This man saved my life so I could walk again! It’s been 5yrs since my surgery and I’m going so good because of him! Living my dreams by being to go back to college so I can further my education! I’m able to do things I thought I would never be able to do again all because of this man right here! I was almost paralyzed from the waist down only by 2cm. He gave me hope and I believe in him because he got be me better! He is the best surgeon in this state and if I have to ever go through what I did again, he be the one I would want to perform my surgery as he did before. He fought for me and I’m thankful for him! Dr Moore killed my mom - she passed away less than 24 hours after Dr Moore did neck surgery on her. The nurse told me she was doing good & getting up to go to the bathroom. 2 hours later my dad called me to say she passed away. The WORST part - they can't even tell me why & what caused her death. The Resident said maybe a blood clot in her lungs or a heart attack since she has a history of heart problems. She has NEVER had any heart problems prior to this, besides taking blood pressure medications. I begged her NOT to have it done through Metro. I wanted her to get a 2nd opinion at UH or CCF. I had the ACDF surgery with Dr. Moore, and it was the 1st surgery that I've had in my life. Being 54, I was scared, but they made me feel really confident about the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Moore and his staff...everything about the experience was wonderful....I'm very blessed to have had him and his team take care of me. My mother recently received surgery by Dr. Moore. November 6th, 2018 to be exact. My mother ranted and raved about how much she liked him, trusted him, and how professional he was. He talked about how all his patients are his family. My mother’s surgery was successful, however, the aftermath of the surgery was a complete disaster for our family. After my mother’s surgery her recovery was much slower than he anticipated and previously stated it would be. It took him 10 days after the surgery to see my mother. (10 days later is horrible bedside manner in my opinion). My mother had to travel in an ambulance to his office to see him. At this time, he stated my mother was doing well and he was pleased with her recovery. Well, 7 days later, my mother passed away of what they say was a blood clot that traveled to her heart. (She passed away the day after thanksgiving). Something that could’ve been prevented. Since her passing, we have been reaching out to Dr. Moore and have been unsuccessful. Just like he took 10 days after my mother’s surgery to see her, he has yet to respond to our phone calls regarding my mom. Needless to say, our hearts are heavy and I feel as if the way he handled things post-surgery has been awful. So, while everybody else may have positive things to say about Dr. Moore, this has not been the case for our family and I would not recommend him to anyone.
