I have struggled with degenerative osteoarthritis for 25years and Dr. Millea listened, tested, immediately ordered appropriate procedures and labs and got me in for cervical spinal stenosis surgery within 6 weeks. I am completely satisfied with his skills, personality, blunt honesty and recognition that I needed to apply for disability benefits rather than working excessive hours to complete all aspects of my job. I am sorry that he has retired as it is hard to find doctors of his caliber.

Dr Millea reviewed the results of my lumbar MRI with me on Monday 4/27/2020. The results of the MRI were negative. It has to be a hip issue. I was told by Dr. Millea that he is retiring on June 2020 ! Sad because I will miss the incredible treatment I received from him in the past seven years ! Happy for him that he gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor ! Enjoy retirement !

In addition to being an excellent surgeon, Dr. Millea is a very caring physician and an extremely nice person. He takes time to listen to each concern a patient has, he and explains every test and procedure in great detail.

Great personalized care. Attention given to your history, your present and your plans for the future. Realistic expectations are given when considering options.

Dr. Millea is one of the best doctors I have ever had to deal with. He is always willing to listen and always takes as much time as needed for an appointment. I would recommend his services to anyone who needs care for their back.

He really listens and cares about the outcome of his work. I always feel comfortable with him. He’s really good at explaining the surgery and what to expect in the recuperative period. My surgery was complex; seven weeks out looking very successful.

Most importantly Dr. Millea listens. You feel like you’re part of a team that is working for the best outcome for you. He’ll tell you he is old school but that’s just another way of saying he’s wise and that he’s not going to put your health at risk just to experiment with new technology unless It can truly benefit you. You sense that he cares and can be trusted to Make you better.

Dr Millea is not only a very personable and kind physician, he is very knowledgeable and experienced. He operated on my lower back eight years ago, I have very minimal pain (scar tissue) to this day!!

Dr. Millea is a surgeon I would highly recommend. From the onset of my injury, to the surgical procedure, he has treated my injury with expertise, care and compassion. With each visit, I was informed of the treatment schedule and plan. Dr Millea is a recommended surgeon. This is reflected in the great care he provides and the many patients under his watch who now exist pain free.

Dr Millea took time to explain where my main issues are and the more conservative options that will hopefully help get me back to more normal daily living without moving to surgery now. Felt comfortable in the direction I am taking and am confident in a follow up.

Dr. Millea takes the time to answer all your questions. Very friendly, not one of the doctors that spend most of the visit on the computer. He will show you your x-rays on his computer, but he doesn’t waste time entering data in the computer. He sits across from you talking with you about your health concerns.

One of the best Doctors I have ever had the opportunity to work with. He is very thorough, explains everything in detail, and allows the patient to work with him to determine the best way to treat your condition. I would very highly recommend him to anyone that requires any form of spinal treatment.

Dr. Millea is compassionate and truly cares for his patient's. Wouldn't trust anyone else! Dr. Millea is the complete package when it comes to physicians/surgeons.

I have been a patient of Dr. Millea for five years. When I came to him 5 years ago, I had been suffering with back pain for 15 years. he was able to take the needed time to talk to me about my back and what the options were for repair. We decided that a fusion L3-S1 was needed. The surgery was a success. Then a year ago, I injured the vertebra above and tried for a year to let it heal, it did not. Surgery was a success again. I highly recommend Dr. Millea!
