Dr. Tobi Jean Reidy

Best,caring,doctor that has attended to me.

I recently had a procedure done with Dr. Reidy, and found her to be both professional and extremely comforting. What fear and questioning I entered with.. evaporated at the excellence of her and the surrounding staff.

I have been her patient since 2017. She is truly an amazing doctor!! World class care! Compassion, understanding of your concerns and fears! Explains everything thoroughly in "clear terms". Makes you feel comfortable in some very uncomfortable situations!! Would be 10 STARS if that was possible!!

I was in the ER for 12 hours screaming in torture with diverticulitis. Dr Toby Reidy was supposed to do surgery but she was double booked and went over on the first surgery. My intestines exploded because I had to wait, no backup was called. The records did not state any of this. I had sepsis and had to be reopened to clean out the infection. My intestines exploded again, with another infection. The board of health had to be notified. I spent 20 days in the hospital and 30 days in a nursing home. My bowel had to be reconstructed and I had to have a colostomy which was not done correctly. I still have nightmares to this day about this experience.

My mom went to the ER with diverticulitis, she was in torturous pain for 12 hours screaming. Dr Toby Reidy was supposed to perform surgery but she was double-booked and did not finish on time so my mom's intestines exploded, twice. It doesn’t say this in the records she reported that my mom was immediately taken to surgery after signing consent, which is false. She told my mom her first surgery went over. My dad ran into the hallway for help crying, and it was a ghost town, my mom was left there to die. Dr Reidy had to open her up again because mom got sepsis. She had to have her bowels reconstructed, it wasn’t done correctly. The nurse kept sticking her over and over again, she couldn’t get the IV. Mom caught an infection in the hospital, had to have a tent around her and everyone had to be dressed in PPE, head-to-toe. Board of Health had to intervene. She had to spend 20 days in the hospital and 30 in a nursing home with a colostomy. We have had nightmares bc of this, this has affected our trust in the medical community. Is this how you treat seniors? Why did you not call backup, knowing the condition that my mom was in?

Dr. Reidy is a very kind person with a wonderful bedside manner. She is also very gentle, and will explain everything before she does it. She treated my Grandpa very well and I am so thankful.

She performed an extensive surgery on my mother that included a colostomy. Later, complications developed from the surgery which interfered with her abdomen included severe pain, vomiting and my mother was unable to eat. She had developed a huge hernia which was pressing on veins and arteries. After numerous attempts to call and speak with someone in her office, we were told that they would notify Dr. Reidy and she would contact us.... called twice, spoke with Andrea and Kelly and we NEVER received a phone call back. We ended up taking my mother to the hospital. We were notified by three doctors to contact Dr. Reidy immediately and have her review the new cat scan to see what we should do, my mother needed another surgery. We called Dr. Reidys office and started to tell the nurse what the doctors at the hospital wanted us to notify Dr. Reidy about and the nurse interrupted and told us again that they would turn it over to Dr. Reidy ASAP. Never heard a thing once again.

Never heard a thing once again. We also needed to have my mother measured for a colostomy belt and called numerous times about this, to no avail, they never responded. We had to find another doctor to review my mothers case and repair the colostomy hernia. Dr. Reidys office took no responsibility in assisting my mother after the surgery.

Very pleasant. Appointments always on time. Entire staff is outstanding.

She made me more than comfortable and made my appointment enjoyable over something I had been embarrassed about since giving birth to my child. She is awesome. The best! She saved my life after I was mis-diagnosed by another specialist in the same office building. When I went into her office and told her I had bladder infection and my urine was brown, she was all over it. Order CT Scan STAT. Show abscess on colon attaching to bladder. I was in hospital ASAP. She had to remove 12 inches of my Colon and piece of the Bladder. Colon was leaking into my Bladder. She is so warm and compassionate, you can tell she loves her profession. If I could rate her a 10 I would. Love her!!!!

Dr. Reidy came highly recommended by several friends that are nurse's who have worked with her. I love her she is so sweet and she always has a smile. Dr. Reidy saved my life she found a baseball sized tumor during a colonoscopy she didn't waste any time getting me in for surgery, I ended up having stage 1 colon cancer. I got an infection after surgery and Dr. Reidy came in on her day off and took me back to surgery to find out why I was having pain and a fever. I am so happy to have had Dr. Reidy and I highly recommend her and I promise you if you need a colon & rectal surgeon and choose her you will not be disappointed she is AMAZING!! I can't say enough about her. She is caring, compassionate, funny, straight forward, makes you feel at ease and not to mention a great surgeon!! She had not seen my dad in person, only on paper, and knew she could do something. She saved him from a horrible death. We stole him out of hospice from another hospital, thanks to our oncologist.Things had to happen quickly. She saw him the first time on a Thursday and surgery was Friday. Impressive! She is not just smart and good at what she does but, she comfortably and personally relates to people (not to mention she probably saved my friend Junes life!) What a woman!

Professional, highly skilled, compassionate, extremely concerned about the comfort and well-being of her patients. If I could I would give her ten gold stars! This RN highly recommends her!

Dr Riedy is the best! She took the best care of me! She took all the best way before we had to go to surgery and then after surgery, she came in and saw me every day! She is wonderful!!! Thank you for everything you have done for me!!!

Dr. Reidy performed my first colonoscopy and I’m extremely pleased with how the experience went. The staff and nurses were kind and Dr Reidy was great! She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I will see her again, if needed.

Excellent Doctor that explains procedures in easy to understand terms.

She takes care of my 87 years old mother and she is the most caring and considerate doctor I have ever met. She also did my colonoscopy and she did a great job. If you need a colorectal specialist, Dr. Reidy is it!

I think Dr. Reedy is a absolutely a wonderful Doctor I had diverticulitis and she performed a colon resection she was very kind, understood the pain she took care of me like an angel. I love Dr. Reidy! She has helped me through a lot; prolapse, bleeding, partial colectomy. Her caring and informative attitude helped me deal. She didn't just jump into surgery, we looked at the whole picture, tried a few things, and did what was needed. She treats her patients as individuals not just a number or diagnosis. I would recommend her to family and friends.

She is pleasant, extremely informative and makes you feel at ease in what can often be an unpleasant experience. She also has a good sense of humour but is also very respectful. She has took care of any questions I had and follow up is great. She has gone the extra mile for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Reidy.
