Dr. Timothy Donald Macon

Dr Macon is MIA. I have been trying to reach him for 2 months. No "after-hour" provision. No return calls from Office Voice messages left. Found doors locked during their office hours when we decided to just show up to see the staff ... Finally got a "video-visit" arranged -- he stood me up! Very unprofessional. I hope he is OK, but if you really need the help of a Pulmonologist -- and I really do! -- This is not the place to go at this time (1Q2023).

Dr Macon was professional and thorough. I did do a sleep study and found to have sleep apnea. At checkups he examines my cpap records and adjusts the unit as necessary. Exactly what I had hoped for and expected from this doctor.

Showed up at schedule time to be told no appointment it was cancelled. Person at window didn't even say sorry. Just make another appointment.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 2 yrs ago. Dr. Macon and his staff are very thorough, caring and professional. I didn’t realize how serious this issue was until therapy.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS Doctor! I had done a sleep study at HF, brought in, he said it was "too old". Did 1 at Beaumont, he wasn't there, he was paid $1,000 for it. Prescribed Ritalin for Narcolepsy! Didn't help. Did a 3rd sleep study at his office. Yep, Narcolepsy, here's some Ritalin. Where's Provigil? Says "We prescribe Ritalin at MY office for Narcolepsy." Still falling asleep! Call office, can't be seen, my newest appt. got pushed back 3 more months! Every appt he cancels.

I would certainly recommend Dr Macon.. I have been to 2 sleep studies and am going for another one as soon as i can, only thing is if i could bring my own machine and mask into my sleep study so they can really see how i have been sleeping

Disorganized office personnel, tells you one thing then does another, and likes to pass the buck onto the medical equipment supplier even though he should be taking the time to explain the problem. There's a problem when the respiratory therapist you see is more helpful than the doctor himself.
