My husband has been going to Dr Schoonover for several years for trimmers and dementia. The pass three times we see a assistant that is not a Doctor but prescribed medication to my husband. That has side effects that was not good for him. We get another prescription from her for trimmers and the pharmacy tell us it addictive. Best Doctor ever for Cervical Dystonia ????????

I have been a patient of Dr. Schoonover's for over twenty years. He is an amazing neurologist as I see him for both epilepsy and migraines. He is very personable, answers any questions that you have and works with you for your treatment plan. I would and have recommended him to anyone and everyone who needed to see a neurologist. I can guarantee that he is the best I have ever seen and I will continue to see him as long as possible. Thanks Dr. Schoonover for everything that you have done for me and your patients! I guarantee that he is the best!!!

I've seen Dr Schoonover for ten years now for chronic migraine, recieving injections & new preventative for almost one year now. I couldn't be happier with his care & I've had lots of experience w/ many Dr's and neurologists living in both Texas and Ca where I had a neurologist who also suffered w/migraine and treated me. I never thought I would ever have another doctor who understood & was as empathetic and knowledgable re living with chronic migraine. I'm 55, suffered with migraine since age 14. Dr Schoonover always listens to me, answers any & all questions I have. He never rushes me & is super fast when injecting me while asking often during injections if I'm okay. I would & do reccomend him to anyone seeking neurological care for any disorder. He is truly an expert in his field while remaining caring and compassionate with excellent bedside manner unlike many other Dr's who while excellent Dr's can't or don't relate well with patients. You do not have to choose one over the other!

Rude staff and no knowledge of Parkinson's or brain diseases associated with Parkinson's! They think everyone with tremors should see a psychiatrist!

Amazing neurologist. Takes his time to listen to me. I can get in touch with him or his nurses online when I have a question and they are wonderful in responding quickly when I need them. Compassionate and a wonderful advocate for migraineurs. Incredibly knowledgeable and competent all around. My previous neurologist pales in comparison to this headache guru. He truly is the best out there, and absolutely aware of the newest research. He will not prescribe snake oil or voodoo, like I have encountered with other so-called pain doctors. I was in extreme pain that was shooting out of my eye and burning the back side of my head. The emergency room, family doctor, and dermatologist thought I just needed to rest. Dr. Schoornover diagnosed occipital neuralgia. I was finally able to be treated!

I can't say enough about Dr. Schoonover! Not only is he an excellent neurologist, but he's a fantastic person! He always enters the room with a smile and a corny joke! If you're having problems, I highly recommend him!

I have suffered with migraines for years, finally deceided to try botox, it has worked wonders. Dr Schoonover is very gentle (some of them are painful) and he does a few at a time then checks to see if you are ok before he starts on the next set. His nurse is wonderful also

For the past 30 years I have struggled with a debilitating facial nerve issue. The pain basically kept me from doing my job and enjoying my life. Doctor Schoonover was the only doctor capable of providing me counsel, diagnosis and medical relief. He is thoughtful, knowledgable and extremely competent. Consider yourself blessed if he will take on your case. I do.
