Great Staff and Dr Kreifels does a great job!

I have always went to the dentist here, and kreifels is extremely efficient and honest, always had my best my best interest in mind. I now see his coworker Chet who is super friendly, also efficient and welcoming. Its awesome to see people from atlantic Carry on the great service. I have many family member that drive over an hour to continue going here due to the great work they do! The secretary there is very rude. Dr kriefels is not very friendly either and not too good with kids at all. I was 7 minutes late for my kids last dental appointment. We walked in, nobody else in the waiting room and the secretary sat there and talked to an assistant for about 7 minutes and ignored me. Then finally acknowledged me and I said I was there for my kids’ appointment and she said “oh I’m sorry your appointment was at xyz time. You’re late”. Then she continued to talk to the other assistant for another oh about 10 minutes as I sat there with my son and my impatient 3 year old daughter. Then once she was done gossiping she acknowledged me again and said “well since you were late I’m not sure he will be able to see you” so here I am 7 minutes late yet she gossips to other employees for a total of 20 minutes as I sit there. Then tells me we probably can’t be seen because we were a few minutes late. She was so rude my 10 year old son picked up on it and was like “come on mom she’s ignoring us let’s just go”. I had even called to and let the secretary know I was running a little late. She said she had a note in my file that if we are late again we’re not to be seen. I have never been late to a previous appointment before. Needless to say. I switched dentists. I highly recommend Nishna Valley dental over kriefels family dental any day. The secretary at Nishna Valley Dental is super professional and pleasant. And the dentists (there are 2 at Nishna Valley dental a girl and a guy) are very great with kids and very very pleasant! At kriefels family dental my daughter threw an absolute fit because they held her down and wouldn’t let me hold her. At Nishna Valley dental they let me lay in the chair with my daughter laying on top of me to get her teeth cleaned and she did great!! There are amazing dentists and dental assistants/staff out there so don’t settle for horrible service. you will not be treated with respect and your kids will be treated horribly at kriefels family dental. My 10 year old son had fillings done there and kriefels didn’t even acknowledge him. Didn’t say hi to him didn’t tell him what he’d be doing or nothing. It was like he wasn’t even there. I felt horrible for my son. And this was not the appointment we were 7 minutes late to. This was a previous appointment that we were on time for and were treated horribly that time as well. I have no good things to say about kriefels family dental or any of the staff there. The secretary there is very rude. Dr kriefels is not very friendly either and not too good with kids at all.
