I had an opportunity to speak with Dr. Sams on 6/8/22 regarding a pain management situation. I was impressed with his curiosity to my pain history and my planned next steps. He seemed very caring and gave me the attention and concerns I needed. I feel comfortable with what he explained to me and was a great help in my decisions. Thank you Dr. Sams

I am surprised about all of the negative ratings with Dr. Sams. I met with him and discussed my history. He was very caring and listened to my history which doctors often do not take the time to do! Since I had a lot of experience with pain management he thought it would be beneficial for me to read his book. He gave me a copy. I have since read it and it has been very enlightening to me. I think anyone with chronic pain would benefit from reading his book. He has a lot of knowledge to share. He referred me to biofeedback. I have been working with a neuropsychologist. She has been a delight and I have learned how to manage my pain more effectively by using the tools she has given me. I am able to bring down my pain levels on my own without using medication. Biofeedback teaches you how to do this on your own. I have been dealing with chronic pain since 2006. This is the first time I have had a pain management doctor refer me to biofeedback. I sure wish I had learned this sooner!

Have seen Dr Sams on numerous occasions as recently as July 2017. I found him to be punctual, respectful and very well informed on every kind of opioid. He spent time getting to know me and how I was dealing with my chronic pain. I learned from the many classes I attended on opioids and how they affect your health and your life. I am so much better for this knowledge. I totally respect this Doctor and would recommend him in a minute.

Very bad experience. BE AWARE AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE before going. They say we accept your insurance But fail to mention that they are not in Network. I had a 35 minute visit and was sent a bill for over $700. Paid cash price $350 and acted as if they had done me a favor. After I paid, They sent me 2 more THREATENING bills and were going send to send me to collections and court. They were very rude on the phone. Wouldn't recommend EVER. worst experience I ever had with a doctor

Patient Beware! Timothy Sams expressed the most dire opinion about my spinal condition and psychologically beat me up! He told me I would never get better and my only option was to use his different services! I did go for biofeedback and this perhaps was of only marginal benefit. But he is a dangerous man who tries to take away any hope of recovery. I subsequently have used various alternative methods of healing and have improved enormously. His billing was also quite high.

BEWARE ! Check your insurance ! They said they took my PPO ins., but they were not contracted and charges are high. The 1st visit cost $850, and they post-dated that billing to insurance so that charge did not show when it should, claiming $125 for the first visit. Dr. billed 4 months after treatment, the first bill they sent me appeared to be demanding over $5000. The 2nd bill they sent included threats of prosecution for $1045 while trying to double bill! Don't go if you are not wealthy !
