Great practitioner. Saw my husband on Labor Day holiday for an eye emergency. Did a wonderful job. Highly recommend.

While the wait was very slow, 1030-1215. He was really great at listening and was able to get me on to another doctor once he figured out he could not help. Great staff and doctor!

We have been going to Dr. Lischwe and he is wonderful , the staff is extremely friendly and the office is clean and fun if you have little ones.

I saw Dr. Lischwe for cataracts in both eyes. He was personable, took his time to explain what he would do and scheduled surgery. The surgery is quick and easy. Coincidentally, my driver's license was expired and I was very pleased that I passed without my glasses. I appreciate that he requires patients to wear a mask.

Efficient services

My wife and I both go to him. When I explained that we live 40 miles away and needed same day visits , his staff arranged it so we are seen at the same time.

I went to a local optometrist because my vision was blurry and they said I needed a prescription change. The new glasses did not help so I went to Dr Lischwe and he properly diagnosed my problem as a cataract. I was very impressed with the care given me by the doctor, his staff, the nurses and anesthesiologists in the hospital. We are lucky to have this level of care in a rural area.

Dr. Lischwe may be all right for typical cateract surgery -- I don't know about that -- but I have an I have an astigmatism, and he put in the wrong lens because he did not measure properly according to two specialists I went to in Columbia. So, instead of achieving 20/20 like the majority of cataract surgeries, I could barely read the first line after he was finished. On top of that, my eye was 3/4 scarlet for well over a month. I will never darken Dr. Lischwe's door again. And since then, I've talked to a number of locals (many in the medical community) who just shake their heads when I mention Dr. Lischwe, saying things like they would never go to him because his reputation is not good.

I have had eye issues for years that had given me very red itchy swollen eyes daily that was literally miserable! I went to Dr. Lischwe on the advice of a friend and the first thing he did helped, but still not fixed. I went back and he put in eye plugs because I have severely dry eyes and I am elated that I tried them! My eyes are so much better since. He is my hero and has really raised my quality of life so much for the better. Eye plugs are a little strange feeling at first but I totally recommend them and Dr. Lischwe! Judy and I live in Salida, Colorado and have a house on the lake in Osage Beach, MO. Went there in May of 2017 and I needed a cataract removed, I did not care to have it done in Salida. Glad we did, as we could not have been treated in any more of a kind and professional way. I had eyes very far-sighted and a cataract that blocked one eye. When we left the clinic I had 20 20 vision both eyes, of course different days. Judy had only one eye done, but same result, no problems. Jim and Judy Taylor

I would nor recommend seeing dr. Lischwe. He has an I don't care attitude and will tell you anything to put a buck in his pocket. Do yourself a favor and go to another Dr.

Super fast eye exam and I didn't wait long in the front either. Everyone was nice and it was an easy process!

Dr. Lischwe and his staff are amazing. They helped different family members and wasted no time. Highly recommend this doctor for all your vision needs, especially cataracts and glaucoma.

Dr. Lischwe was very thorough and observant when examining my eyes. He is always friendly and maintains a good relationship with me as a patient and always acts in a professional manner. The door to the examination room is kept open during the appointment to make doctor and patient comfortable. His assistants are very friendly and treat all the patients with respect. One of my eyes has a condition that he has to continually monitor during each annual exam and he always remembers to check it.

I had no problem whatsoever very businesslike in and out it was a great experience.
