Beware of front desk staff. Dr. Underhill is incredible, but his front desk staff is pretty rude, condescending, patronizing, and confrontational. They may have the knowledge and ability to run a front desk and what not, but they completely lack any semblance of people skills. After being a patient of Underhill’s for 15 years or so, I think I’d rather go blind than face that front desk staff ever again. Sorry Doc. I’ll miss your service, experience, and care, but good luck with your front desk. Beware of front desk staff. An excellent eye doctor and staff!
I have been a patient since 1991. During more than a decade living in Orlando, I drove back to Fort Myers to see Dr. Underhill for all my eye care needs. If you wouldn't drive 3+ hours to see your eye doctor, maybe you haven't been seeing the right one.
Been seeing him for over 20 years. I think that speaks for itself.
