob/Gyn doctor.

I had two friends recommend Dr. Genrich to me and then found a third friend who also sees him and they all had nothing but great things to say. Today was my first visit with him and I loved him and his nurses!! I was instantly comfortable withing 5 minutes of the visit. I can't wait to have this journey with them they are absolutely amazing!!!

It was my first visit with Dr. Genrich and I liked it a lot. He listened to me carefully and gave valuable pieces of advice. His assistant was great as well. I've got a bit confused with the directions in the office but for the rest, everything was great.

Very compassionate and even did a quick ultrasound to ease my mind.

Dr. Genrich has a great bedside manner. He explains what's happening and gives you ample opportunity to ask questions at the time and invites you to do the same in the future. I really appreciate that after some bad experiences I've had with GYNs since moving back to Colorado. He seems to care about his patients.

I’ve had a great experience with Dr.Genrich and this medical office so far in my pregnancy. Dr.Genrich is a great OB. He is super friendly and you can really tell he cares. I’ve never had too much of a long wait time and the staff is great/friendly as well.

He is absolutely the best doctor! He is kind and friendly. Dr.Genrich took care of all of my needs. Even when I send a message needing something, his assistant gets right back to me. I am very pleased to have him as my OBGYN.

The waiting room was calming and the staff were all very friendly

This is my second pregnancy, and I already had an established doctor for years, but when I learned I was pregnant and tried to make my first appointment with my existing doctor; I was notified that she was out on an undetermined return from medical leave, and that her practice could not take on any new pregnancy patients. I was extremely disheartened because I loved that doctor so much! So I set out to find a new one, and one in which I had high expectations for coming from my previous doctor. After my first appointment with Dr. Genrich, I know I found just what I was looking for! He was very welcoming, friendly, informative, and took his time getting to know my history, hearing the birth story of my first child, and making plans for my current pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Genrich was an absolute joy to meet. He gave me hope and reassurance. I’ve been dealing with some health issues and he was beyond compassionate and informative. I would 100% suggest Dr Genrich.

Dr. Genrich delivered all 3 of my children. Im plus size and had health issues that complicated my pregnancy. He and his staff are amazing. They are kind, professional, compassionate and personable. I just had my 3rd child a little over a month ago and had to have a unplanned c section. I was nervous because it was my first surgery, but he and his team kept me calm and comfortable. I had a great experience at my first visit today! I’ve only seen women GYNs so I was a bit nervous to see Dr. Genrich but he was so kind, caring, and really listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He made sure to make clear we will come up with a plan together that I’m comfortable with and won’t just “put me on a pill” when we move forward and I really appreciated that. Dr. Grenrich at Academy Womens Health was honest and made me feel comfortable. He explained how the next few months would look and talked about some future options to keep me and baby safe. Also made me feel as though everything was my choice when previous pregnancies I felt like most of the choice had been stripped away from me. Dr. Genrich has been my dr for a few years now and he is so amazing! So caring and very understanding! He has gone above and beyond for me during my pregnancy! I wouldn’t want any other dr.

Wonderful as always!

Without a doubt the greatest OB you could ask for. I had Dr. Genrich for my first baby (and will for any others). This man performed an ECV on me when my stubborn son of a breach was upside down, and when the lil breach couldn’t be moved he was so compassionate and soothing!!! He then performed the greatest c-section I could have asked for and gave me such a small and low down scar sometimes I even forget I have one! If you want to feel like you’re on an episode of Greys Anatomy (think Dr McDreamy) every time you come in for a check up this is your man! Without a doubt the greatest OB you could ask for. Dr Genrich... Extremely good... Listens to you... Isn't pushy... Gives options for what he sees best for the baby... I wish i would've known about him when i was pregnant the 2 times ago because I was comfortable with him and the staff... I definitely recommend Dr. Genrich!!!

Dr Genrich is awesome. He always remembers details about my life outside of the office. He used to ask me how pharmacy school was going, even if it had been a year since I saw him last. I’ve been a long time sufferer of endometriosis, and had a hard time in the past finding a dr who listened. He did. He did my surgery and to this day. I haven’t had an issue. He also explained to me that I still might in the future, but for now, I’m good. And I have him to thank. Best OBGYN I've ever had! Dr. Genrich made my first pregnancy experience wonderful. I went into and left every appointment feeling confident, informed, and comfortable. He had genuine compassion for getting to know me personally and was great with 2-way communication, so I had full trust in the answers he gave to my many many questions. I had a missed miscarriage back in July and Dr. Genrich was an amazing doctor. I was moving from San Diego to Virginia and I found out about this a day before I moved. Dr. Genrich monitored me in Colorado and made sure everything was okay during this big life change and loss. I wish I lived in Colorado Springs so he can be my doctor for future pregnancies. I couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate doctor in one of the most challenging moments in my life. I was very sad, but he also gave me hope for the future. Dr. Genrich has wonderful bedside manners, communicates well and at a level that the non-medical person can understand. He is very considerate and does his best to make you feel comfortable while he is examining you. I never felt rushed and he was happy and willing to answer all my questions, you definitely feel that he is listening and taking into consideration your concerns and fears.

I was scared that something was seriously wrong when i was reffered to Dr Genrich. I had post-menipausal bleeding that continued to get worse. After discussing all my options, and continuing to hemorage more frequently, Dr Genrich help me to decide on a minimally invasive hystorectomy. Im am forever grateful for his skills, his communication, and his wisdom. Even though the healing process came with some restrictions and duscomfort; I felt better after surgery than before. 100% satisfied!

Dr. Genrich was not my original doctor. I went into labor early and he showed up and did my surgery. I was extremely surprised on his bedside manner and he was very thorough and moved fast. He and another doctor did my surgery (high risk) and eased all of my husbands fears. His humor and kindness made our day. I’d definitely recommend him over and over!

Love, love, love Dr Genrich!! He told me when I had my very first appointment that this is a busy office and there may be times where you may have to wait longer, but when I walk into your exam room I will take all the time you need. He is down to earth and you can tell he really cares about his patients. I am 38 weeks pregnant with a breech baby and he told me that he will do everything he possibly can to prevent me from having a C-section. I love this doctor and I am disappointed I cannot give birth here in the springs due to moving. He is very professional, reassuring, and will answer my questions in a professional manor. Dr.Genrich was by far a great choice for my little family. He is so sweet, and answers all of our questions. I always felt comfortable even though my body was so huge. I will continue to use Genrich for all of my pregnancies and I would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks for being awesome and having a great sense of humor!!!!

He is an amazing doctor I felt very comfortable having him as my doctor when I came for all my visits being pregnant. And when I was giving birth to my baby I liked how he didn't use the forceps or vacuum or anything to get my baby out and how when I had a bit of a hard time pushing he just told me to just relax let the baby move down on its own I loved that.
