Dr. Walker did an exeptional job analyzing my situation, explaining my options for treatment, and explained the reccomended procedure in great detail. He was very pleasant and careful to answer any questions I had about the procedure, and also any questions I had during the post-op check-ups. Also his assistant, Melissa, was also very thorough in explaining what I was experiencing throughout my recovery and healing process. The entire staff at Orthopedic Institute was very cordial, welcoming and professional and made every effort to make my experience as pleasant as possible. I would highly reccomend Dr. Walker and his associates for any orthopedic needs, and I will be returning in the near future for another knee replacement. Thank you Dr. Walker and staff for a job well done. I am very satisfied.

I am always pleased after an office visit with Dr. Walker. All my concerns and questions are always answered and I never feel rushed. His nurse also works very well with him and I always feel like she takes time with me also when gathering information from me for Dr. Walker.

Dr. Walker is the best orthopedic doctor I have seen! He has handled 3 of my 4 knee surgeries. He is very professional, courteous and shows nothing but the upmost respect to his patients.

Total left knee replacement done March 2, 2022. It went exactly as Dr. Walker said it would. With his skill and the Physical Therapists help my progress went exactly as proscribed. Very happy with the care given.

I had a knee replacement 4 years ago. Sr. Walker listened to me years before trying to buy me time to not have surgery, but when the time came I had complete confidence in him , his team, and care after. He was so good! Today, my husband said he is leaving Sanford orthopedic to Join Avera Orthopedic institute … I’m very very sad … as much as I like this doctor … I have not had a much care at Avera when I needed nurses help… each hospital needs the total Package … docs and nursing care. I’ll stay at Sanford for now … but am sad he’s leaving.

Dr. Walker is a liar, a fraud and a butcher. He falsifies medical records and had to bring in another Dr to fix his mistakes.

arrogant, doesn't have time for patients. Extremely poor diagnosis ability. Will not recommend him as a doctor.
