Dr. Timothy Shafer has taken wonderful and caring medical care of both of us since he came to Townshend, VT. He is thorough, takes time to listen to us, and follows up to see that all is well.

Throughout my life, my doctors have been so excellent, caring, & professional, with a few exceptions. Dr. Shaffer is one of them; he was an absolutely HORRIBLE dr....I was shocked at how mechanical & cold he was!! I went to him again, thinking maybe he was just having a bad day, yet found that was just his nature, so I decided to go elsewhere. If you want a doctor who treats you other than just as a #, & is caring, know there are others out there who do fit that bill; he's just not one of them!!
For all my previous life, I was never a person to run to the doctor but when I suddenly needed medical help, Dr. Tim Shafer was there. He has also educated me -past my stubbornness-to be proactive, not reactive. Always personable and easy to talk with, I am glad Tim is my doctor.
